Dog (2022)

Revealing mistake: A dog would not be able to jump through a vehicle's window and land on shattered glass covering the rear seat without getting its paw pads cut. The shattered "glass" that Lulu was standing and sliding on appeared to be ice. (01:07:29)

Dog (2022)

Continuity mistake: The patch of dirt/mud that Briggs had on the left side of his face near his eye when he woke up tied to a chair in Gus' barn disappeared and reappeared (in a different shape) a few times (e.g, when he knocked over his chair, when he stood up, and when he was inside Gus' house). Assailant (2022)

Character mistake: Erin, a nurse, looked at Jason's bruise in the woods and said, "It's really hard to tell what it is. I mean, could be internal bleeding." Technically, ALL bruises are caused by internal bleeding (but the bleeding doesn't break through the skin). A nurse should know the possible signs/symptoms of internal bleeding (the serious type), such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, loss of balance, change in vision, low blood pressure, etc. and the nurse should have at least checked for a rapid heartbeat. Assailant (2022)

Factual error: Henry appeared to punch Jason higher on his left side and more toward the back than where the bruise was later shown to be (closer to his waist). More significantly, the bruise quickly changed colors from red/blue-purple to the entire large area being bluish-purple and deep purple. However, bruises typically take at least one or two days to change to deep purple. (00:45:55 - 00:49:19)

Assailant (2022)

Continuity mistake: The angle (from diagonal to more horizontal) and appearance (from bloody and jagged to a continuous thin line) of the cut on Zoe's forehead changed within a short amount of time. (00:47:16 - 00:47:43)

Zeros and Ones (2021)

Other mistake: Valeria put the teakettle on the gas burner right before JJ buzzed to come into the building. About a minute passed until JJ got inside and more than a minute passed until Valeria went to check on her child. Valeria never returned to the teakettle. More than enough time had passed for the teakettle to whistle that the water was boiling, but no sound came from the small adjacent kitchen. (00:17:02 - 00:19:17)

Boyhood (2014)

Continuity mistake: The house number is 6101 but 6301 is on the step leading to the sidewalk/house. Later, when they are moving, the house number is 6301 and the number that was on the sidewalk is some kind of indiscernable pattern (not distinct numbers). (00:02:20 - 00:08:34)

Zeros and Ones (2021)

Factual error: The aerial view close-up of the large dome at the Vatican seems to lack features and isn't an exact replica based on on-line photos of the actual building/structure. The two smaller domes on the sides also are not visible due to darkening of the background. Other structures in front should be visible at that angle but are not. (00:15:26)

Phil (2019)

Revealing mistake: When Phil approaches Michael's grave, water ("rain") has already accumulated only in front of the grave. When Phil is kneeling by the grave, streams of "rain" fall behind him and in front of him, but not directly on him. (00:25:03)

Phil (2019)

Trivia: "Ouzo" is a Greek anise-flavored liquor (which is sweet and tastes like black licorice). At about 40% alcohol or 75-90 proof, it is potent at producing a type of drunkenness that "creeps up on" the drinker. (00:18:06)

Phil (2019)

Continuity mistake: Phil put 7 bottles of "Ouzo" in his basket (and left two on the display). When he was driving away, there were 11 bottles of "Ouzo" in the box on his seat. Also, when Phil was drinking on the bridge, the "Ouzo" was dark-colored (but "Ouzo" is clear or cloudy white). (00:15:32 - 00:24:14)

Spencer (2021)

Continuity mistake: Diana used wire cutters to deliberately cut her left upper arm, about 3" from her underarm. When she went to the mirror to wipe it, the cut looked bigger (not just from blood) and was about 2" lower on her arm. Afterwards, there was little to no sign of the cut. (01:16:37 - 01:20:52)

Witch Hunt (2021)

Factual error: Teenagers Claire and Fiona would have been carded and not permitted to enter the "Saints and Sinners" bar because they were under age 21, but they were able to sit at a table and get served alcohol. (00:51:37)

Superintelligence (2020)

Continuity mistake: During Carol and George's "non-date outing", the lime slice on George's glass changes positions, starting toward his right and moving toward his left (ending up on the opposite side). (01:00:43)

Superintelligence (2020)

Continuity mistake: A large-screen TV was on the wall opposite the staircase when Carol and Victor reached the top. Part of a small high window (above the lamp) could be seen near the top of the TV screen. When the camera shifted to the opposite side of the room, the TV temporarily transformed into a large window with floor-length drapes. (00:48:02)

Superintelligence (2020)

Other mistake: Based on where Carol is standing near the top of the stairs of her new apartment, more of the couch behind her should be to the left of the screen (like it is in a later shot). (00:48:10)

The Card Counter (2021)

Stupidity: Instead of breaking into Gordo's house, covering all the furniture in one room with sheets/thin blankets, and waiting for Gordo to return home in order to kill him via a "dramatic re-enactment" (in an adjacent room which was not shown to the audience), Bill could have taken Gordo anywhere to avoid getting caught or calling the police on himself. Had Bill taken Gordo to his already-"wrapped" motel room, he had enough injuries after the fight to claim self-defense against an intruder. (01:43:20)

Dismissed (2017)

Trivia: Mr. Butler submits an application to the non-existent "Demme University" in California. Perhaps writer Brian McAuley and/or director/producer Benjamin Arfmann was/were paying a tribute to film director/producer Jonathan Demme (1944 - 2017)?

Dismissed (2017)

Trivia: Lucas told Principal Fermont that Mr. Butler gave him an "F" on his midterm grade report even though he got "A"s on all of his assignments. But Lucas actually got a "B+" on his "Othello" paper. Pathological lying is a major characteristic of psychopathy (although Lucas would be diagnosed with a "conduct disorder" if he was under 18-years of age). (00:23:55 - 01:03:35)

American Underdog (2021)

Factual error: Kurt Warner worked in the Hy-Vee grocery store in 1994. The Wheaties box he took off the shelf featured Dan Marino #13, which was available in 1995. A 1994 Wheaties box featuring the NFL 75th Anniversary Collectors Edition had a different design and color. Unless Kurt also worked in the store into 1995, the Wheaties box he held in the movie was not yet available. (00:39:50)
