Out of the Past (1) - S3-E1

Trivia: The basketball game between Gambit and Wolverine was inspired by X-Men, Volume 2 #4 which depicted a game of basketball featuring Gambit and Jubilee vs. Wolverine and Rogue (which Gambit dominated). Wolverine and Gambit's game attire is even the same they were wearing in the comic.

Mojovision - S2-E11

Trivia: One of the women tending to Longshot in his dressing room when Mojo is firing him is Dazzler, who would make her first official appearance on the show in the season 3 episode "The Dark Phoenix Saga Part 1, Dazzled" although with a different hair color. Longshot and Dazzler were a romantic item in the comics.

Trivia: The show contained numerous references to the Terminator film series. Several episodes such as "Time Fugitives" and "One Man's Worth" (also "Days of Future Past," but that was based on a pre-Terminator comic) featured one or more characters traveling into the past to prevent an event that causes a dystopian future. The robots from Cable's future bear a resemblance to the T-800s. When Mr. Sinister's body is blown to bits in "Reunion, Part 2" it begins to reassemble itself exactly like the T-1000 when it was frozen and then blown to bits. Wolverine even refers to Bishop as Mr. Terminator in the episode "Days of Future Past, Part 1." Another Schwarzenegger movie, "Total Recall", is referenced in "Time Fugitives, Part 2" when Cable uses a hologram of himself in order to bait someone into shooting at him.

Continuity mistake: The glove on Magneto's right hand disappears after Mr. Sinister blasts him in the back. (00:17:20)

Other mistake: Ka-Zar refers to Xavier by name despite only having just met him and Xavier never telling him his name. He even asked Xavier who he was only moments before. (00:09:19 - 00:10:17)

Continuity mistake: When Wolverine and Jean Grey are being shuffled in to their television program, Wolverine's face is yellow. (00:15:35)

Plot hole: Spiral comes into the Earth dimension through the multiple television screens, teleports all X-Men members present to Mojoworld, and then retreats back into Mojoworld herself the same way she left. When the action shifts to Mojoworld, Rogue is among the captive X-Men despite the fact that she was not among the ones Spiral abducted. (00:07:10 - 00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: When Cyclops and Storm are about to be shuffled in to their television program, Jubilee can be seen standing between Wolverine and Storm, despite the fact that she was not among the X-Men that were abducted by Spiral, nor is she seen again for the rest of the episode. Continuity mistake: When Rogue is crashing through several levels of the mansion, the last one she crashes through is Storm's greenhouse and you can see through the windows that it is light outside. When she crashes through the ceiling of the mansion a split second later, it is suddenly dark outside. (00:08:15)

Other mistake: After Rogue knocks Gambit over, Gambit is in the foreground and Rogue is in the background. Despite this, the heel of Rogue's right boot appears in front of Gambit's left foot. (00:06:32)

Continuity mistake: Bishop is shown trying to disperse the crowd at the quarantine site. When Cable appears on the rooftop ready to snipe him, Bishop is shown walking among the crowd. When Cable relents, Bishop is back trying to disperse the crowd. (00:06:15)

Continuity mistake: When Wolverine slashes through the fence, Gambit and Bishop can be seen already running towards the fence while Cyclops, Jean Grey and Beast stand behind. When the shot changes, Gambit is the last person to run through the hole in the fence with Cyclops, Jean Grey and Beast ahead of him. (00:17:40)

Continuity mistake: After Storm informs Cyclops that a mob is attacking Bishop, a shot of the rest of the team in the Blackbird shows that Gambit's neck is flesh colored when it is supposed to be black from wearing his headgear (this is corrected when the scene is reprised in the next episode). Trivia: War Machine (the supporting character from Iron Man) makes two brief cameo appearances in this episode. The first is in Cable's future after Cable tells his team that they aren't retreating. Whether or not the person inside the armor is James Rhodes or why he is a servant of Apocalypse is not explained. The second is when he is watching the Senate committee on TV along with G.W. Bridge and Nick Fury. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: When Pierre is waiting for Gambit in his boat, there is another boat next to his. When he and Gambit take off, the second boat has disappeared. (00:07:55)

Trivia: When Wolverine is explaining Omega Red's back-story to Colossus, a picture of Captain America is briefly visible. This is a nod to the comic books, where Omega Red was the Soviet Union's attempt to create their own super soldier similar to Captain America. (00:14:05)
