Scream 2 (1997)

Stupidity: The campus is on lockdown, police has been roaming the premises, but the killer can just turn on the lights of theater building, turn up the speakers, and nobody except the main characters shows up for it.

Scream 2 (1997)

Continuity mistake: At the dorm, Sid and Allie hop in the cop car with Sid in the left backseat and Allie in the right backseat. In the following scene they have swapped. (01:24:25 - 01:25:50)

Scream 2 (1997)

Other mistake: When Gale and Dewey are being naughty in the VCR room, Gale spots some of the footage the killers took of the victims. One of the clips features Maureen and Phil in line in front of the cinema, but not only the shot is basically an impossible one since it's shot from a car and in the whole scene there were no cars in the street, but also the movements of the two actors are entirely different from the ones in the opening scene during that line about "a bio." Scream 2 (1997)

Continuity mistake: Dewey removes a VHS from the VCR. The VHS has a black spine. A minute later they begin getting jiggy with it and in the shot from the front of the desk (the rear view of Mrs. Cox, if you prefer) you can see on the VCR a white label on the spine. (01:17:10)

Scream 2 (1997)

Continuity mistake: Once Gale tells Dewey "I feel bad, Dewey. I feel really bad!" and it cuts back to the previous camera angle, the sunlight behind her (where Joel's taxi is and then was) changes abruptly. (01:14:25)

Continuity mistake: To reach Poirot, Hastings walks through the Acapulco airport with two ladies (one with a white jacket, light blue skirt, updo, carries a large brown suitcase, and another one with short hair, glasses, white trousers) that are both in front of him AND behind him, depending on the camera angle. (00:01:30)

Continuity mistake: Poirot met Ariadne Oliver who invites him to the "murder hunt." Poirot and Hastings then get on a boat to head there. As they sit on the boat, there are a few extras, led by an easily identifiable lady in a yellow sweater, that move up the stairs of the pier and reach the top. The boat slowly takes off, and about 10 seconds later we see the pier again, with again those same people from before just reaching the top of the stairs. (00:02:25)

The ABC Murders (2018)

Episode #1.3 - S1-E3

Factual error: On the train, Franklin Clarke is perusing the racing news. The episode is set in 1933, but the horses mentioned in the page he's reading, such as Astley Wood, Garcette, Incense Boy, were active only years later, racing in Bath (the programme he's looking at) in 1938-39. (00:34:00)

The ABC Murders (2018)

Episode #1.3 - S1-E3

Other mistake: After the arrest of "ABC" and a brief scene with the interview to Betty's family, there's a prolonged close-up of a newspaper with the date "24 April 1933." Besides the article on the serial killer, there's a headline that says "German ministers in Rome - Uproar as Strong Arm men pack benches." The body of the article though talks about the Persian parlament, and the prime minister mentioned is "Dr. Mossadeg." Mohammad Mossadegh's public office as PM and his visit in the US mentioned in the article happened in the 50s.

The ABC Murders (2018)

Episode #1.3 - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Poirot is talking to the owner of Twinkle Toes and confirms that indeed the victim was strangled with his merchandise. The man listens with his fingertips adjoined and pointed towards Poirot, but when it cuts to his response ("Poor kid") his left hand is partially in frame and in a different position altogether. House of Gucci (2021)

Factual error: When Patrizia Reggiani signs cheques on her father's behalf, the bank that issues them is "Banca di Credito Colli Briani." Reasonably enough, is a completely made up name for a bank, but also bizarre because "Colli Briani" would be a toponym ("Briani Hills") but does not match any name in Italy - at most "Colli Briantei", which would be the Brianza region, not far from Milan where the story takes place. No other names of places or people in the rest of the movie are fictional. Moreover, the cheques don't have the number of the account they are associated with, and they are out of order. (00:03:40)

Evil Spirit of the Diving Pool - S1-E18

Continuity mistake: 14-years old Kindaichi comes up with the solution of the case but gets interrupted as he is about to utter his catchphrase. In the scene, the bookmark is in the top half of the book next to him, the bottom half when we see his mother scolding him. (00:12:00)

Scream 2 (1997)

Deliberate mistake: It's a humorous twist that Randy's killing is covered up by some random guys passing by with a ghetto blaster, but there was dead silence when Randy was talking earlier; not being in frame does not block soundwaves. (01:05:15)

Scream 2 (1997)

Continuity mistake: When Randy is jumpscared by the guy playing football (something the killer couldn't predict), in the aerial shot the football dude is standing on the crossroad that is fully in the shade instead of partially in the sun like before the cut. The two girls Randy harassed are also gone from their spot, which means in 5 seconds they packed their books and stuff they had laid out in front of them. (01:03:30)

Scream 2 (1997)

Continuity mistake: When the cameraman says he's "one verb away from vacating these premises", there's a blonde with a green backpack walking left to right in the background. The same blonde appears two shots later behind Randy, who is further to the left than Joel. (01:01:45)

Scream 2 (1997)

Character mistake: Dewey says that it does not make sense that the killer, who at this point is characterized as a copycat of the Woodsboro team, attacked Sidney. Actually that's exactly what happened in the first Scream; after Casey and her boyfriend, Ghostface tried to kill Sidney. Dewey should know since he was the first responder on that call doing a puppet show at the door, and it's not only amazing that he wouldn't remember, but also that nobody corrects him and that they haven't run a timetable of the previous events at all. Of course in the end the pattern does not matter just as Dewey later says, but up to that point, the killer was following it to a T, so they are reaching the conclusion too early and against the evidence.
