Question: When Ant-Man is traveling through the pipes, he reaches an intersection where ants hang down for him to grab and go up. How did those ants get ahead of him, and why didn't he just do what they did to get to that point?
Answer: The ants come from everywhere, they just came from the other side.
Question: When Will convinces Mark to hold off leaving town so he can go save Lori, Mark says "OK, but if you're not here by morning, I'm outta here." Just wondering how Mark was going to leave town (if he survived the night and Will didn't make it back) since Will had his vehicle?
Answer: He could choose to either hitchhike or get someone to take him to the next town.
Answer: Mark could have hiked on out of town. Or he could have bicycled. Or got a bus. Or a cab.
Answer: The town has said no-one comes in, and no-one leaves (which how do some of the character get to crystal lake which is in the movie mistakes as a plot hole) how could he leave?
Question: This is a question for the XYZ series. I can't figure out if Alain is a good guy or a bad guy. He acts like he is good but I am not so sure if he really is. Can anyone tell me if he is good or bad?
Answer: He is a good guy but just found himself in a bad situation when he worked for Lysander. He didn't want him to harm Ash and his Pokémon when he was trying to get the special bond between Ash and his Greninja to work. He does leave Lysander and go back to being a good person.
Question: What is the story behind Grizabella? Why do the other cats seem to hate her and shun her?
Answer: It's a bit vague, but when Grizabella was young, she left the other Jellicle cats, turning her back on them to live another life, thinking she was more glamorous than the others. Now that she is older and has fallen on hard times, she returns, wanting to rejoin the tribe. The other cats are resentful that she considered herself better than them, and they are put off by her shabby appearance, so do not want her back.
Question: When Staker takes Mako's spot he has to wear her (metallic?) protective suit. How did he instantly get it to fit him?
Answer: Stacker Pentecost doesn't take either Mako's spot or her suit, he takes the spot of Herc Hansen. The suit was just a spare one, with the implication that he had gained some weight since he was a Jaeger pilot himself.
The Justice League Recombination - S4-E11
Question: What is Raj's problem with Aquaman? Is it that he doesn't have powers?
Answer: Aquaman does in fact have powers. It is a long running joke that Aquaman is not a useful member of the Justice League due to a seemingly useless set of powers.
Dr. Hans Koehler (No. 33) - S6-E1
Question: The plastic surgeon used computers and software to change Constantine's face. Yet the agency keeps saying they didn't know what he looked like. Why did they not review the computers? Re the "bones and DNA", previously using a glass for DNA it was Keen who identified Red as her dad due to matching DNA, but now she believes he is not and the DNA report with the bones is accurate. Why? if DNA reports can be manipulated how to know which was the correct one?
Question: When Ressler is trying to find the elusive Constantine, why don't they radio descriptions such as (grey hair, sunglasses, blue blazer)? As he tends to the victim shot at UN, why does he not simultaneously radio for perimeter search with description? In same episode, Keen states how much "good" Red does as if defending him to her "sister" yet she then says she is the one who turned him in? Not logical. And besides, was it ever proven that the sister is in fact Liz's sister via DNA etc.? Not very good FBI work.
Question: Aunt May subtly reveals, or at least implies, she knows Peter is Spider-Man when she's moving. Does she know in the comics? Because I remember in the comics she does not seem to like Spider-Man at all?
Answer: In the main Marvel continuity Aunt May does eventually find out that Peter is Spider-Man. Her memory is wiped of this knowledge later on.
Answer: In Amazing Spider-Man Vol 2. Number 35 Aunt May permanently finds out about Peter's secret identity and knows from then on.
That gets changed later on. Not sure which issue but it's after Civil War, she has her mind wiped after Peter gives her radioactive blood to save her life. I'm not entirely sure if that too is eventually changed but from what I remember Aunt May hasn't known his identity since Civil War.
Yeah it does switch around a lot. Dr. Strange made it so nobody will find out unless he wants them to. I suppose Aunt May doesn't know anymore then.
Keeping up with comic book continuity is an absolute nightmare.
I couldn't agree more. I've always wished for some kind of easy, interactive overview of what I was reading. I've actually given up on comics because of the hellish chronology. Well, except Judge Dredd which is pretty straight forward.
Question: Who is in charge of Oscorp now?
Answer: Donald Menken, the Vice President of Oscorp, framed Harry for covering up Max Dillon's accident and has him removed so he could take over the company. By the end of the movie, Oscorp would now be under his control.
But he was killed in a deleted scene.
Deleted scenes don't make for canon content - it has to involve a degree of guesswork. Some deleted scenes happen, we just didn't see them in the movie, others are movie ideas that were cut out precisely because they don't fit the movie as released, so didn't happen. No way to know which is which, and this is just a thought exercise anyway.
So this is possible that, at the end of this movie, Menken is still alive, right?
Question: What made Cooper think that Amelia was in love with Edmunds? Cooper asks Amelia about Edmunds, she tells him about him but she never says anything to indicate that she's in love with him.
Answer: Cooper was able to read more into Brand's comments and her emotions than she openly stated. When he questioned T.A.R.S. (the robot) about any relationship between Brand and Edmund, T.A.R.S. declined to answer, citing a discretionary protocol, leading Cooper to believe there was something. Brand also pushed for the team to land on Edmund's planet even though evidence showed that Mann's was the better prospect. Cooper strung different clues together and was guessing, but when he questioned Brand, she answered honestly.
Question: Just because Cobb knows how Mal's totem works, how does this mean her totem no longer works for her? Is it because Mal doesn't trust Cobb not to manipulate the spinning of her totem when they're in the same dream together? Or is it because somebody could manipulate somebody else's totem in a dream by accident just because they know how it works?
Answer: Cobb placed a thought in her head that her world isn't real. He intended for this thought to be applied to the limbo world they created, but instead it was applied to the real world. She simply cannot get the idea out of her head that she is still dreaming when in reality, she is awake. Nothing Cobb can say or do can convince her she is wrong, because the one safeguard they have (totems) has been broken because Cobb knows how it works. She simply thinks Cobb is the one with the problem, can't or refuses to wake up, and thinks Cobb is manipulating her totem to make her think she is awake when she is not. We never actually find out if she was wrong or right either :).
Answer: In order for a totem to work a person has to be 100% sure it wasn't manipulated by anyone else. If someone else knew what made the totem special you could never be completely sure someone else wasn't manipulating it. The spinning top itself is a bad choice for a totem anyway, since anyone who sees it being used should instantly tell what makes it special. Think about it like this: if you had to keep valuable information locked away in a safe and had to be sure that nobody could ever sneak into the safe, even someone you know and love, you would want a secure combination for that safe that nobody else could guess. If your combination was your birthday, how could you ever be 100% sure that nobody would ever guess the combination? Could you ever be 100% certain that nobody has looked in the safe?
Question: How would the train have been able to go back the same way with the ice on the lake cracking?
Answer: Because it's a magic train.
Question: How was Elijah getting out of his room in the first place? I know he has free roam of the facility after killing the guard and taking his keycard, but I don't recall the movie explaining how he was getting out earlier in the movie?
Answer: He's picking the locks on the doors, bypassing the keycards.
Answer: At one point, Elijah's mother mentions that he caught a glimpse of and instantly memorized a blueprint of the psychiatric hospital when he was first committed, and he used that knowledge to short-out the hospital's electrical system one time (before they started heavily sedating him). It seems likely that Elijah was able to somehow hotwire electronic door locks, using his knowledge of the hospital's electrical system. Later, he used a master keycard taken from the guard.
Answer: Not only that but, it was shown in the first movie that Elijah was very good at manipulating people so he could have convinced somebody to let him out.
Answer: The movie doesn't explain. But given what we know about Elijah from "Unbreakable" and this film, it's really no surprise he managed to find a way out - he's psychotic, but he's also a genius.
Question: Why did Tom drive himself and Danny into the lake in the end?

Answer: Dodge shot Ferriman, believing him to be dead. Ferriman was not dead, and he then killed Dodge. Ferriman then morphed into Dodge's form.
