Alone (2020)

Trivia: Some/many on-line reviewers are asserting that this movie is a remake of the South Korean movie "#Alive", but the opposite is true. "Alone" was reworked for "#Alive", but "#Alive" was released a few months earlier than "Alone" (which may explain some of the confusion).

Mighty Oak (2020)

Other mistake: At the cemetery, Oak's grandfather told Gina that Valerie was "FIVE months pregnant with Oak" when the automobile accident occurred. A little later in the movie, Gina told Pedro that "Valerie was in the car, too, FOUR months pregnant with Oak." (Gina knew that Oak's birthday was four months after the accident and misspoke). Mighty Oak (2020)

Other mistake: Oak's last name is Scoggins, but the newspaper article about the fatal accident that his mother was reading on her laptop had "Skogens" in the headline. (00:15:29 - 01:15:24)

Mighty Oak (2020)

Other mistake: The toaster oven's timer rang and Oak opened the door and picked up two pieces of toast with his bare hands without showing the slightest hint that the toast or the toaster oven was hot. (The toast actually looked cold and hard). (00:11:15)

Unhinged (2020)

Revealing mistake: Tom drives at least two differently equipped Ford 4x4 Supercrew trucks. In particular, there are two different grille guards, with one being smaller and less protruding than the other, as well as less-menacing looking. Although inconsistently used, the switch to a grille guard that can cause less damage is used at the gas station when Tom runs into the guy who tried to help Rachel get away from him and when ramming the rear-end of Rachel's Volvo. One truck has fog (or running) lights below the grille guard, making the two differently-equipped trucks more noticeable/discernable.

Unhinged (2020)

Other mistake: In the angled side view of Tom sitting in his truck behind Rachel's Volvo at the gas station, a light-colored car appears from the rear of Tom's truck and can be seen going past Tom's side mirror. A car this close at the angle it was traveling would most likely be headed straight toward and smash into the white building across the street from the gas station. The car should be running parallel to Tom's truck; it is too far away from the intersection to go onto that crossroad. (00:31:24)

Unhinged (2020)

Stupidity: The guy who offered to help Rachel go to her car at the gas station and get away from road-raging Tom walked directly in front of the path Tom would be taking to leave. When the guy realised Tom was going to run him over, he went onto the road instead of toward the store where he would be safer. Also, the guy - knowing Rachel's situation - foolishly told Tom that he got his plate number, which served to aggravate Tom into driving into him. (00:32:15)

Revealing mistake: The boards around the window on the house that got hit with a falling tree fell off separately - individual boards were not connected enough to stay attached. As each board fell, the "wall" around the window could be seen and it was so thin (no thick frame) that it was obvious the house (or that section of the house) was a prop. The roof also seemed far too damaged to be "real" - there was a huge hole in the roof but the falling tree did not have long enough branches to cause that large of a hole. (01:17:20)

Continuity mistake: Grandpa did not get a lot of soda/pop sprayed on his shirt or Santa hat - most went onto his face. However, the "wet area" of his shirt becomes much larger after he left the table. Not too long afterwards, the "wet spot" on his shirt looked much wetter, then soon after he falls down holding onto the ladder it's drier. Also, the white fur around his Santa hat stayed almost dry (or dry) despite being on his head when the soda/ pop (can shaken by Peter) sprayed all over Grandpa's face. (01:15:30 - 01:15:53)

Audio problem: When Peter is sitting next to Grandpa in front of the fireplace, he has several consecutive lines when he's seemingly reading off a cue card, and his mouth movements (or lack thereof) do not match the audio. (01:25:00 - 01:25:21)

American Dream (2021)

Yuri: I mean, you work your ass off, you can make it here. You know, make money. Money gets you power. Power gets you respect. Respect gets you even more money, and all that money gets you a beautiful wife - who just wants a bigger house.
Scott: [Laughs] That's a problem I'd like to have.

American Dream (2021)

Yuri: There are people in this world who have a lot of money, and sometimes that money needs to go somewhere else then come back again. They just need to pay taxes somewhere. Investing in small business let's them cut that tax in half. You'd be surprised how many people ask if they can invest in my businesses sight unseen. "Here's the money, have it back to me by such and such a time." It's completely legal. There are people, people we know, who still think the best way to make money is get one over on the government. It's Old World thinking. (00:23:50)

After We Collided (2020)

Tessa: What's your favorite book?
Trevor: "Principles of Economics" by Alfred Marshall
Tessa: No, it's not.
Trevor: Yes, it is.
Tessa: No, I mean, like fiction. Like a real book.
Trevor: I don't do fiction. I mean, have you seen how I dress?
Tessa: You heathen!
Trevor: Heathen?
Tessa: You heathen. Fiction is an escape from reality. It's a way you can live a hundred lives, or even a thousand.
Trevor: I don't need to live 1,000 years, OK, and I'd rather watch paint dry.

Continuity mistake: After Mr. Butler uses tongs to put salad on his plate, he takes a second scoop - but the first scoop has disappeared and his roll has moved (about 90°) on his plate. (00:06:10)

Revealing mistake: Grandpa holds the can of soda/ pop at about a 45° angle when he is going to pull the tab. Robert De Niro, playing Grandpa, is placing the can in the position needed for the carbonated contents to spray all over his face. (01:13:05)

Zeroville (2019)

Other mistake: The Burglar (while tied to a chair and talking about "My Darling Clementine") says, "Apex of Ford's art, you feel me?" Vikar (James Franco) responds, "I feel you." The movie starts in 1969, but rapper E-40 (Earl Tyrone Stevens, Sr.) - "slang master" - supposedly created the expression "you feel me" in the early 1990s. (00:19:53)

Unhinged (2020)

Continuity mistake: Rachel's hair and the amount/location of loose strands of hair are quite inconsistent throughout the movie. The gas station/ convenience store scene, in particular, shows a lot of variation while inside standing by the cash register. Strands from her hair (not really bangs) go diagonally across (from right to left) her cheek and sometimes down her neck or even to her lip. Strands of hair also hang down from in front of her ear and the back of her neck (while hair is tied up in a bun). Almost every time the camera returns to Rachel, the messiness of her hair (dangling strands over her face and neck) changes. (00:28:28)

Unhinged (2020)

Continuity mistake: As Rachel approaches the gas station, the road is divided by an intermittent yellow line, but it is a solid yellow line when Rachel is getting into her car to leave. The road also varies in wetness, sometimes being quite wet but other times dry (er). A quick change from wet to dry occurs when Tom runs down the male customer who tried to help Rachel. Other mistake: Mr. Butler is in Lucas' bedroom, finds a small (4"?) camera, and plays the part where Lucas is setting it up in the classroom to (hopefully) film Becca putting moves on Mr. Butler. Mr. Ward (Lucas' father) is standing in the doorway several feet away and cannot possibly see what is on the small screen, but asks if the girl on the tape is the one who died. (01:07:25)
