Chosen answer: Meg is typically depicted as unpopular at school, so she chose to conceal the fact that she was straight because of the acceptance she felt from the members of the club. It was only when her alleged lesbianism was put to the test at the end that she was compelled to tell the truth about her sexual orientation.

Chosen answer: By this point the witch king is indeed stronger than Saruman. However Saruman's power had been declining ever since he chose to follow Sauron.

Question: At the beginning of the movie, whenever Katie is standing in front the fridge, what does she hear whenever she looks in the hallway and heads upstairs? It seems as though she hears something that makes her head that way, but what?

Answer: She hears water running and head upstairs to the bathroom. She hears the TV and went to the hallway.

Question: How do I get my custom character to fly? Sometimes I press the jump button twice and it will fly but other times, when I press the jump button, it jumps once and then falls down. It doesn't fly at all.

Answer: I am afraid custom characters do not possess the ability to fly. The LEGO pieces that construct the custom characters are taken from the designs of other characters within the game and will be able to use the weapons owned by some characters, but a custom character flying is not possible. The only characters who can fly are those who have already been designed into the game that way (e.g. Superman, Green Lantern).

Casual Person

Question: When Laurence Fishburne shot someone in the head, it was with a scoped rifle. After the gun fight, how come there was no scope on the rifle?

Answer: He either removed it, or this is a movie mistake.

Question: Why did Jack type "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" a thousand times? In the interview, he said he was working on a new project, and I doubt that he was referring to typing the same thing over and over. Also, does Jack actually know the truth about the hotel? He implies in the breakfast scene that he's not really sure about why he feels so strongly with the hotel, but he seems to personally know the bartender and doesn't seem surprised in the gold room right before he meets Grady.

Answer: The hotel has a strong influence on Jack's mentality. Jack had every intention on writing a play, but once the Torrances arrived at the Overlook, the hotel began working its powers on him, affecting his mental state. During the interview, Jack was not yet under the hotel's influence because in order to achieve its true goal (to capture Danny's shining ability) it needed to get the Torrance family to the hotel first. It is strongly implied that Jack is a reincarnation and had been the hotel many years before, explaining the strong sense of deja vu he feels. It is widely believed that Jack knows Lloyd the barman and Grady from a past life, and that all of their souls are forever linked to the Overlook.

Question: A flashback shows how the Warden hated it when her grandfather made her dig and look for treasure all day. Why would she choose to create the facility as an adult, and continue to look for treasure that she apparently did not believe in?

Answer: She did believe in the treasure. She just didn't want to dig for it. Which is why she started the camp. Free labor.

Question: When Mulder finds the bomb, what are the numbers he relates to Scully that tells her he found it?

Answer: Scully thinks Mulder is joking. He is reading the counter on the bomb to prove he isn't, second by second.

Question: How come Kailey never actually cries? In every scene she never has tears but sounds like she does.

Answer: That would be a flaw with the actress.

MasterOfAll

Question: During the musical number "Gaston," was Luke Evans actually physically capable of lifting Josh Gad and a woman on his shoulders or did Josh Gad and the woman have suspension strings attached to them?

Johman

Chosen answer: He may well be strong enough to perform such a feat, but considering that each movie scene is filmed a number of times in order to get the best version, it would be physically impossible and dangerous to all the actors for this stunt to be performed without safety harnesses and suspension cables.

Question: At the beginning of the move it is established that Big Jake has not seen his sons for 10 years, but it appears he is close enough geographically to be found, summoned and arrive before the bad guys can get more than a days' ride away from the ranch. Was he really that bad of a dad or is his arrival at the ranch a bit too magical?

Answer: He has been gone for 10 years but knows "Juan and the little boy", not 10 years old I assume.

Answer: It doesn't help explain locating Big Jake or time involved, but as to helping some with the quickness of him coming to help, remember he came in on a train, he didn't ride back home.

Answer: Jake was a very rough character when he was a younger man, and his wife did not want him around. After the grandson is rescued, the family realises he has changed and they reunite.

Question: When Frost attempts suicide, Beck shoots him in the shoulder to disarm him... why? He could have easily killed Frost (or Danny and Chris, who were several feet behind Frost).

EK8829

Chosen answer: Beck wants Frost to stand trial and suffer for his crimes. Realistically a trained officer would never do this not only for the reasons stated but also because police officers are trained to shoot to kill, not to wound.

Answer: Old people usually have poorly maintained butts for some reason. I work at a hospital, and it's the first place they check for sores.

Answer: He might've been on the show "Stabbed in the Butt", which was in a Family Guy cutaway.

Answer: Old people tend to be wrinkly. Stewie is a baby who doesn't understand that.

Question: If Doc doesn't have a gravestone in the end, how is Marty from the beginning of the movie aware that he must go save his friend in 1885 instead of jumping straight to 1985?

Answer: The BTTF universe establishes time and again that time travel does not change the existing timeline, but rather creates alternate timelines. So even if Marty changes the past, it creates a new timeline independent of the one he left. So he can erase the gravestone that led him to 1885 without causing a paradox.

Answer: Even if the other answer is true, he wouldn't have needed to know that his friend died to go back and get him. Before you say Doc wouldn't have wanted to go back because he had settled in 1885, he only settled because he found that he couldn't fix the Delorean.

Answer: Its not SQD, it's CQD. This used to be the distress signal sent out by ships before SOS became commonplace, and it stems for the French pronunciation of CQ, the same as how they pronounce "sécurité". The D either means disaster or distress.

Friso94

Answer: It was CQD. It stands for "come quickly, distress" or "come quickly danger!"

CQ does not mean "come quickly." CQ meant all telegraph stations to be on alert. Later they added D to stand for Distress. CQD means "all stations: distress."

Bishop73

Question: When Silver detonates the explosives and causes the subway train to crash through to the lower level shouldn't the lights in the train cars have gone out, as the train was no longer connected to the electric system?

Answer: They probably have emergency battery backup.

Chosen answer: Rachel was tired of Ross' constant insecurity over their relationship and his unfounded jealousy over Mark, Rachel's co-worker. Ross was also fed-up because Rachel had become overly obsessed with working, and was not spending enough time with him. When Rachel said she wanted a break, it was in the heat of an argument. The next day she wanted to immediately get back together, only to discover that Ross had slept with the girl from the copy center within hours of their break-up.

raywest

Answer: Ross was being an insufferable jealous man. He never actually listened to Rachel when she said she didn't have time to stop for food and wine for their anniversary. Typical selfish baby behavior that was Ross Geller.

Question: During the barrel water scene, Bomba is catapulted through the air and fights a bunch of orcs, he discards his barrel because it is all smashed up. Where did the extra barrel he jumps into come from? We never see extra empty barrels following the dwarves.

Tony

Answer: When they are all getting into their barrels from Bilbos plan an extra barrel can be seen in the bottom right screen but Bilbo did not see it possibly because he just didn't notice.

Question: Why can't Dooku sense Obi-Wan on Geonosis? In ANH, Vader could sense Obi-Wan on the Death Star.

DFirst1

Chosen answer: For one thing Vader is significantly more powerful than Dooku. Vader also has a strong emotional connection with Obi Wan and thus it is easier to sense him.

BaconIsMyBFF

How come? Tyranus, Obi Wan and Vader are all force sensitive. So we could expect Dooku might have sensed Kenobi.

DFirst1

There's nothing in the film to suggest he did. In A New Hope, Vader specifically mentions sensing Obi Wan. In Return of the Jedi, Luke specifically mentions sensing Vader. There is no mention that either Obi Wan or Dooku could sense the other on Geonosis. Dooku being able to sense Obi Wan would go a long way to explain the hilarious ease of Obi Wan's capture, but it can't be said that he could sense him just because he can use the force and force users can do that. We aren't shown it and he doesn't mention it.

BaconIsMyBFF

Maybe Dooku sensed Obi Wan. But, I think it's part of the plan to get Kenobi captured. Because Dooku is going to reveal a "dark secret" to the Jedi.

DFirst1

Answer: Dooku knew that Obi Wan was spying him. But he did that on purpose, by luring him into a trap. As you can see in the film, he was captured so that Dooku would plant a seed with the Republic in order to ensure the Clone Wars began as Sidious and Tyranus planned.

DFirst1

Chosen answer: Obi-Wan used it until he made himself a new one. Then it was presumably turned over to the Jedi Temple.
