Fool's Gold (2008)

Continuity mistake: After the divorce has been made final and Tess and Ben are outside, you can see that Ben's shirt has gotten considerably dryer than in the previous shot without a reasonable amount of time for it to have done so.

Fool's Gold (2008)

Factual error: After the boat has blown up and sunk, Ben swims over to it and checks it out, very little to anything is even a little charred, with that big of an explosion everything would be burnt, and black.

Fool's Gold (2008)

Factual error: Toward the end when the speedboats steer toward Ben, if you look at his hair you can see that part of it is dry even though he just came up from under the water.

Plot hole: When Neptune places the curse on Emily, her hands begin to become webbed but never once does she have webbed hands when she is a mermaid so the curse shouldn't cause this. She isn't becoming something that she isn't, she is becoming half mer half human, so the curse shouldn't affect her hands because they never actually transform when she changes into a mermaid, only her lower half changes. Even the pictures in the book show hands that aren't webbed when in mermaid form.

Continuity mistake: When the sisters are at the baseball game and Katherine Heigl is eating french-fries there is a shot that shows her taking a bite of the french-fry but when the shot changes she has a whole fry in her hand.

The Invisible (2007)

Continuity mistake: When Nick and Annie are lying together in the hospital bed the camera switches between them a few times, every time Annie's head is either closer to Nick's than it was in the last shot or farther away than in the last shot.

Disney-Freak

Continuity mistake: In the scene when the mom is making sandwiches she picks up a piece of meat and puts it on the sandwich in her hand but then when the shot changes she is taking that same piece of meat and putting it on the same sandwich, and you can see that she isn't taking another piece and putting on the sandwich because you can see that all she has on the sandwich in her hand is a piece of lettuce.

Continuity mistake: When Jack is in Davey Jones' locker, and he is messing around with the rock, there are a few close up shots of his face and there is a bump, probably a pimple, on the left hand side of his face, by his lower lip, and a few shots later it is gone. It disappears without enough time passing for it to have gone away of its own accord.

Continuity mistake: When Meeko is running to Pocahontas on the ship you see the railing of the ship is not solid behind her, then you see Meeko vomiting over the side of the ship but the railing is now solid. Then when Pocahontas picks up Meeko and turns around the railing behind her has returned to a state that is no longer solid.

Trivia: Davy Jones's tentacles were inspired by a stained coffee cup. The special effects team was puzzled when they tried to figure out what the color and texture of his tentacles should be. Then they saw a used cup on the table with a coffee stain on the inside, so they scanned the stain into the computer and that's how he got his tentacles.

Disney-Freak

Trivia: The cast was clueless about what was going to happen in the bone cage. Director Gore Verbinski kept it a secret because he wanted to get their real reactions when the cage started swinging.

Deliberate mistake: When Eric's ship blows up, his statue bobs up and down. A statue this weight would not be able to bob up and down for even a second. It would just sink straight to the bottom.

Disney-Freak

Trivia: King Triton and Ursula are actually brother and sister, this is stated on one of the behind the scenes features of the 2 disc platinum edition.

Disney-Freak
