After some theological discussion the guy throws a barber gown around her neck to start working; there are at least two passersby reflected in the mirror as it happens. Continuity mistake: Jasira is crying in her mothers' arms at the airport. When the mom tells her that it's all her fault, a lady with a patterned open overshirt walks behind their row of seats. Several seconds pass, and when she mentions Chewbacca, the lady is making her appearance in frame again. (00:01:50)

Continuity mistake: Valeria went to the first meeting with Alberto Rak at his place. In the following scene her mother Amalia enters her apartment bringing breakfast. Continuity mistake: For a second time in the movie, someone buzzes June on the intercom. She tries to overcome her fears and get out of the apartment, but can't. She shuts the door, leans with the left hand on the doorframe by the chain, and lowers her arm. In the next shot, Naomi Watts is breathing deeply still with her hand by the chain. (00:06:05)

Factual error: When the high-ups at the Pentagon are looking at the profiles of the terrorists, Ulrika's profile contains a minor spelling mistake ("Americas" instead of the possessive form), but the fun is in her henchman's file. The guy is named "Grigori Babishkova", which is laughable since "-ova" is the female suffix for Slavic last names, he should be "Babishkov." The Nationality field lists him as being "Russian/Caucasian." Caucasian is not a 'nationality'. (00:05:05)

Factual error: After warping back from Iscandar, Kodai looks out of the window. Yuki Mori points him where Earth is. A moment later, he responds to the hailing signal saying that they are now 420,000 kilometres from Earth. Considering that the distance between Earth and the Moon is about 385,000km, Earth is looking unreasonably minuscule from their window. (01:52:50)

Continuity mistake: The judge arrives and tells the audience that they can sit down. The guy on the left with a white linen shirt sits and crosses his left leg. Reverse shot, and he is repeating the action, this time crossing his right. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: Violet's mom is hot combing her hair at 5 AM; as she performs this operation on the left side, the right side has straight black hair all in front of the shoulder. When Violet tells her that dad is coming, she moves to the right side. Sanaa Lathan's hair now is suddenly all behind the shoulder. (00:05:20)

Continuity mistake: The main character is chatting with Harper at the shooting range. Harper's earbuds and protective goggles change position between shots throughout the scene. (00:08:50)

Other mistake: The opening (like most of the movie) does not make much sense, so you can pick your kind of mistake here; the special effects are cartoonishly bad throughout the big firework explosions. When John Abraham is knocked through a window by a rocket (which takes off with a 270° turn without even rising) to the face, he gets up unscathed and starts screaming for Junky and Chandu. The camera moves from them to him and he's running with the girl in the red costume in front of him (which was way behind, safely, when he crashed through the window, so already that is wrong), and then there's a wider shot. In that shot, you can tell that Adams is bumping into the same people as before and the distances between the extras are all wrong. (00:06:35)

Continuity mistake: Carolyn puts on her pink dress and asks Tallulah to zip her up. Tammy Blanchard puts her hair up in a bunch, but there's a large bang to the left side of her face that stays down. In the reverse shot though, she got all her hair up. (00:18:20)

Factual error: After the intro, Elena McMahon is at a press conference addressing the mining of ports in Nicaragua. It is set in the spring of 1984, as the captions and Rosie Perez say, and yet Anne Hathaway delivers the sick burn on the Secretary of State George Shultz using the infamous "I am a Contra too" pseudo-quote by Reagan who originated in a speech (not 'on TV' as she states) delivered in March 1986.

Factual error: The girls missed the bus for the football match because one of them got stuck. Luckily they manage to stop a passing truck and ask for a lift to overtake the bus, which, they stress, was bringing the girls "to Trabzon." When their custodians see them cheer on TV and drama ensues, the match is Galatasaray (GS) vs Trabzonspor (TZS); the home team is Galatasaray, so they should be playing in Istanbul. Factual error: The Cadillac that stalks Professor Joshua Mansky at the beginning of the movie when he gets in the bar has a license plate (517-UCE) with a number format and design not compatible with the time period, the 70s at earliest. The movie is set in 1962. (00:03:30)
