Visible crew/equipment: While Lorelai and Luke are in the diner's storeroom, just as Lorelai makes a comment about not knowing what's going on in Rachel's head because she's not a Vulcan, the boom mic dips into view over the white container on the top shelf, at the top right side of the screen. Continuity mistake: After Rachel's 3 AM phone call to her pediatrician, when Rachel suggests using Dr. Gettleman she raises her left hand and points at Ross, but in the next closeup it's her right arm that's raised.

Continuity mistake: The door to Mrs. Krabappel's classroom has a window, but when Bart fakes being sick then walks out of the class (we see the desks as the door closes), the door's window has vanished, and the doorknob has switched sides as well. Additionally, earlier, when Bart deliberately falls off his chair in class, note that one of the bars on the back of his chair has gone missing. (00:07:35)

Continuity mistake: When Amy puts Gabe on the spot by asking if she's "really smokin'" for a pregnant woman, Amy strikes a pose with her water bottle in her left hand, but in the closeup the bottle is suddenly in her right hand.

Character mistake: When Bart fakes being sick, on his way to the infirmary he passes the door with a sign that reads "maintanence" but the proper spelling is "maintenance", and when Bart reaches the infirmary, the sign on the door reads "ineirmary." (00:07:30)

Continuity mistake: After Mrs. Krabappel asks Bart to name the pirate in Treasure Island, when it cuts to a closeup of Bart we see the set of blue books have vanished from Mrs. Krabappel's desk, and a Krusty mug has suddenly appeared there. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: When Bart fails the test despite having actually studied, we see the two red "X" marks in the center row of the multiple choice questions, but after Mrs. Krabappel passes Bart because he applied practical knowledge, when Homer hangs the test up on the fridge those two "X" marks in the center have vanished.

Continuity mistake: Bart's bedroom is on the opposite side of the stairs, with his window facing out to the backyard, but after his prayer his bedroom window is facing The Front of the house. Additionally, the style of his window changes as well, going from two horizontal sliding panes with no muntins, to a vertical sliding window with two muntins when Marge pulls the curtain back, then to a having only one muntin when Bart opens his window.

Continuity mistake: When Bart is called up to give his oral book report keep your eye on Bart's book, Treasure Island, and the direction of its binding. The book's binding should be to the left of The Front cover, which has the picture of a pirate wearing a black hat, but the binding changes to the right side (note the cover picture/title) of the cover at times, and when he mentions the publisher the book also changes how it's held by Bart. Continuity mistake: While Marge and Homer are watching the news on TV note their bed's footboard, then when Lisa angrily rushes into her parents' bedroom to confront Homer, the footboard's style is entirely different, but when Marge pulls Lisa away from Homer the footboard changes back to the original style.

Continuity mistake: When naked Bart skateboards past Wiggum's squad car, the vehicle does not have a partition screen between the front and back seats, a rear-view mirror, or a side mount searchlight, but in the following shots all have suddenly appeared, with other changes.

Continuity mistake: During the church scene, Martha Quimby is wearing an outfit with sleeves, but soon she's sleeveless, then back to sleeves, and finally sleeveless again. Behind Martha sits Bernice Hibbert, whose pearls also disappear and reappear.

Continuity mistake: In the wide overhead shots as the crowd starts gathering at the dome edge and when Russ Cargill's image appears, note the homes on the third block at the far left side of the screen, which change when Cargill says, "Believe me it's the last thing we wanted to do."

Continuity mistake: While Lex and Tim are hiding in the kitchen, when the large serving spoon falls it cuts to the closeup of the two Velociraptors and the tall shelving unit has vanished, but in the next shot when the one of the raptors leaps onto the counter that tall shelving unit is back.

Continuity mistake: After Gennaro runs off to hide in the restroom there's a shot of the fence cables ripping apart, and in the following shot of the back of one of the Explorers note that it's missing its black roof vent (and rear wiper), but in following shots of Explorers 4 and 5 the vents are intact on both vehicles. Then just as the T. Rex starts pushing Explorer 4 upside-down its roof vent is gone (presumably, the vehicle missing the vent is a stunt vehicle).

Continuity mistake: While they're in Explorer 5, when Ian shows Ellie an example of "unpredictability" her watch reads 5:00, then when Ellie examines the Triceratops' tongue her watch has sped forward and reads approximately 6:05, and a moment later when Dr. Harding hands Ellie the flashlight her watch has run backwards, and now reads approx 5:40. Continuity mistake: When both Explorer vehicles are parked at the paddock, in the shot of the goat being raised to lure the T. Rex, the "No! Feeding..." sign is permanently affixed to the front of the concrete wall, but in the previous and following shots that same sign is affixed to the angled top part of the wall. Later, when the power goes out, that sign is once again affixed to the front of the concrete wall.
