I'm Gonna Be Like You, Dad - S7-E14

Continuity mistake: When Topanga, Shawn and Angela are hanging out in Cory and Topanga's dorm anticipating Cory's return from the doctor, the slice of pizza that Angela is eating goes from having a small bite taken out of it, to being halfway gone, and back to having one bite taken out of it. Family Trees - S7-E12

Other mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Eric talks about how Alan's Navy background will cause him to use any means necessary including torture to find out about his birthday party. Cory chimes in and states that Alan was a cook in the Coast Guard. The plot of the Season 1 episode Kid Gloves concerned a necklace Alan gave Cory for his birthday, which Alan himself earned for placing second in his weight class for boxing in the entire Navy. So either Cory doesn't correctly remember his own father's military background, or the show needlessly retconned it. (00:00:43)

What A Drag! - S7-E11

Stupidity: When Eric, dressed in drag, tearfully sits down next to Topanga, she asks him if they know each other because she doesn't realise it is him. Topanga's known Eric practically her entire life, and she is one of the smarter characters on the show. Given that Mr. Feeny instantly recognized that Eric and Jack were dressed up as women, Topanga should have recognized it immediately as well. (00:10:40)

Suggested correction: This is a comedy show and this scene is played for laughs. A character not recognizing another character in drag when it is obvious to the audience has been a joke for centuries. Also, on a realistic level, recognizing faces has nothing to do with intelligence.

BaconIsMyBFF

There's a difference between not recognizing someone you might barely know and being fooled by an obvious disguise worn by someone you've known for 20 years. I fully acknowledge that this scene is played for laughs and that this is a common trope used in movies and television, but the fact that the show went out of its way to show that Mr. Feeny instantly saw through their disguises demonstrates that show itself acknowledged how ridiculous his disguise was, and it was foolish on Topanga's part for not seeing through it.

The Honeymoon is Over - S7-E9

Factual error: When Cory and Topanga first enter their new couples dorm, they discover it to be a dump. The entire dorm is filthy, cabinets are falling apart, there are large bugs crawling on the floor, and there is no clean running water. Student housing laws would require the university to restore the dorm to liveable conditions before any student could move in. If the health department saw the conditions of the room, the university would undoubtedly be fined for failing to take corrective action. (00:07:45 - 00:10:36)

The Honeymooners - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: When the voice on the intercom is saying "Paging Dr. Chocolate Pudding," Cory's right hand is on Topanga's right arm, and her hands are in her lap. When the shot changes, both of his hands are suddenly resting on his stomach, and her right hand is suddenly resting on his left leg. (00:07:23)

They're Killing Us - S7-E6

Revealing mistake: When Eric picks up Cory to show him the "For He's A Jolly Good Fellow" dance, Cory screams that Eric is going to knock over the candles, upon which one of the candles on the desk is knocked over and sets fire to the curtains. If you look closely, neither Eric or Cory bump any of the candles nor the desk they are on, the candle just tips over on its own, suggesting an off-screen crew member used wire or string to pull the candle down. They're Killing Us - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: When Morgan is telling Topanga that she wouldn't use her bridesmaid's dress to wipe her ass, she gets cut off by Alan who covers her mouth with his left hand and then begins dragging her out of the reception hall. When the shot changes, he is covering her mouth with his right hand. (00:17:22)

Question: This movie takes place around 10 years after the show and was filmed around 12 years after the show ended. Why then do so many of the characters look like they have aged 20 years in that time? I understand a hard lifestyle can age a person, but could it be that drastic?

Phaneron

Answer: The actors are over a decade older, and older people age at an increasingly faster rate than when they were young. The film may also have been been filmed differently opposed to how the TV series was made. Different technology and types of film produce variations in color, shadowing, sharpness of detail, etc. that may show the actors' physical features in higher definition. Different make-up and lighting can also change the actors' appearances. This may or may not have been a deliberate choice, but it's the result. If the movie was intended for theatrical release (possibly for overseas markets) and not only to be aired on TV, it would have higher-quality production.

Justice League (2017)

Answer: Darkseid's minions killed a Green Lantern. The humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans were the ones who were actually strong enough to fight off his forces.

That '90s Show - S19-E11

Trivia: Homer's songs "Shave Me" and "Margarine" are parodies of Nirvana's "Rape Me" and Bush's "Glycerine" respectively. "Weird Al" Yankovic's parody of "Shave Me" is a reference to his real-life parody of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
