Only part of the back of the chair can be seen and it is not directly in front of the Monsignor, but there is not enough room for the seat part to be there (otherwise, the Monsignor could not be standing where he is). The damage from the earlier explosion on the 4th floor could be seen in the lower left-hand corner. However, there were only two floors between the damaged floors [putting Orlando on the 7th floor] when there should have been five. IF the 4th floor was actually the 4th floor, there were not enough floors above it for the bank to be on the 12th floor. (01:20:44)

Factual error: Although the helium balloons moved some of the time, they did not move other times when they should have. The balloons next to Kim moved when Orlando came in the door and when she walked out the kitchen and stood next to them, but later did not. The helium balloons near the window did not move when Orlando walked by, but they did move when he backtracked. The red balloons on the chair did not move, but - even if not helium-filled - should have moved when Orlando walked past them. (00:02:32)

Character mistake: Captor put a bomb under Orlando's desk chair and told him to hack into the bank and transfer $2 million into an account. Orlando responded, "If I get caught, I'm facing 20 [years in prison]." Captor's death threats to Orlando and his family members plus the actual bomb under Orlando's chair are more than enough proof of duress or coercion - legal defenses to engaging in a crime. Continuity mistake: The position of the towels used on Demi's shark-bitten upper left leg changed and/or did not match what the characters said was being done (but was not shown at the time). For example, a green (or blue) and white towel folded lengthwise was to be wrapped around her thigh (above her knee) to exert pressure. Revealing mistake: After the shark got Lisa, Annie climbed atop her overturned kayak and was lying with her stomach about mid-way on the kayak with her feet over the back sides. The kayak was not long enough for Annie to have her body on half of it; her legs did not look real (odd-shaped and disproportionately short/CGI). When Nic got to the kayak, Annie's toes were on top of the (overturned) kayak instead of her feet hanging over the sides. (00:36:21)

Annie had almost one-half a glass of wine when she poured some into Nic's glass, then it was closer to one-fourth full. The exact number in the movie is questionable (due to their speed), but appeared to be well over the maximum 13 and perhaps closer to double this amount.
