Super Grover

Trivia: A life-size bronze statue of Riff Raff dressed in the finale's space suit was erected in Hamilton, New Zealand in 2004, in a tribute to RHPS creator/writer Richard O'Brien. The following is inscribed on the plaque: "It's astounding! Where we stand is the birthplace of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. On this site stood the Embassy Theatre, the home of Hamilton's Late Night Double Feature show, and the barber shop where Richard O'Brien cut hair and daydreamed from 1959 to 1964." WETA Workshops, of Lord of the Rings fame, designed the statue.

Continuity mistake: When Giselle, Robert and Morgan are at Bella Notte's, on their table the pizza pan sits atop a chrome stand. In some shots the stand has a chrome cross bar, between its side legs at the base, and in other shots that cross bar is gone. (When setting up for the shots within this scene, the props guys simply turned the stand upside-down sometimes, which resulted in the cross bar either being on the table, or directly under the pizza pan thereby disappearing.)

Continuity mistake: At Bella Notte's, there is a pizza pie on table, whose characteristics such as sauce, crust, dough bubbles, three basil leaves, etc., change from the start of this scene to when it is hurled like a frisbee.

Continuity mistake: When Robert and Giselle are at Bella Notte's, there is a red checkered tablecloth on the table. The direction of the broad red lines changes between shots, in Chip's close-up when he stands on Gabrielle's plate. First it's horizontal, then vertical - note the knife and fork.

Visible crew/equipment: The reflector screen is reflected in Kelsi's eyeglasses, in many shots throughout the film.

Continuity mistake: When Giselle stands on the livingroom coffee table as she sings, the hutch stands about a foot away from the fireplace mantle behind her. When she tosses the flowers into the vase, which sits upon the fireplace mantle, the hutch is so close that it nearly touches the mantle.

Continuity mistake: When Gabriella joins Troy on the roof, she places her bag on the step before she picks Troy's tux. The bag's position changes throughout this scene.

Continuity mistake: When Taylor reads Gabriella's acceptance letter from Stanford University, the envelope behind the letter is positioned in Taylor's left hand vertically, but in the closeup the envelope is horizontal between both of her hands, and then it's back to vertical. Continuity mistake: Chad and Troy bring Zeke's dessert to Gabriella and Taylor, with orders to polish off the evidence, when the girls are working on the yearbook. The photos and papers on their desks change between shots.

Continuity mistake: As Jimmy and Donny stand on stage wearing only towels, the way Troy and Chad are holding the boys' clothing differs, depending on the camera angles.

Visible crew/equipment: After Gabriella and Troy convince everyone to stick with the musical, when Ms. Darbus asks everyone to line up she walks to stage left (viewer's right) and steps behind her white mark, on the otherwise clean stage floor.

Continuity mistake: After Kelsi signs everyone up, and they stand around the piano complaining, in the shots facing Gabriella she stands directly in front of the notepad, with her hands on the piano to the left and right of the notepad. In the shots facing Kelsi, Gabriella stands to the side of the notepad. This occurs between shots, particularly noticeable when Troy tells them he's in. (00:19:05)

Continuity mistake: When Tiara is at Sharpay's locker, she holds out the pink shopping bag with her left hand, but next close-up it's in Tiara's right hand.

Continuity mistake: When Gabriella and Troy are up in the treehouse, the three flower hair barrettes on Gabriella's right side form a triangle. Depending on the angle of the shot, the 'triangle' of flowers are formed with one flower at the top and two lower, or two flowers at the top with one lower flower.

Continuity mistake: When Troy and Gabriella are sitting in the treehouse, depending on the angle of the shot, Gabriella's upper body is turned more towards Troy, or is parallel to him.

Continuity mistake: After Kelsi signs everyone up for the Spring musical, when they all stand at the piano complaining, the notepad on the piano changes position depending on the angle of the shot.

Continuity mistake: When Coach Bolton confronts Troy about Juliard, and then when Troy is at East High at his locker changing into his Wildcat jersey, he is wearing dark boxers. When Troy is on the stairs singing "Scream", before reaching the cafeteria, his boxers are light blue.

Continuity mistake: At Riley's Garage, when Troy and Chad are about to rummage through the junk looking for the radiator cap, Troy raises his arms and his boxers are light grey, but next shot when he lifts the truck's hood his boxers are black. It's also noteworthy to mention that during "Boys Are Back," young Troy is wearing patterned boxers, though all other clothing is identical. (00:53:45)

Continuity mistake: When Minh is sitting on the ground surrounded by trash bags, the door is visible behind her, minus one doorknob. By the time Peggy sends Hank to the rescue, the doorknob reappears.

Continuity mistake: When Kahn drives up the alley, passing Hank, Bill, Dale and Boomhauer drinking beer, there are no door handles on either the front or back door in the close-up of his car, yet, oddly enough they appear later on in the wideshot.
