Good Boys (2019)

Other mistake: At the playground across from the school (Friday morning), Lily demands that the Good Boys give back the Molly pills. After Thor informs the other Good Boys that Molly is a "sex drug", Lucas screams to the girls, "You had us bring f-ing drugs to a playground? There are children here." Actually, Max was the one who told the girls to meet at that location. Max may not have been aware of the drugs, but he - more so than the girls - was responsible for picking the location. It is also noteworthy that Max and Hannah were neighbors. They could have easily agreed to make the drone-for-purse swap early that morning before going to school. Without Lucas, Thor, and Lily present, there would not be Lucas' concern that the girls might "trick or overpower" them. Max would have the drone back in place before his mother or sister noticed it was missing, he would not have to keep it safe all during the school day until he got home, and Lily would have her phone, driver's license, etc.

Good Boys (2019)

Other mistake: When Max finally kisses Brixlee, a green screen is understandably used to show kids watching in the background. However, it is a giveaway - Taylor's eyes, in particular, aren't quite focused on Max and Brixlee... or anything else there.

Good Boys (2019)

Continuity mistake: When the boys go into the woods to "sip a beer", the background changes several times. Most noticeably, there is a graffiti-painted wall or boulder that is clear, colorful, and directly behind ALL the boys on at least two shots. In other shots, the wall is completely missing, only partially visible, or very pale and at an angle.

Good Boys (2019)

Continuity mistake: At the skate park when the camera is on Max, Thor, and Lucas (in that order, on their bikes), the background changes a few times. The houses (which might change) and cars passing on the road show that the road is closer or further away and/or at an angle. People behind Max disappear but reappear in the same spot with camera changes in direction. When Max rides his bike a little ways to talk to Taylor, the pavement changes in color (painted areas).

Good Boys (2019)

Continuity mistake: The amount of orange soda/pop in Lucas' glass decreases and increases at least twice even though he didn't drink or add any. (00:09:13 - 00:09:42)

Running on Empty (1988)

Stupidity: Paul Manfield (Arthur Pope) and his family have been hiding from and eluding the FBI for fifteen years, but Paul gets so intoxicated one night that he loudly sings "Pretty Woman" walking toward his house - where neighbors could hear - and yells that he is not Paul, he is Arthur Pope. (00:52:18)

Suggested correction: People do seriously stupid things when they are drunk, and Manfield/Pope is very, very drunk.

Running on Empty (1988)

Continuity mistake: Michael Manfield (Danny Pope) walked to the Phillips' house for the in-house music presentations, but on his way home when he was sitting by the lake, his bicycle was on the ground. There was no indication that he had gone home first - he was throwing away the hat he took from Lorna's room, and he was still wearing a tie. (00:38:51 - 00:42:52)

Other mistake: After Bobby finds his father dead in bed, police officers bring him to the Glover's house, and he starts living with them full-time. Days later, when Jonathan and Bobby come out of school and are walking toward the parking lot, Jonathan sees the VW beetle and says, "You took your dad's car!" Jonathan should already know what Bobby did because they live together. (00:21:29 - 00:23:12)

Stupidity: Dr. Horniker (MD, PhD) advised Mr. And Mrs. Lisbon that Cecilia could use a kind of "outlet outside the codification of school" and should "interact with males her own age." The Lisbons did arrange a party for Cecilia, but the boys who were invited (or came) were somewhat older. Cecilia, at age 13, would be in Jr. High School. Tim and Parkie were 16-17. Chase looked a little younger than the other boys, but none of the boys were really "males her own age." Had the boys been 12-13 or even 14 and Cecilia's older sisters not present, Cecilia may have a better experience - and not jumped to her death during the party. (00:07:35)

The Minus Man (1999)

Factual error: The story takes place in the Pacific Northwest (Vancouver) in November and December. Washington may be known as the "Evergreen State", but there are still numerous deciduous trees - and deciduous trees have leaves that change color in Autumn (yellow, orange, red) and then shed (fall off), not stay green through December or into the new year.

Trivia: Brad Dourif ("Stan") and Jeremy Sumpter gave some input to first-time director Steele about the "look" of their characters (and maybe names?). Interestingly, the character played by Jeremy is "Jarod LEARY." Detective Fairchild's first name is "MATT." Matt O'Leary starred with Jeremy in "Frailty."

Other mistake: There is no explanation or even hint as to how Jarod was able to get Rick's bowling ball out of his locked car trunk, or how Jarod even knew that Rick was at the bowling alley. (01:00:34)

Other mistake: Jarod is the newcomer to a school in Florida. David Valentine is an established jock at the school who bullies Jarod, but he drives a truck with California plates. (00:42:58)

Visible crew/equipment: When Jarod goes into the basement for the first time, the shadow of what appears to be a suspended microphone can be seen swinging pendulum-style. (00:29:47)

Continuity mistake: The scars on Stan's face don't look the same from one scene to the next, or often within a scene. They vary in size, depth, intensity, and even location. At times, some seem to be missing.

Continuity mistake: In the classroom, Jarod leaves with Detective Fairchild's business card in his right hand and accidentally (maybe deliberately) left the "Death and Cremation" book on the floor. Courtney picks up Jarod's book, apparently with the intent to give it to him the next time she saw him. Later, Courtney is reading the book and finds Detective Fairchild's business card between pages (like a bookmark). If this was meant to be the one the detective gave to Jarod, it can't be. (00:50:41 - 01:01:05)

Other mistake: In the bathroom scene where bullies were beating up Jarod, David Valentine "finished" by making the hardest direct blow to Jarod's left cheek near his eye. Afterwards, there was no visible injury to Jarod's left cheek; the injury was on Jarod's right cheek. (00:34:54)

KeyZOid

Other mistake: The object thrown (beer can?) at Jarod from the passing truck did not hit him above the neck at the bottom of his head (where his injury supposedly was). The object was thrown with an arc to give the appearance of hitting Jarod on the head, but landed closer to his left shoulder blade. (00:32:28)

Super 8 (2011)

Deliberate mistake: The scenes involving the 8mm projector and screen did not also contain legitimate light rays from the projector to screen or show any obstructions on the screen despite Joe or someone else between the projector and screen. What showed on the screen is what would be expected if using a videotape or DVD.

Super 8 (2011)

Trivia: When Donny was driving Joe and friends to the school, he said he could "get back into disco." The events in "Super 8" happened around the first week of June 1979. The "death of disco" is dated by many to July 12, 1979 ("Disco Demolition Night") - the month after the "Get the Knack" album (with "My Sharona" on side 2) was released.
