Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020)

Other mistake: I don't think enough is known about the mating and birth habits of Great White Sharks to label this a factual or character mistake. Emma said, "Sharks return here each year to feed, mate, and give birth." I don't think sharks mate and give birth in the same location plus females give birth every 2-3 years. After mating (in deep water away from humans), the male and female go their separate ways and the female apparently gives birth close to the coast (shallow water) for the pups' protection. Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020)

Stupidity: Dr. Emma Collins and Shaw were in the water with Sally the Great White Shark. Emma put her right hand over Sally's nose and pushed her back. Sally swam forward and Emma pointed her index finger at Sally's nose then pushed her back again. Emma told Shaw, "If you stay calm and redirect" and "Don't try this at home" before Sally pushed Emma with her nose on Emma's stomach and rammed her into an underwater object. Emma was the instigator, goading a Great White Shark. Emma could have been killed. (00:05:10)

Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020)

Other mistake: "Sally" the Great White Shark rammed Emma into a rock (or other hard object) underwater and Emma only got a small cut above her right elbow. It isn't clear how fast Sally was swimming, but Emma was rammed with force (and appeared to hit her back). A female Great White Shark weighs about 4,000 or 5,000 pounds, so Emma would be expected to suffer a major (not minor) injury under the circumstances. (00:05:24)

Breakthrough (2019)

Continuity mistake: In church, Mrs. Smith was seated at the aisle, John was to her right, and Mr. Smith was next to John. After John stood up, he was standing next to the aisle and his mother was not there. In a wide view two seconds later, Mrs. Smith is sitting next to the aisle and John and Mr. Smith are to her right again. Also, when John was standing at the aisle, he was very close to the pews on the opposite side, but when Mrs. Smith was sitting next to the aisle, the aisle was about three times as wide. Breakthrough (2019)

Factual error: Three details were omitted on the Miller's car's license plate: the month was missing in the upper left-hand corner; a "15" (2015) sticker was missing in the center of the plate; and, "Show Me State" was not written at the top below "Missouri." (00:16:46)

Revealing mistake: Jon is part of Shane's pack/tribe, but his face/image is visible in his rear view mirror when it should not have been. (00:57:00)

Factual error: Edgar's license plate is "FROG BROS", but California only permitted up to seven digits at that time. It wasn't until 2014 when eight or nine digits were permitted, but even then only in "very rare cases." (00:27:40)

Other mistake: Jon's vehicle does not have the front license plate that is required in California. (00:57:23)

The Fanatic (2019)

Revealing mistake: The five dollar bill that was tossed toward Todd's bucket but landed on the rim and hung over the side was obviously fake (not legal tender). (00:18:20)

The Fanatic (2019)

Other mistake: Moose was narrating what he was writing in his second letter to Mr. Dunbar. There were 64 words, 12 more words after "P.S.", then "Love, Moose." A view of his finished letter showed it was way too short to have included everything he supposedly wrote, and the expected format did not match. (00:26:20 - 00:27:10)

Continuity mistake: After Willoughby wrapped a necktie around Don's wrist and crossed the ends to hold it together, it fell apart when Don lowered his arm. But the necktie was securely wrapped when the camera shifted to showing Don putting his arm around Willoughby's back. (01:36:40)

The Poison Rose (2019)

Continuity mistake: The cards in Doc's [Morgan Freeman] full house overlap when Mary Sue says, "Doc wins. Full house beats a straight", but the two Queens closest to Doc are separated from the other cards when Doc says, "Mary Sue, cash those chips in for me." (00:20:02)

The Poison Rose (2019)

Continuity mistake: Dr. Mitchell's tie was sticking out below the back side of his shirt collar when he approached the front desk but not a few seconds later when he was turning to see Carson or when the receptionist was handing him a doctor's white coat. Dr. Mitchell's tie extended below the back collar again when he was putting on the white coat. (00:09:15)

The Poison Rose (2019)

Deliberate mistake: Carson's [John Travolta] cat Raymond did not appear to be in the pet carrier when he was running out of the building to his car or when walking to his office and placing the carrier on the desk. (00:02:15 - 00:03:30)

American Hangman (2019)

Character mistake: The judge also told Hero that if the jury found him guilty of killing Ron, he "would be put to death." This is not necessarily true. Offenders convicted of capital crimes can be given life or other sentences. In states where juries decide the punishment, they do not have to sentence the offender to death. (00:31:39)

American Hangman (2019)

Character mistake: Hero asked Judge Straight what should happen to him for killing Ron. The judge replied, "Well, then you should be arrested, incarcerated, indicted, and tried." "Incarceration" is used to refer to long-term confinement of offenders who have been convicted and sentenced. Instead of incarcerated, a judge should know that if a defendant is denied bail (typical for capital crime cases), he would be DETAINED in a jail or detention center while awaiting trial. (00:31:20)

American Hangman (2019)

Plot hole: The judge was reading from a newspaper that had "New York" and 2015 on the last page, suggesting this is the movie's setting. The article states, " The murderer of the Jeeter girl was executed this morning..." (six years after his conviction in 2009). New York's death penalty was ruled unconstitutional in 2004 and 2007 and is considered abolished. (Although the law remains on the book, it cannot be implemented until/unless it is revised/ rewritten to be constitutional). (00:16:11 - 00:33:28)

American Hangman (2019)

Revealing mistake: Although the background scenery in the basement (behind the judge and Ron) changes with camera views, what is shown rarely (if ever) corresponds to the correct size and angle/location that would be expected. For example, the file cabinet in the corner behind Judge Straight shows up in different places, some very close to him and others at a distance; its size is not proportionate. Sometimes, the brick wall is directly behind the judge but to the right (of the screen) at other times. (00:03:28 - 00:11:29)
