Question: This movie takes place around 10 years after the show and was filmed around 12 years after the show ended. Why then do so many of the characters look like they have aged 20 years in that time? I understand a hard lifestyle can age a person, but could it be that drastic?

Phaneron

Answer: The actors are over a decade older, and older people age at an increasingly faster rate than when they were young. The film may also have been been filmed differently opposed to how the TV series was made. Different technology and types of film produce variations in color, shadowing, sharpness of detail, etc. that may show the actors' physical features in higher definition. Different make-up and lighting can also change the actors' appearances. This may or may not have been a deliberate choice, but it's the result. If the movie was intended for theatrical release (possibly for overseas markets) and not only to be aired on TV, it would have higher-quality production.

Justice League (2017)

Answer: Darkseid's minions killed a Green Lantern. The humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans were the ones who were actually strong enough to fight off his forces.

That '90s Show - S19-E11

Trivia: Homer's songs "Shave Me" and "Margarine" are parodies of Nirvana's "Rape Me" and Bush's "Glycerine" respectively. "Weird Al" Yankovic's parody of "Shave Me" is a reference to his real-life parody of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

No Such Thing as a Sure Thing - S7-E4

Revealing mistake: When the family is eating dinner, throughout the scene you can see Jack dabbing his fork into his mashed potatoes and raising the fork to his mouth with little to no potatoes on it in order to give the illusion that he is eating. (00:03:57 - 00:05:05)

Angela's Men - S7-E3

Question: In this episode, Shawn enlists in the Army and is even given a uniform complete with a name-tag bearing his last name. Later in the episode, Staff Sergeant Moore affirms that Shawn is not going to be in the Army because he likes him and doesn't want him anywhere near the Army. Can a recruit just be dismissed like that? Even if he was eventually rejected, wouldn't he have to at least be entered into basic training first? Would a Staff Sergeant even have the clout necessary to unilaterally dismiss someone from their enlistment?

Phaneron

Answer: I'm a little fuzzy on the episode, but the uniform could be just part of the ROTC program they were in. They were the same uniforms with minor alterations.

For Love and Apartments - S7-E2

Other mistake: When Cory is trying to get Topanga's parents to reconcile, Topanga's mother mentions to her ex-husband about the "beautiful child they've made." Given that she says "child" in the singular, this can only refer to Topanga. However, the season 1 episode She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not established that Topanga had an older sister named Nebula. So the mistake is that either the show is acting like a character that was firmly established never existed, or Topanga's mother doesn't realise she has at least two children. (00:15:32)

For Love and Apartments - S7-E2

Character mistake: When Shawn is scolding Topanga for getting angry with Cory for travelling to Pittsburgh to try to get her parents back together, he mentions that he travelled a hundred miles to do so. Philadelphia is roughly 300 miles from Pittsburgh. Travelling only 100 miles westward from Philadelphia would barely get them past Hershey. (00:17:53)

Trivia: This is the third film in the X-Men franchise to make reference to the villain Mr. Sinister, following X-Men: Apocalypse and Deadpool 2, by way of the Essex Corporation (Nathaniel Essex being Mr. Sinister's real name). The logo for the Essex Corporation is a diamond, similar to the ones Mr. Sinister has on his forehead and chest in the comics. Unfortunately, since this is the final film in the Fox X-Men franchise, Mr. Sinister himself never made a physical appearance in any of the films.

The Bottle Deposit (1) - S7-E21

Question: When Jerry is driving back from the auction, there's an audible clicking sound coming from his engine, which he later discovers is caused by Newman and Kramer putting groceries under the hood. This sound effect is used in a lot of movies and TV shows to indicate a car is breaking down. Do cars actually make this sound in real life or is it a sound effect made specifically for movies and TV. If they really do make that noise, what exactly is the source of the noise? (00:07:35)

The Blood - S9-E4

Revealing mistake: When Kramer is driving his Tupperware full of blood in Jerry's car, you can tell by how rapidly The Blood is oscillating that it is just red-colored water. As the saying goes, blood is thicker than water, so actual blood wouldn't oscillate that rapidly, especially when it had just been pulled from a freezer. (00:18:20)

My Baby Valentine - S6-E16

Other mistake: Early in the episode, Amy mentions that she is 7 1/2 months pregnant. This episode takes place around Valentine's Day, which means she would have become pregnant at either the end of June or the beginning of July. However, she revealed she was pregnant around the time Cory, Shawn and Topanga had their senior prom, which would have been around the end of May or beginning of June at the latest, prior to their high school Graduation. So she should be around 8 1/2 months pregnant at the least.

Audio problem: When the waitresses are performing their song, you can tell they are lip syncing to a recording even though they are supposed to be giving a live performance. Road Trip - S6-E15

Character mistake: When Sarah the waitress is filling up Cory and Shawn's coffee cups, she puts hardly any coffee in them, with Cory's barely being a couple of drips. A waitress that works on tips wouldn't be so lackadaisical about filling a customer's coffee cup. Cory and Shawn just sat down as well, so it's not like she was just topping them off. (00:02:58)
