The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe mistake picture

Continuity mistake: As Lucy, Peter, Susan and the Beavers trek through the snow towards Aslan, their shadows repeatedly change in consecutive shots, such as going from long shadows to their right, to hardly any, to long again.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Edmund speaks with the White Witch the first time, as he eats the Turkish Delight candy, the amount and pattern of powdered sugar that remains on his lips differs in the following shots, depending on camera angle. (00:31:10)

Continuity mistake: In the cemetery, the gash on Harry's left cheek changes depending on camera angle, such as during Priori Incantatem when Cedric says, "Take my body back..." and then when Lily says, "Sweetheart, let go..." (02:04:30)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Dumbledore wears a thin silver strand, with dangling silver balls, tied round his beard throughout the film, and the position of this strand differs in consecutive shots, depending on the camera angle. For example, when Dumbledore stands beside the pensieve, whilst speaking with Snape, McGonagall and Moody.

Continuity mistake: The amount of eyebrow hair, just over Moody's magical eye, differs in various consecutive shots of him throughout the film. It goes from some hair being caught under the casing, to all of it being over the casing, and vice versa; such as when he begins to feel the effects of the Polyjuice Potion diminishing, and he looks in the cabinet. (It is Moody's eyebrow over the casing, not a piece of fabric.) (00:25:20)

Audio problem: Before the start of the third task, when the champions make their appearance, the band is playing in the stands. The sounds of the bass drum are not entirely in sync with the girl who is pounding the mallets on that bass drum.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire mistake picture

Continuity mistake: After the Yule Ball, when Neville walks into the dormitory, his shoes hang round his neck by their laces. While he says, "You alright Harry?" in Neville's first close-up his black collar lies flat, the shoes' laces hang round his white shirt and the heels touch. In the second shot his black collar is flipped up around his neck, the shoes' laces hang round the black collar and heels are about four inches apart. Then, in the third shot it reverts back, as in the first shot.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When HRH are in the Great Hall, there is a toast caddy on the table in front of Harry. Certain pieces of toast disappear and reappear or rearrange themselves, depending on the camera angle, from the start of this scene when Harry dribbles on himself, through Ron's reaction to his dress robes.

Continuity mistake: During the Tournament's first task, Harry runs behind the large rock formation to hide from the Horntail. After he's summoned the Firebolt, as he's crouched down, there is a semi close-up of Harry, then it cuts to a close-up, and the position of his red and black hood on his shoulders noticeably changes between these shots.

Continuity mistake: When Ogilvy shouts Ray's name half a dozen times, Ray runs to him to quiet him down. The broken cellar window behind Ogilvy has shards of glass and red roots growing on it. Then in the next exterior shot, the shards of bloody glass are different size and shape, and the roots differ as well. (01:29:35)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Ogilvy shouts, "Ray! Ray! Ray..." in his cellar, Ray runs to him and there's blood splattered all over Ogilvy's face, but in the next shot the amount and pattern of the blood differs. (01:29:30)

Super Grover

Audio problem: After Ogilvy is dead, when the alien snakelike giant eye surprises Rachel she begins screaming. As Ray hacks away at it with an axe, she stands at the wall screaming, and when the last long scream is heard, her mouth is closed just before Rachel runs to the stairs. (01:34:30)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: In Ogilvy's cellar, in the close-up of Ray's hand, he holds it up to the red mist blowing through the two broken windows. In the next shot however, as Ray looks at his hand and realizes it's blood, the right window is suddenly blocked with a broken shutter and two pieces of wood. (01:29:15)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Whilst Ray is trapped in the upside down pickup, he looks through the windshield hole directly at Rachel, who stands on higher ground. In the next shot from behind Rachel, the landscape, wood fence, etc., to her sides are entirely different from the previous shot. (01:36:35)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Ray leaves Ogilvy's house to search for Rachel and soon runs into the pickup truck, just before the tripod's tentacle lifts it. The massive red roots growing all over the pickup are very different in the next shot, as it's lifted in the air. (01:36:20)

Super Grover

Audio problem: After Ray and Robbie's argument, as the soldiers drive by, when Rachel shouts, "Who's gonna take care of me if you go?" Robbie looks at Rachel and says something to her, but nothing is heard as the shot cuts away to Robbie picking her up. (00:50:15)

Super Grover
