Question: What's the name of the song when Vinny and Lisa make their first appearance in the town?

Answer: The song is called "Mind Your Own Business" By Clivilles & Cole.

Question: In the scene where the main girl Erin goes into that trailer and looks at the photo then to the lady who has short hair with the baby she says "That's not your baby. You stole her." Who's baby did she steal? What does that have to do with the girl who shot herself?

Answer: She stole the baby from the woman who shot herself at the beginning of the film.

The woman never mentions a baby in her short amount of screen time, and although she seems to have bleeding that would be consistent with sexual assault, it wouldn't explain the child that seems to be at least a year old. Although we are probably supposed to assume this is her child, I think that it was a dropped story beat that they failed to edit out completely.

Answer: There are two stargates. One that is set up permanently in the cheyanne mountain set, and one the is moved to locations. There are probably two or three DHD's.

Question: What is the song that is starting to play when Dewey Finn (Black) is assigning all the kids positions?

Answer: The song playing is "Back in Black" by AC/DC.

Question: I thought I recognised the woman that pushes Forrest in line for the Vietnam veteran demonstration as a cameo of Sandra Bullock, and the woman Jenny as a hippie is playing guitar with (before the guy asks them to go to SF) as a cameo of Lisa Kudrow. Anyone knows whether this is correct?

Answer: The actress you think might be Sandra Bullock is listed as a actress named Hilary Chaplain.

Answer: They are not listed on IMDB as such. Also by 1994, Sandra Bullock's only memorable appearance was Demolition Man (her real popularity started with Speed in 1994), and Lisa Kudrow was only known for the waitress on "Mad About You" - a minor role. Neither would have been a likely choice for a "cameo" role, yet at the same time would probably have charged too much for an extra/walk-on.

Question: During an outtake with the 3 aliens hanging from the roof of the car, one of them asks another if he made it into the first Toy Story movie. The other alien says, "On the letterbox (widescreen) copy." Is this true?

Answer: Um, this is a joke. Pixar reframe their films for full-screen releases, so as not to lose any of the action, so, in terms of aliens appearing, there shouldn't be any difference between the widescreen and full-screen versions.

Question: Why, being there so many sequences of nudity in the film, the woman in the funeral car Max brings for Noodles after he is released from jail has her breasts blurred?, why would this scene be conceived like that?.

Answer: You have a censored version. The American R1 version has no such censoring.

Question: When Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots are in a barn or something because its raining, Donkey starts singing "Tomorrow", until he falls asleep. What does he say right before he falls asleep?

Answer: As Donkey passes out he says, "I'm Coming Elizabeth," a reference to Fred Sanford from the sitcom "Sanford and Son" (1972).

Question: When Truman is looking at the photo album by himself what is it that he sees in the wedding photo that makes him act oddly around Meryl the next morning?

Answer: In the wedding photo, Meryl has her fingers crossed which means she doesn't agree with what she is doing. Most of the time, when you are lying you cross your fingers. Obviously because she is just an actress, she does not love Truman. The next morning when Meryl leaves, Truman says "I'll cross my fingers for ya" and she looks at him funny.

Question: When Luke ventures into the cave on Dagobah the camera, for whatever reason, holds on a lizard of some kind hissing at him. Anyone know what species it is?

Answer: Kimodo Dragon (Varanus komodensis) The Komodo dragon is the world's largest lizard species. It is found mainly on the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rintja, Padar, and Flores. There are only an estimated 1,000 to 5,000 of these monitor lizards living today. Reaching lengths of up to 3 m or more, and weighing up to 126 kg, these reptiles are swift runners and climbers with great appetites for deer and wild boar. The best website to find about this is at www.isidore-of-seville.com/komodo/.

Tree House of Horror V - S6-E6

Question: Homer travels back in time and causes changes by what he does in the past, like stepping on a bug. I once saw a movie with the same basic plot: some people travel back in time and are told to be careful not to disturb anything, but when they return to their time everything has changed. In the end they discover it was because they stepped on a butterfly. Does anyone know the name of this movie?

Answer: I'm not sure if this is the one you're thinking of, but an episode of "Ray Bradbury Theatre," called "A Sound of Thunder," dealt with a similar matter: a group of hunters travel back in time to hunt dinosaurs, only to find things have changed when they get back because someone stepped on a butterfly.

Xofer

Answer: Answer: Rus in Latin means country or land. The whole movie was based on winning freedom. Fighting and dying to win them their home, their country. Arturius chooses Britain as his land and his countrymen to defend. So Rus in this context, being they are Roman, their battle cry means 'for country', not Rome but Britain. For home.

The Rus were Viking/Slavs with beginnings in Kiev.

Yes, but they arrived in Kiev in the 9th century and this movie is set in the 5th.

Answer: I would think that the sheer emotional stress of what he's gone through that day would be quite enough to provoke a few tears.

Question: What is the name of the song that comes on when Ben Affleck wakes up and turns on the radio?

Question: When SG-1 are going to P2X-555 (I think) they get sent back in time. Why do they come out in Cheyenne Mountain instead of the boxed stargate in Washington DC?

Answer: Carter explained it in the episode. For a brief moment, they were present in both time periods, which allowed for the Stargate to be there for them to step out of. Agreed, it does make more sense for the Stargate's unstable vortex to punch through its packing crate, but then you wouldn't end up with the hilarious "I'm Luke Skywalker" scene.

Question: Why did Jack not turn into a skeleton in the moonlight in the prison (near the beginning), but at the end he did turn into a skeleton in the moonlight?

Answer: He wasn't cursed at the beginning because the crew mutinied against him before they reached the island with the Aztec gold. He becomes cursed during his speech to Barbossa near the end when he takes a few gold coins from the chest and returns most, but not all, of them.

Phoenix

Question: What does Dr. Jackson say when they send the probe through? Is it, "Where are we on that map?" or, "Where will it be on that map?"

Answer: It's "Where are we on that map?" the reply given is "The blue dot". He then traces the path to the other side of the map where the probe is shown, which is on the other side of the universe.

Question: Near the end of the movie, Edward Gracey says to Ramsley that the letter is written in Elizabeth's hand. If Mr. Gracey knew what Elizabeth's writing looks like, wouldn't he have realized that the fake letter Ramsley wrote was in fact fake and not from Elizabeth?

Emily

Chosen answer: Considering Ramsley's intelligence, he would have been able to make "couterfeit" handwriting.

Question: I am confused as to an event when the Rangers are in Osgiliath. Why one of the Nazgul (possibly the Witch King himself) would be within a few feet of the One Ring, and allow himself to be driven off by an arrow shot into the Fell Beast. After seeing the One Ring, he flew off....I doubt that Sauron would have understood.

scwilliam

Chosen answer: Well, for one thing, he's most likely having a hard time controlling the arrow-shot Fell Beast. Secondly, there's no evidence that he positively identified the Ring. He saw a hobbit, which he knows are of interest, but, as Sam intercepts Frodo before he puts the Ring on, has no way of knowing that he actually held the Ring itself. Given the level of resistance on the ground, it doesn't make good tactical sense to try and land the annoyed Fell Beast to chase after a hobbit.

Chosen answer: The Park is called "Golf 'n' Stuff" (like in the movie) and is located in Norwalk, CA. The slide unfortunately was removed in the early 90s.
