Continuity mistake: When Gambit throws a kinetically charged playing card at the White Queen, Wolverine is directly behind him, and Beast is behind him and to his right. A couple of shots later when Pierce has lifted Gambit by his collar, Wolverine has disappeared and Beast approaches Gambit from his left. Wolverine then reappears in his original spot after Pierce throws Gambit at Beast. (00:19:09)

Other mistake: When Dick and Sally are playing with the cat toy in the kitchen, they make a lot of joyous noise while doing so. When the shot changes, we see Mary coming up the stairs to a completely silent home, and she can't seem to locate anyone until Harry pulls her into the closet. The kitchen is only a few feet away from the stairway, so not only should Dick and Sally's voices have still been very audible, but at the very least, Sally should have been in Mary's direct line of sight. Question: If Jonathan and Mr. Ages were the only mice to survive the escape from NIMH, then where did all the other intelligent mice come from? Did one or both of them father a new generation of intelligent mice? Mrs. Brisby's marriage to Jonathan makes this all a little confusing.
Answer: What other intelligent mice? I have watched the movie many times and I don't remember seeing any other intelligent mice. The mice that tried to escape with the rats were sucked down the ventilation shafts, so we don't know what happened to them.
Well, Mrs. Brisby for one, and by extension, her children. She wasn't part of the experiments at NIMH, so why does she possess human intelligence like Jonathan and Mr. Ages? Similarly, why do Jeremy, Auntie Shrew and the Great Owl have human-like intellect as well?

Trivia: According to French Stewart during a 3rd Rock from the Sun reunion Q and A at the 2021 Vulture Festival, he and Joseph Gordon-Levitt could never get through the scene where Harry spits baby food at the baby without the two actors breaking character and laughing hysterically.

Trivia: A revival of this series was announced by Hulu in January 2023, with the surviving cast returning. The release date is still to be determined, but would likely be in 2024. Writer Brent Forrester revealed in an AMA for Reddit that they feel the Trump presidency made the show relevant again.

Other mistake: When Dennis Rodman sees Harry, Tommy, and Sally at the hardware store, he addresses all three by name and asks what they are doing on Earth. If he didn't previously know they were on Earth, then he couldn't have known they were going by those names, as they chose those names after arriving at Earth. Harry even mentioned in a later episode that the names Tommy, Dick, and Harry were chosen by chance when they saw the phrase "Every Tom, Dick, and Harry" written down.

Answer: Mrs. Brisby tells Nicodemus that Jonathan had been teaching her to read and her children as well. The children were better at reading that she was but that might be something that they inherited from their father. I think Mr. Ages was also able to read so that makes him intelligent as well. Remember the injections that the mice and rats were given also gave them the ability to read.
