X-Men mistake picture

Slave Island - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: When Gambit tries to grab the gun, Cable stops him by placing his left foot on top of it. When the shot changes, it is now Cable's right foot that is on the gun. Additionally, yellow lane dividers in the middle of the road disappear when Gambit first reaches for the gun, and then reappear a couple of shots later. (00:12:15)

The Relic (1997)

Question: Why was the relic being shipped to the Field Museum in Chicago via boat? What would be the point of sending the relic to the United States and then placing it on a boat and shipping it to Chicago by way of the Illinois River? In the book, the museum is instead located in New York, so it makes sense for the shipment to arrive by boat from South America, but there would be no possible way to get to Chicago straight from South America by boat, so the relic had to have been on land at one point. Placing it on a boat just seems like a contrived way to have the monster kill the crew members and create a mystery for the police as to how it happened.

Chosen answer: Cost of shipping would be much cheaper. However, the Mississippi River System is connected to the Illinois Waterway, which continues to the Great Lakes Waterway. This means Chicago is connected to the Gulf of Mexico (which is accessible to South America). There would be no need to ever be on the road.

Die Hard 2 (1990)

Trivia: When being played on basic cable or regular TV, John McClane's catchphrase "Yippee ki yay, mother fucker!" is sometimes oddly redubbed as "Yippee ki yay, Mr. Falcon!" Falcon is the call sign for General Esperanza's original flight, which half explains the odd wording.

Trivia: Jeremy Ratchford, the actor who voiced Banshee, would go on to portray the same character in the 1996 made-for-television film "Generation X."

X-Men (1992)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Audio problem: When the giant wave of water from the burst dam is heading towards Cable, Hodge and the Leader, Cable begins laughing maniacally. After the wave crashes down on them and floods the area, you can still hear Cable laughing even though he should be submerged underwater. (00:19:25)

X-Men (1992)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: When Cable shoots his exploding plasma blast at the conference table, the blast is shown coming through the window from a downward angle. However, the tree branch that Cable is subsequently shown to be using as his vantage point is lower than the window, so the blast could not have come at a downward angle. (00:14:45)

X-Men (1992)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Other mistake: After Cable shoots his exploding plasma blast at the table that Gyrich, Trask, Hodge and the Leader are sitting at, the former three all evacuate the area while the Leader is still shown to be sitting at the table only a moment before it explodes, but he does not suffer any ill effects from the concussive blast or wooden shrapnel. X-Men (1992)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Audio problem: When the decapitated Sentinel body crashes to the ground, the sound of it crashing against the concrete is too soft for its size. It sounds like something slamming against a metal appliance when it should sound more like a car crashing into a wall, only louder. (00:13:50)
