You Only Move Twice - S8-E2

Trivia: Homer becomes the owner of the Denver Broncos at the end of the episode, much to his chagrin as he preferred to own the Dallas Cowboys and the Broncos are bumbling. In real life, the Broncos won two consecutive Super Bowls not long after this episode aired, while the Cowboys have been mediocre at best since.

Trivia: David Hasselhoff, who has a brief cameo in this film, previously played Nick Fury in the 1998 made-for-TV movie Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. He had hoped to play the role again in the MCU, even feeling that his portrayal was superior to Samuel L. Jackson's.

Trivia: Donald Glover, who plays Aaron Davis, uncle to Miles Morales, was actually one of the inspirations for Miles Morales in the comics. Glover had previously campaigned to be given the opportunity to audition for the role of Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man, reasoning that there's nothing that says Spider-Man couldn't be portrayed by a black actor.

B.D.O.C. - S6-E7

Trivia: The title of this episode is an initialism for "Big Dick on Campus." Although numerous episodes of this series had titles that were double entendres, the network censors apparently felt this one was a little too risqué.

Trivia: "The Imperial March" - also known as "Darth Vader's Theme" - sounds strikingly similar to the 1932 song "My Woman" by Lew Stone and his Monseigneur Band.

X-Men (2000)

Trivia: In the comics, Mystique in her true form wears a narrow white gown. The reason she is practically nude in the films was because it made it easier for the special effects team to morph her into other characters. Rebecca Romijn has said that wearing nothing but prosthetics and blue body paint was liberating.

Wayne's World (1992)

Trivia: After Wayne makes the "cream of some young guy" joke in Benjamin's apartment, there is an awkward pause between everyone. This pause was strategically placed there after test audiences laughed at the joke so hard that no-one in the theater heard the next few lines of dialogue.

Wayne's World (1992)

Audio problem: When Wayne plays the "May I help you?" riff on the black guitar to get the clerk's attention, he ends the riff by manipulating the whammy bar. However, rather than the "scooping" sound that comes from manipulating a whammy bar, the sound heard is actually trilling (rapidly alternating between two or more notes on the same string).

Dexter: New Blood (2021)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: It is stated multiple times that forensics reports showed that the Bay Harbor Butcher used ketamine to incapacitate his victims. However, it wasn't ketamine that Dexter used in the original series, but rather M99.
