Good Boys (2019)

Revealing mistake: In music class, the position of Max behind Lucas would not enable Max to see Lucas' face to know he was crying or ask "what's wrong?" In this part of the scene, Max appears to be green-screened and his eyes are focused too far left of the back of Lucas' head (not just face); he would be lucky to be able to see a part of Lucas' left ear. Good Boys (2019)

Character mistake: At the skate park, Thor said he wasn't into girls because "girls are a distraction." Thor was interested in going to Soren's party because a lot of the popular boys were going to be there. When the "spin the bottle" landed on Thor, he said he couldn't kiss Brixlee and went upstairs. Hannah and Lily came home and told Thor it was OK that he wasn't ready for a kissing party and still had a lot of time before becoming interested in girls. Max previously told Thor that he wasn't as mature (sexually developed or undergoing puberty). Therefore, Thor's statement in the cafeteria about his new earring - that he "wasn't going for cute", he was going for "sexy and hot" - was incongruent and incompatible with his character.

Trivia: The music teacher, "Mr. K", doesn't have a listing for his full last name. In schools, only the first letter of a teacher's last name may be used when the name is very long (many syllables) and/or difficult to spell or pronounce. However, knowing that there is a "K" [ketamine] or "Special K" and Mr. K incorporated the use of drugs in a middle-school performance and apparently took a "sniff" of something in celebration of his "masterpiece" - the "K" appears to be symbolic. Moreover, the actor playing "Mr. K", Matt Ellis, is known for his voice-overs for (among others) two double-K names: Kotaro Katsura and Kyosuke Karasuma.

Revealing mistake: Benji was talking to Hannah in the back yard near the swimming pool and many feet away from Hannah's house. Eventually, a large white beam or horizontal area appears behind Benji's head. Although this doesn't make sense, it apparently is meant to be the overhang of the house. Benji was too far away from the house to be "under the overhang" plus the overhang is not nearly that wide. (00:19:40)

Factual error: A medical examiner or coroner (or other physician) typically determines cause of death, so unless Father Moody had a medical degree, his statement to Mr. And Mrs. Lisbon - he "listed Cecilia's death as an accident" - would not be official. It also isn't revealed exactly where Father Moody made such a listing.

Suggested correction: It wouldn't be necessary for the death certificate to list "accidental death", only for the priest to do so for church records so she could be buried in a holy cemetery.

Other mistake: Exterior views of Buffalo Bill's house showed the house was not very big and his yard space was limited. The amount of rooms, their sizes, and hall space purportedly in the basement were too excessive to believably be under that house. (00:49:20)

The Wretched (2019)

Other mistake: The way the girl managed to remove Ben's underwear when they were standing in the swimming pool was unrealistic (too fast and without Ben moving enough). (00:31:28)

Trivia: After posting Obama signs in yards, Mason Sr got into his car and told Mason and Samantha, "Look, I'm a patriot, all right?" He drives away but the camera stays fixed on the now-visible Jeep parked on the opposite side of the street. This appears to be showing another kind of "Patriot" [Jeep Patriot], but it is actually a Liberty. (01:02:59)

Stupidity: Liv was a graduate psychology student when she met Bill and, after marriage and being physically abused, knew that the leaving Bill put her in a (potentially) very dangerous situation. It is best if the abuser does not know where the victim is "hiding" after separation, but Liv brought along Carol to pick up the kids - and they were going to be staying at Carol's house.

Suggested correction: She brought Carol along as a chaperone/protection when she picked up her kids. She didn't announce to Bill that that would be where she was going to be staying, she only told her kids that when they had already driven away from the house. Bill didn't seem to know who Carol was anyway. Even if he did manage to find out where she went, she could have easily got a restraining order against him.

Phaneron

It is more likely that she brought Carol along for emotional support and to act as a witness. If she were looking for protection, she would have used a police escort. It was implied they were going to be staying at Carol's, but, even if not, Carol's presence offered Bill a hint of where to start looking for Liv, and there should not be any leads. Liv unwittingly put Carol in a potentially dangerous situation - if Bill went to Carol's looking for Liv, and Carol truly did not know where she went, Bill would insist that she did and threaten or do worse if Carol didn't tell him. Remember how Bill drilled all the kids about where Liv went, checked their phones, accused Sam of knowing more, then got them into the car and drove like a maniac? Bill has a temper and propensity toward violence (at least when drinking, which he did everyday). Court orders take time to get, but are not very effective. Numerous women who had restraining orders against abusers ended up six feet under.

Continuity mistake: The campfire's distance from the tent does not stay the same. When Mason and Mason Sr are roasting marshmallows and making S'mores, the campfire is close to the tent. Overnight, the campfire looks about the width of two tents away. In the morning, the campfire is close to the tent again (less than the width of the tent). Mason Sr's boots are outside of the tent in the morning, but he did not wear boots when walking through the woods the day before - he was wearing brown (hiking?) shoes with black trim and laces. Mason Sr's clothes also change from walking through the woods (t-shirt and shorts) to evening (red/gray checked shirt and shorts) to morning (red/gray shirt and jeans). During this time, Mason's clothes stayed the same until morning when he put on a different jersey. (01:10:27 - 01:11:40)

Continuity mistake: The art/photography display at UT and the background change a few times when Mason is removing his photographs and talking to the woman. The photos along the right side of the display disappear. After Mason removes two of his photos, it doesn't look like the third one is still posted, but after the woman leaves it is visible. The backside of pictures show up through the metal display some time after Mason removes the first two pictures (but were not there when he first removed his pictures). A lot of people are moving around in the background when Mason and the woman are talking and two girls in blue shirts were there the entire time, but when the woman walks away the people in the background are gone. The Minus Man (1999)

Continuity mistake: Compared to the original location of the lamp when Vann entered the bar, none of the shots showing a portion of the lampshade would be accurate. The close-ups of Casper show a portion of the lampshade too close and at the wrong angle. When the camera shows front views of Casper and Vann, the lamp should be visible but is not. A back view of Casper shows part of the lampshade to her left, but doesn't fit where it was located before this. Likewise, a side view of the bartender does not include the lampshade. A later shot of the bartender shows a portion of the lampshade and part of the jar of pickles, which is now in front of him, up too high, and can't be on the edge of the bar. In an apparent attempt to use the lampshade for continuity, it was used way too much and rarely, if ever, at the right angle, height, and position. (00:04:16 - 00:05:50)

The Minus Man (1999)

Continuity mistake: When Vann enters the bar, his view shows the bowling pin tap near the center of the bar, with the jar of pickles behind it centered on the bar, and a lampshade some distance past the bartender (or possibly on the innermost edge of the bar). When Vann is walking along the bar before he sits near the far end, the pickle jar is now touching the outer edge of the bar close to Casper's elbow resting on the bar, and the lamp is on the bar close to the bartender. Trivia: "I Am Number Four" was supposedly going to be the first movie in a series stemming from the "Lorien Legacies" books but did not do well enough at the box-office ($150 million gross with a $50 million budget, making it about $400 million short).

Continuity mistake: Ben overslept so grabbed a green T-shirt off his bed and got into the truck where his dad was waiting to drive to work. At work, Ben changed into his blue polo work shirt. When Ben was leaving work, he had a green/yellow/white checked short sleeve shirt over the green T-shirt, but he did not have the checked shirt when he went to work. (00:21:44 - 00:24:54)

Revealing mistake: The barbells rigged to go down the split rails/ramp to hit the thieves trying to break into the garage do not stay on the rails like they should yet still roll straight down. The weights on the left side of the screen get out of alignment (off-track and almost derail) right after reaching the top of the ramp. For a while, it looks like the weight is sliding on the side of the ramp and then isn't even touching the ramp. (00:59:45)

Continuity mistake: The vent cover in the upstairs bathroom looking down into the wine cellar is different compared to looking up to it from the wine cellar plus the two views cannot be of the same vent. In the upstairs bathroom, the vent is white (or off-white), is low on the wall (which is also white), and has a more elaborate design. Looking up from the wine cellar, the vent is blue, on the floor/ceiling, and has a simpler design. (00:50:25)
