Saw V (2008)

Character mistake: When Erickson is telling Strahm that he no longer has any jurisdiction over the Jigsaw case, he mentions that over a dozen dead bodies were recovered at the meat packing plant, including two cops. There were in fact only 10 dead bodies: Danica Scott, Judge Halden, Timothy Young, Jeff Denlon, Lynn Denlon, Jigsaw, Amanda, Art Blank, Officer Rigg, and Detective Matthews. (00:20:28)

Continuity mistake: When Lykos transforming into Kazar, his wings tear out of his jacket sleeves, and are incorrectly colored the same brown as the jacket. A couple of shots later, his wings have disappeared and don't form again until his entire jacket is torn off. (00:07:13)

Trivia: Chris Potter, who voiced Gambit in the animated series, was brought in to audition for the role of Cyclops. By his own admission, he didn't want to play the character, and wanted to hold out and play Gambit in a live action role, feeling that Gambit would finally appear in the next installment following the release of every film. Potter for his part admitted he was too old to play the character by the time he was finally adapted to live action in 2009.

Other mistake: When Adam is saying to Dr. Gordon "What I saw was you get into your car, that's it," Leigh Whannell's natural Australian accent slips through on the last two words. (01:18:09)

Saw II (2005)

Question: Why would there be a tunnel system with an industrial bathroom beneath a house in a neighborhood? I know John Kramer was involved in real estate with his wife and lawyer before he became Jigsaw, so it would make sense that he probably designed it, I'm just not sure what purpose it would serve.

Phaneron

Answer: It serves as the perfect location for John to set up and play his "games."

jacrispy

But it was mentioned in Saw IV that John was involved in real estate development prior to becoming Jigsaw. So if those tunnels already existed underneath those houses, what purpose would they serve?

Phaneron

Unless the houses were built on a former industrial unit which would explain the tunnels and industrial bathroom. But it wouldn't explain why they were left there when the houses were built.
