Continuity mistake: When Homer circles the dome on the bike, in the first two shots (close-up and wideshot) Homer's left hand is gripping Bart's left wrist, but in all of the following shots it is Homer's right hand that is gripping Bart's left wrist. (01:12:50)

Continuity mistake: After Sam knocks Mikaela off her moped, they are both on the ground right beside the moped when Bumblebee shows up, but in the overhead shot as Sam helps Mikaela up the moped is gone, not moved, just gone. (00:51:15)

Continuity mistake: When Sam's parents begin knocking on his bedroom door, Prime says, "Ratchet, point the light," and nothing is on the bathroom windowsill, but when Ron is searches Sam's bathroom with the flashlight there are two small overturned flower pots lying on that windowsill. The flower pots are gone again when Ironhide asks, "The parents are very irritating, can I take them out? (01:14:05)

Continuity mistake: When Prime lifts Mikaela up to Sam's bathroom window, there are two baseballs in acrylic display cases and another object (looks like a vintage camera) on the windowsill (beside the tub). Then when Sam runs to that window and sees the Autobots parked as if it were a "truckstop", all those items disappear and are replaced by two small overturned flowers pots. (01:11:55)

Continuity mistake: When Ron (holding a flashlight and lantern) is looking through Sam's bathroom window, saying, "Judy, better call the city. We got a blown transformer...," there is no windowbox under that window, which was there earlier. Yet when Prime says "Ironhide, you know we don't harm humans! What is with you?" the rather large windowbox full of flowers is back up under that bathroom window. (01:15:50)

Continuity mistake: Just as Mikaela comes to the rescue with the reciprocating saw, when she holds the saw up in front of her face just before she starts to hack away at Frenzy, the saw's blade clamp assembly is about 8-9 inches. After Sam kicks Frenzy, the saw on Mikaela's shoulder has a different configuration with a shorter blade clamp assembly unit. The blade differs as well. (00:54:25)

Continuity mistake: When Scorponok's tail is being examined aboard the transport plane, as it curls itself to strike, Epps jumps back with his hands up near his head, but next shot Epps's hand is positioned on the table for the dramatic near miss. (01:06:50)

Continuity mistake: Just as Gabriella and Troy walk into Gabriella's backyard, they put their belongings down on the table, with an Adirondack chair beside it and the second Adirondack farther away from the table, mostly out of frame. Next shot, when they sit on the hammock, that second Adirondack which was out of frame has moved forward, so the end of its arm rest is level with the table's corner. When Mrs. Montez comes out it's back to the way it was in the first shot. (00:37:20)

Continuity mistake: On the treehouse, when Troy helps Gabriella up during their song, "Chad's" red cape, which is draped to the floor, and Robo Rob are visible behind them on the windowsill. In the next shot as Troy removes his sweatshirt, only a bit of the cape is draped over and the toy has moved farther away from the window's frame. When they turn the corner, we can see that more of the cape is draped on the inside of the treehouse again. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: When Troy surprises Gabriella from behind he pulls her into the treehouse, and as they stand at the center holding hands, behind Gabriella is the brass bell (which is at the doorway they sat in front of earlier) and behind Troy are two model airplanes. In the next two shots as the ceiling opens, though the couple have not moved, now the airplanes are behind Gabriella and the brass bell is behind Troy, but they revert back to their original positions in the final shot inside the treehouse. Continuity mistake: Odd how Mikaela is not wearing her stud earrings when Sam leaves her to go to Bumblebee and she spots the tow truck across the street, and also when she arrives in the tow truck and says, "Sam, help me with this." Yet, she is wearing them between those shots, when she breaks into the tow truck and hotwires it, and in the prior and following shots. (01:55:25 - 01:57:25)

Continuity mistake: When Sam and Mikaela are in the SUV with Simmons, the look of the backseat of the vehicle, between the two teenagers, changes when Prime appears, and provides them with his version of a sun-roof.

Visible crew/equipment: When Sam tries to hand off the All Spark, the chopper is shot down by Starscream. When the chopper wreckage flies over Sam lying on the ground, the black protective gear is visible between Sam's pants and tee shirt. (02:05:45)

Continuity mistake: After Sam takes off running with the All Spark, heading for the building, Prime is shown driving down the street towards a collection of garbage bins. In the next shot, before Prime hits them, all the garbage bins are set up very differently. (01:59:45)

Continuity mistake: Before Barricade interrogates Sam, the Decepticon throws Sam on the windshield of a car, and a wheel falls off the car's roof, but then reappears back on the roof in a following shot.

Continuity mistake: While standing in front of a frozen Megatron, after Banacheck explains that Sam's great-great-grandfather made one of the greatest discoveries, Sam and Mikaela are shoulder to shoulder, but in the next back shot they are 4-5 feet apart. Audio problem: When Lennox is speaking to his wife via the PC, when we hear him say, "Oh my goodness, look at her. She's getting so big," there is no mouth movement whatsoever. (00:05:05)

Visible crew/equipment: At Hoover Dam, after the salute, when Defense Secretary Keller speaks with Lennox and Epps, the reflection of the white reflector screen is visible on Keller's glasses. What's more, the boom mic's reflection is actually visible within the reflector screen's reflection. Two for the price of one. (01:35:30)

Continuity mistake: The rather large hole at the back of Sam's long and short-sleeved tee shirts, that appears after Barricade interrogates him and he knocks Mikaela off her moped, changes size, position etc. There are other small rips around that hole that appear, disappear and change as well.

Continuity mistake: When Mikaela has Bumblebee at the back of Mike's Towing truck, she drives down an alleyway, and when she stops the truck in the close-up there is a trashcan and other debris between the front two tires, which vanish in the wideshot. (02:02:25)
