Question: What is up with that pig thing in the window? Does it have anything do to do with anything?

Answer: That's Jodie. In the book and the supposed "true" story, the Lutz' daughter said Jodie could appear to her in any form he wanted, but usually looked like a pig.

Answer: According to the book (and you can take that for what it is worth), one of the characters saw a pair of glowing red eyes in a window. Later they went outside and found pig tracks in the snow. That is what this scene is trying to convey.

Guy

Answer: The answer that mentions that the pig thing in the window is supposed to be Jodie is correct. However, in the broader spectrum of things, the appearance or the sounds of animals (squeals, growls, etc.) during a haunting is supposed to mean that the haunting is demonic in nature, which the haunting in this story obviously was.

dewinela

Question: What song is playing right after the "costume" party?

Answer: That song is "Watch Me Shine" Performed by Joanna Pacitti. It is on the soundtrack.

moviemogul

Question: What is that song sung at the wedding, when Mia is walking down the isle?

Answer: It is a famous classical song, "Canon in D" written by Pachelbel.

Question: Why was it banned in South Africa?

Answer: The film was never banned in South Africa. It was released uncut and was a box office hit.

Question: When Robert the Bruce is talking to the nobles at the begining of the movie, what is the significance of him seeing his dad up above on the balcony and saying that his dad couldn't be there in person, but sends his regards?

Answer: The significance is that his Dad is not away on business he is very sick and hiding. I would imagine both he and his dad think that their position would weakened if the other nobles new his dad was sick and probably going to die soon.

pross79

Question: I didn't understand the rationale of Jim releasing the infected soldier Mailer into the mansion, since he knew the women were still inside, unprepared and unarmed. Anyone got a good reason why he did it?

Answer: He also knew that the women were in an interior room, upstairs, with the door(s) closed; and that Mailer was much more likely to encounter/eliminate the other soldiers who were downstairs and mobile first. He was probably gambling - correctly, as it turned out - that he'd be able to make it upstairs and either rescue the women or eliminate Mailer before they were harmed.

Rooster of Doom

Answer: Shaun's last name is Riley. It can be seen on a poster ad from Shaun's DJ days.

Question: Can anyone tell me where Gogo gets the ball and chain weapon from? She carries a short-bladed sword with her into the nightclub. There's no place on her skimpy schoolgirl outfit to conceal the bulky ball and chain. Is this a mistake?

Answer: No, no mistake. The House of Blue Leaves is obviously a hangout for O-ren and the Crazy 88, seeing how so many of them are there, and the familiarity they show with the place. It would only be natural for Gogo to have some backup weapons hidden away there, since she knows they come there often and stay for some time.

Question: What's the name of the song that plays on the radio while they're fixing the plane? Not the Mexican song, the pop one.

Answer: "Hey Ya" by Outkast.

MoonFaery

Question: What is the name of the high priest?

Answer: The high priest's name is Tzekel-Kan.

Question: Who is the actor that plays the character of Dorian when he has the Mask on? I looked on IMDB and there's a character by the name of The Figure, is that him?

Toolio

Answer: Garret Sato plays Dorian with the mask on. He is uncredited.

Hey Can you give proof that Garrett Sato played Dorian with the mask? I did not find any proof online for this. And anyway in the scene that ties Tina up at the club you can see Dorian with the mask and Garrett Sato together. Which means that either they used a special effect to see them both together but in fact there is only one, or this isn't true.

Answer: Hey Can you give proof that Garrett Sato played Dorian with the mask? I did not find any proof online for this! And anyway in the scene that ties Tina up at the club you can see Dorian with the mask and Garrett Sato together! Which means that either they used a special effect to see them both together but in fact there is only one player or it's all that's fake news. Waiting for an answer. Thanks.

Chosen answer: It's the same actor (Peter Greene) in the Mask as out of it. While there's a listing for a character called "The Figure", played by Robert O'Reilly, that appears to be from an online version of the script that includes a sequence that was cut from the finished film.

Question: When he starts his first film, Dirk is presumably 17. Isn't it illegal for anyone under 18 to be in a porn film?

Cubs Fan

Chosen answer: It is illegal, but that doesn't mean that it's not possible for him to get away with it. Tracy Lords was under 18 when she first started making porn.

Jane Doe

Question: In the scene where Sarah is in the bathroom during the time when her three other covenmates are torturing her, she walks by what looks like a paper towel dispenser kind of high up on the wall that has some writing on it. What do those letters mean?

Sarah Van Winkle

Chosen answer: It says "Gustav Klimt", the name of an artist in the 1800s, and the paper towel dispenser is actually one of his prints. In the shot where Robin Tunney is walking out of the shower, you can see the bottom of the painting, although the full piece is never visable.

Question: Just before Todd Anderson has his emotional breakdown about Neil's death, one of his friends grabs a handful of snow and shoves it at his mouth. Why did he do that? It makes no sense.

Matty Blast

Chosen answer: He is just trying to get something to help wash the taste of vomit out of Todd's mouth.

Macalou

Question: Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the "island" sound versions of the various songs played throughout the movie? (like somewhere over the rainbow) I have the soundtrack, but it doesn't include all the songs.

angelus tumultuor

Chosen answer: A complete listing can be found on the IMDB page for the movie. Specifically if you're looking for "Over the Rainbow", that was performed by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0343660/soundtrack).

Brush With Greatness - S2-E18

Question: Can someone explain why Marge frowns when the art teacher is explaining The Lombardo theory, the one where he says "And here we have an adorable little bunny rabbit. It's just that easy." Why Marge seeming upset with what he just said? The reaction shot is a couple of seconds so I am assuming there is something that I must have missed.

Lummie

Chosen answer: I think it's because the art teacher is making it seem so easy when in fact it is really quite difficult. I think the line he says is something like "Yes, even a rhombus can create an adorible little bunny rabbit" - it's obviously much harder than just putting shapes together. It could also be an inside joke by the animators maybe - Marge could be frowning because it's not 'that easy' to create an animation (which she is, obviously) and could just be a joke. Knowing the Simpsons, this wouldn't be too far-fetched.

Sam Johnson

Question: Maybe I'm missing something, but why is it such a big deal that Trinity and Morpheus have to take the freeway when they're trying to escape with the Keymaker? Link reminds them that it's never been done, suggesting it's an incredibly risky manoeuvre, but why is this?

Shay

Chosen answer: Well, when they're on the freeway everybody in the cars are potential agents...the reason it's so dangerous (as opposed to, say, going by foot) is that agents in large vehicles are obviously more dangerous than agents on foot. The agents fear nothing, which is shown when the two agents in the lorries collide with each other. There are also fewer avenues of escape.

Sam Johnson

Chosen answer: They are all throughout the film but the biggest one is when Eric is steering the ship to stab or skewer Ursula.

Disney-Freak

Question: What is the song that plays during the scene when the boy kiss in the woods?

Hamster

Chosen answer: Make Your Own Kind Of Music, by Mama Cass.

Question: I watched this on British TV. On the site, I saw some mistakes talking about the ear piercing on the site. I did not see Hallie sterilizing the needle bit. Why is this?

Answer: Because that scene was cut out for TV. This is a regular occurrence so that the movies will fit in the time slot given to them.
