17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: In Mike's first class, when he sees Maggie walk in while on the cell with Scarlet, his left arm is either in front of him with his left hand up near his mouth, or his left elbow is on the desk with his head leaning on his left hand. The switch happens twice. (00:32:50)

17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: During Ned's attack on Mike, Ned pulls the rug out from under his friend, after which the rug lies bunched up on the floor near the front door. As the scene plays out the rug's position changes between shots, particularly after Ned kicks Mike in the groin when Mike falls on his back with the rug under him. (00:20:40)

17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: When Ned falls over the upstairs banister in his house, Mike leaps over and lands on the rug beside Ned's head. After Mike says, "I feel great," his feet are on the patterned rug, but next shot he is standing farther back - note the rug's pattern (just before Ned pulls it out from under him). (00:19:05)

17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: After Naomi and Scarlet head into the house to work on getting Scarlet back on the market, when Mike is driving in the rain the rearview mirror is gone, but it reappears when Mike runs toward the 'janitor' who disappeared from the bridge. (00:16:45)

17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: Before the '89 basketball game, in the first shot of Mike joining the cheerleaders on court, the bare chested guy wearing a Native American headdress is dancing beside the free throw lane, near the backboard. In the next shot that guy is now dancing half a court away, in front of the stairs opposite center circle (note the "Lets win" poster). The same thing happens a few shots later. (00:02:35)

17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: At the start, while the cheerleaders are doing their thing center court, before Mike joins them he is standing with his arm on Ned's shoulder, leaning on him. Then, in a shot of the cheerleaders he is seen in the background standing with his arms crossed, but when it cuts to a different angle he has his arm on Ned's shoulder once again. (00:02:20)

17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: In the gym at the start, when Mike is shooting baskets by himself (before the team photo) he is standing beside a 3-tier basketball rack, off which he grabs the basketballs for warming up. There is shot from behind him as he reaches for a ball and the top tier is empty, but in the next front shot the top tier is full, then as Coach Murphy walks in the top tier is empty again. 17 Again (2009)

Continuity mistake: At the start in the gym, when Mike is alone shooting baskets (before the team photo) he is standing at the center of the 3-point line, but in each of the overhead close-ups of the hoop we see Mike's reflection in the backboard (top right) and he is standing closer to the hoop, on the free throw line - note the dark free throw lane. (Only visible on DVD widescreen.) (00:00:30)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Continuity mistake: The morning of 'phase two: the take down', when Marty awakens at 6:45, in the close-up he lifts the snug ice-pack mask to his forehead, but in the next wideshot the mask has vanished though he hasn't touched it. (00:39:40)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Big Fat Liar mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Jason and Kaylee arrive in LA on Thursday, and phase one begins Friday morning, but during 'phase one: surveillance day', when Jason and Kaylee are at the stunt demo, Jason looks at Marty's iPAQ PDA and the date reads Sunday, June 4th (stunt demo noted between 12:30 and 1:30pm). Yet, when Vince, the stunt coordinator, tells Marty that he's taking the next day off (day of 'phase two') to take his granddaughter to a birthday party, the clown invitation notes July 28th as the day of the party. Then, on Saturday 'phase two: the take down', when Jason is seated at the bus stop he looks at Marty's PDA and the date reads June 22nd, the day of the 'Whitaker and Fowl' premiere and party. Go figure... (00:35:50 - 00:52:40)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Big Fat Liar mistake picture

Continuity mistake: During Marty's drive to the bogus address, when he is done speaking with Monty, just as he says, "Wolf out!" he pulls the phone wire and the earpiece actually pops out of his ear, but in all of the following shots that earpiece is still in his ear. Since the super-glued earpiece is one of the main plot points, this is bizarre to say the least. (00:44:25)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Big Fat Liar mistake picture

Continuity mistake: During phase four, when Marty opens the passenger door of Jaleel's speeding car he wears a baseball cap, but in the next wideshot his head is bare as he hits the ground and rolls - the baseball cap is gone, it didn't fall off. After a close-up of Jaleel, it cuts back to Marty and the baseball cap is back on his head just before it falls off, as he continues to roll. (01:06:40)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Continuity mistake: When Marty enters the home of the birthday party, there is a large area rug lying directly in front of the set of double French doors. In following shots, this large rug has moved closer to the front door (before all the kids jump on him) - note the table beside the French doors. (00:45:00)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Continuity mistake: Just after blue-Marty ends the call with Monty, in the shot facing Marty's car from the POV of the old woman's car just as Marty swerves to avoid her, Marty's window is rolled down, but in previous and following close-ups that window is rolled up. (00:44:30)

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Continuity mistake: When Jason writes his paper, we see the handwriting of the title "Big Fat Liar", etc. Later, in the limo when Marty finds the story and when Jason is in Marty's office, we see the paper again and the handwriting differs.

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Continuity mistake: When Jason writes the paper and then staples it, there are neat/short bits of paper at the side edge, where the pages were torn from the notebook (also visible after he slams into Marty's limo). Then, when Marty finds the paper, the entire left side edges are filled with much longer extra bits of paper. (00:06:50 - 00:09:55)

Visible crew/equipment: In the first step of phase four, after Frank's limo has "stalled", when Jaleel drives off with Marty who shouts, "Sayonara, loser," in the next shot and two shots later the reflections of a crewmember (wearing shorts) running backwards, other crewmembers, the boom mic, camera and equipment are all visible on the limo's surface.
