Continuity mistake: At the Three Broomsticks, when Slughorn spills the drink the foam by his fingers disappears, reappears, disappears, and so on.

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: In Potions class, when the students prepare the Draught of Living Death, as Harry tells Hermione, "Crush it, don't cut it," the way he holds/squeezes the Sopophorous Bean has instantly changed from the previous shot.

Commando (1985)

Continuity mistake: The style of Cindy's car changes when Matrix and Cindy are tailing Sully. Note the front grille with the center emblem that suddenly appears, the style of the headlight chambers that surround the headlight casings, as well as the two bumper guards that disappear and reappear. Obviously different vehicles. (00:30:30)

Continuity mistake: After receiving the sheriff's phone call, when older Walter drives toward his uncles' house, in the exterior shot the rearview mirror is gone, only to suddenly appear in the interior shot and when he gets out of the car. (01:37:20)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When the Acme Animal Movers deliver the lioness, the delivery guy standing on the flatbed has a glove on his right hand when he says, "King of the beasts," but in the overhead shot the right glove is off, then next shot it's back on again. (00:37:00)

Purple Giraffe - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: After Ted's Saturday night party (second of the three), when Ted, Lily and Marshall are sitting on the couch, numerous things change or suddenly appear behind them. Clothing is instantly on the back of the yellow chair and black chair, a wood chair appears, furniture moves, etc.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Harry finds Hermione crying at the bottom of the stairs, with the conjured canaries flying overhead, there are numerous leaves/debris on the lowest steps and near her feet, but in the shots looking down from the top of the stairs the area is clear. (This has nothing to do with the few leaves that blow about.)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When the Death Eaters whirl around Harry (grabbing the other students) in the Death Chamber, near the Veil, in the wideshots he is lying on the ground with his head upon his right arm, but in the previous and following close-ups his arm is lower and his head is lying directly on the ground. (01:53:20)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Harry brings Dudley home, just before he opens the door Petunia asks, "Diddykins, is that you?" and the plant fronds (beside the door) block the bottom of the photograph behind it, but in the next close-up the fronds are lower so the photo is more visible.

Continuity mistake: When Hagrid and Slughorn are drinking after Aragog's funeral, Slughorn's cup is considerably larger than Hagrid's (an effort to show size difference between Slughorn and Hagrid), and note when Slughorn holds his cup how large it is compared to his hand. But after Hagrid passes out Slughorn's cup is now the same size as Hagrid's cup - Slughorn's hand is resting on the table right beside the cup, which is now significantly smaller compared to Slughorn's hand. (01:50:05)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: At the Burrow, when Tonks and Lupin are at the front door with Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, it cuts to an exterior shot of Harry looking out the window with his arm leaning across his knee in front of him, but in the next interior shot his arm is down at his side.

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: During dessert at Slughorn's supper party, the napkins that hang from some (Belby, Neville, etc) of their collars change positions in consecutive shots. (00:56:50)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: During Mr. Weasley's celebrated arrival at 12 Grimmauld Place, in the wideshots facing that end of the table something tall is placed right beside the wood hutch, off to Ginny's left. In the shots facing the doorway, including when Harry joins them, there is nothing beside that hutch. (01:11:15)

Continuity mistake: When Harry and Dudley enter the tunnel, to Harry's left is the large graffitied name "Stark" and to Dudley's right is the graffitied name "Jim", which is directly opposite the "ta" in "Stark". When the Dementor holds Harry up by the throat Harry hangs well past "Stark", as the Dementor floats at an angle in front of "Stark". After the close-up of Harry's sneakers, in the wideshot, Dudley's silhouette (at the right, in the foreground) is off to Harry's left (viewer's right) staring to his left (precisely where Harry and the Dementor are positioned), which would put Dudley farther into the tunnel. But when it cuts to facing Dudley close-up, he's now standing in front of the "Jim" graffiti, which is off to Harry's right, closer to the entrance and he's still staring off to his left. (00:03:20)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: At the playground, when Harry sits on the swing his long shadow is cast directly in front of him as he watches a boy and his mother by the round-a-bout, which is also directly in front of him. Problem is their shadows, which are considerably shorter than Harry's, are cast to Harry's left. (00:01:05)

Jumanji (1995)

Continuity mistake: When Van Pelt shoots the tire shelf in the store, the attached red wood triangle support is actually different between shots - note paint and dings. Furthermore, dirt marks on the tires appear, and two of the slotted heads of the screws, that are screwed into the anchor eye plate, are turned facing opposite directions (before it breaks). Charmed (1998)

Continuity mistake: When Harry and Dudley reach the tunnel (out of the rain) Harry stands level with the "r" and "k" in the very large graffitied word "Stark", and Dudley is well past the large white graffiti to his right (viewer's left). The next shot, from the boys' POV, the empty tunnel is shown and on the left is the gratified word "Stark" and part of the white graffiti on the left, even though the two boys were actually just standing quite a bit farther into that tunnel. Audio problem: When Flitwick is leading the choir, just before Umbridge obnoxiously uses the tape measure to note his height, Flitwick says, "Move those mouths," but his mouth is not in sync with the words. (00:47:50)
