Question: During the film Eugene grabs a gun and tries to Kill himself, this did not work as explained in the film it was not his time to die, So how could Kimberley kill herself as it was not her turn to die, due to the fact the officer saved her at the beginning putting her at the back of the queue to die, so the officer would need to die first for Kimberley to kill herself. Is this an oversight in the film or did I miss something?

Question: Does anyone know why Ashton's name didn't appear in the credits?
Answer: When and where an actor's name appears in a movie's credits affects his (or her) leverage in future contracts. It's not uncommon for a big-name actor taking a relatively small role to not appear in the credits rather than lose money on the next project.
Question: During a restaurant scene Drea deMatteo plays a hostess. She seats the Sopranos, but does not seem to know them. Was she picked to play Adriana after this episode?
Answer: Yup, just like Nicholas Lea was chosen to play Alex Krycek on the X-files after showing up on 1 episode as a different character.
Question: Is it (or was it, as the case may be) really a common practice to put keys in the visor? (And why?)
Answer: It's not really "common" per se, but some surveys indicate that up to one in seventeen people in the US routinely leaves their keys in the car overnight. If you do so, it's only logical to put them in a place where they can't be easily seen yet you will be able to find them. It's just luck that it happens to work out for Arnold in this movie.
Question: What brand of rum does Cerano have in his locker for Jobu?
Answer: At about 17 min. in is the best view of the bottle, it says "Bonded" at the top of the label, then just "Jamaca Rum". Below that you can barely make out "A Product of..." the rest is too out of focus.
Question: When Will is on the boat with Viola, he begins a speech "Love knows nothing of rank or riverbank." Is this from one of Shakespeare's actual plays, or was it just written for the movie?
Answer: It was just written for the movie.
Question: SPOILER: Blade is shown to be driving towards another battle during the end credits. Does this mean that the virus only killed the vampires in the building? Wasn't it supposed to destroy all the vampires in the world?
Answer: No, the amount was only enough to destroy the vampires in the immediate vicinity.
Question: There's a scene in which Blurr is firing at the Decepticons from three windows, he says something while doing that. What exactly does he say?
Answer: We've got Decepticons at the gate, Decepticons in the air, Decepticons inside the walls: Decepticons, Decepticons, Decepticons!If we beat them on the walls, they're still in the air, we shoot them out the air, they're still at the gate. So where does that leave us? Nowhere, that's where.
Question: When they let the German who shot Wade walk away blindfolded, why on earth did they not handcuff him as well? They did not assure that he was picked up by the allied, and he could easily remove the blindfold. After all it was bad judgment as he was the one who killed Capt. Miller.
Answer: Why not tie up him and put him in a ditch? There's a million things he could have done. One reason he just made him walk away blindfolded was to scare him into thinking he was going to be executed. Its not really shown whether they even had handcuffs, so it's hard to determine if they could have done something like that. Their main concern was with the mission, not what would happen to him. Last thing with letting him go, Miller could have been shot by any one of those German soldiers so it's more just ironic that he killed him.
Question: Why did they cast Eric Stoltz when they knew they wanted Michael J. Fox? (I know Fox was doing Family Ties)
Answer: Due to his scheduling on Family Ties, Michael J. Fox was not originally available, so they went with their second choice of Eric Stoltz. The studio, however, permitted Fox to film the movie only if it didn't interfere with his obligations to them. So, he filmed Back to the Future at night and on days he wasn't needed at the Family Ties set.
Question: In the cartoon, all the Dinobots have stunted speech patterns, but in the comics, it it only Grimlock that has the stunted speech patterns (I'm talking about the 80 issue mini-series). Can anyone tell me why?
Answer: In the cartoon series, the Dinobots were created by Wheeljack and Ratchet on Earth. Basically they were supposed to be 'dumb brutes' and nothing more and were there to help entertain smaller kids. However in the comic, all the dinobots came from Cybertron and they all had normal intelligence, but Grimlock had a malfunction that caused him to speak differently. The dinobots were actually very smart in the comics, and didn't have to be dumbed down to help attract small children. It is a difference of continuities, nothing else.
Question: Since Matt Murdock is blind, how did he get his Daredevil costume?
Answer: More than likely, the priest has been helping him.
Why would the priest help Matt? When Matt talks to the priest, the priest seems a bit angry at him for what he does.
Question: What was the relationship between Dr. Lanning and Dr. Calvin?
Answer: Mentor and protege.
Question: In many reviews I've read of this film, folks say that, at the end, it is revealed that the bet between God and Satan for the first to reach 100 billion souls was all a joke by God on the devil. I have seen this film five times and never once (even after reading these things) did I hear/see anything that even remotely indicated that the contest was a joke. Can someone please fill me in on this?
Answer: It's a joke because the souls already belong to God. It's mentioned during the jail scene. So the question is irrelevant, as God already has well over 100 billion souls in any case, and the devil can't gain them back.
There is no jail scene in this movie. You're probably thinking of the remake.
Question: Was Doom II (the game played in the Ultimart) ever ported to an arcade machine? I think it would be difficult to produce a real coin-op version of the game (a lot of custom hardware and programming - I don't think any arcade hardware could support Doom back then). Making a prop would be easy by sticking a PC with a TV monitor (to prevent flicker) in a cabinet mock-up, or even just run a pre-recorded tape of someone playing Doom and just have the actor mime it.
Answer: No, Doom II was never available in a commerical arcade cabinet. It must have been specifically designed for the movie.
Question: Does anyone know why Mark Darcy's mother's name was changed from Elaine (in the book) to Geraldine (in the film)?
Answer: Lots of times in book-to-movie situations and even in some remakes, the producers/writers/directors change names or events. It can be because of personal issues, legal ones or it can even be spur of the moment. it can also be unintentional,when they change it without the specific INTENTION to change it. I think in this case it was more likely that the character/or their name didn't have too much of an impact on the story line, so they didn't feel a pressing need to keep it the same.
Question: Does anyone know if there is a soundtrack (CD) for this movie available anywhere?
Answer: I doubt it as, the film was made during Parker's college years, but every song asis available as an mp3 at www.cannibalthemusical.net.
Question: What is the name of the actor who plays Notre Dame player 75, last name Mateus? I can't find him in the credits. He's the guy who starts chanting "Rudy" during the Georgia Tech game. Somebody said it might be WWE Superstar Al Snow, aka Allen Sarven, but it's not.
Question: Why wasn't this movie titled 'Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind'? It involved abduction of humans by aliens.
Answer: At the time the film was made a close encounter of the third kind covered all contact between humans and aliens. The terminology has changed and it was only in the early eighties that it was decided to introduce a new level and abduction was the fourth kind.
Answer: Also I would consider that "abduction" has a negative connotation and "contact" is less threatening.
Question: There was a mistake about a crew member's hand being visible when a woman is trying to shut the fridge door, but I can't see it. Can anyone tell me if it is at the top, middle or the bottom of the fridge?

Answer: Given that Death not only lets Kimberly die but actively helps her (by stopping the cop from getting to her in time), my best guess is that when Kimberly pulled him to the ground a few seconds earlier to avoid the gurney flying from the explosion, it was counted as her saving him and thus made him skip to the back of the queue.
