Street Fighter

Character mistake: In the rightmost part of Gen's stage, there is a store called "Siu Wah Bargagain Center", obviously with a misspelling of "Bargain."

Hard Times (1975)

Trivia: By open admission of one of the original artwork designer Akira "Akiman" Yasuda, the movie (known in Japan as "The Street Fighter") inspired at least 2 of the most iconic backgrounds of the game Street Fighter 2: it is really obvious when you watch the fight between Jim Henry and "the kid", on the docks with a boat in the background much like in Ken 's stage. The cage fight against Henry inspired also Zangief's stage. (00:19:30 - 00:47:50)

Hard Times (1975)

Continuity mistake: In the fight at the dock where Robert Tessier makes his first appearance, he repeatedly hurts his young opponent letting him hurt his hands punching his bald dome. He parries a kick and knocks the youngster down with a cross. Pay attention to the guys by the donut on the boat; the guy in the mustard coat has his hands on/off the railing between shots. The group of four by that life preserver changes position even more noticeably a few seconds after when Henry gives a proper beating and yells "Somebody help this kid up." (00:21:30)

Hard Times (1975)

Continuity mistake: Speed is having oysters after the losing effort with his first combatant. He glances back at his table and spots a smiling Charles Bronson suddenly there. Notice the position of the towel; when he gets back to the table with his refill of mussels a moment later, the towel changed position. (00:08:05)

Hard Times (1975)

Character mistake: In the first fight, there's a reaction shot where Speed shouts jubilant "Yes, yes!" when his own fighter misses with his attack and doubles over hit by a painful kick in the gut. That's a mighty weird thing to cheer on. (00:07:00)

Hard Times (1975)

Audio problem: The very first punch we see thrown in the movie happens when Spencer 'Speed' Weed 's man, 'Chuck Boy', swings at the opponent. It is a wide shot, and even from that distance you can see a lot of light between the haymaker and the opponent's face, but of course there's a thunderous sound as if the guy got socked hard in the mush. Hard Times (1975)

Factual error: When Bronson is walking into the city through the railroad deposit, he walks by unused wagons branded Missouri Pacific Lines. The wagon bears the slogan "Route of the Eagles" which was coined and standardized on wagons only in the late 40s. The movie is set in the depression years. (00:02:45)

Hard Times (1975)

Other mistake: Bronson arrives in town hitching a ride in a boxcar. He hops off and begins walking along a different track. In the next shot, you can see in the background the same freight train he left, already moving in the opposite direction. (00:02:10)

Hard Times (1975)

Continuity mistake: Look at Charles Bronson's sideburns in his close-ups on the moving train at the beginning of the beginning of the movie. The hair grows longer when it gets closer to the hat and to the top of his ear. When he hops off the train, his hair appears to have a much closer shave, evened well above the ear. (00:01:35)

Hard Times (1975)

Factual error: The movie is set during the Great Depression, in 1933, but Charles Bronson gets in town aboard of a freight train pulled by an EMD NW5 diesel locomotor, introduced over a decade later. (00:01:15)

Cyrano (2021)

Factual error: The morning after the ambush, Cyrano meets with the baker asking for a private spot. Ragueneau is an amateur poet, and he reads his composition. When Cyrano asks for a place more private than the oven surrounded by men, the baker recites "Jupiter and Pluto are planets, revolving like us, far apart." The story is set in the 1600s, and Pluto hadn't yet been identified as a planet nor sighted, let alone named. It happened in 1930. (00:28:40)

Super Robot Wars V

Character mistake: Before Scenario 12: The Dispeller of Chaos, the dialogue featuring Ruri has a couple of repetitions who are not part of her character and never appear again in the rest of the game; talking to Misumu, she says "What would that would be", and to the Aesti pilots she says "But first there's someone I want to to [...] first."

Continuity mistake: An Hispanic gang approaches David as he is about to have a smoke. He raises his lighter, the head honcho of the gang picks his cigarette, and David raises again the hand he already raised. (00:32:50)

Revealing mistake: The sequence when Wino Henry gets hit by the tail of the gator and thrown against the wall is all sorts of wrong; in the first part of it, the victim is just standing there in the silliest way and in fact professional bum actor Carmen Filpi 'corpses' waiting for the special effect to happen. In the second part, he's replaced by a poorly disguised stuntman. (00:29:20)

Continuity mistake: When Smirnoff brutalizes Tanaka's nose, he does it without holding him at first, but he has him in a headlock in the next shot. Even more obvious discontinuity after Hodges' bathroom antics, when Smirnoff has his opponent in a sleeper hold (so he's behind him) but instantly in the next shot he is in front of him and bites his face (all of this with the announcer Count Billy Varga talking continuously). (00:24:20 - 00:24:55)

Continuity mistake: David drops by to the club where the uber-rich baddie is relaxing, and turns out his ideal pastime is dining ringside while hairy wrestlers bodyslam each other on his table. In one of the opening shots he and his associates grab their glasses from the table, but in the wider shot when Professor Tanaka picks up Alexi Smirnoff, their glasses are still on the table, and back in their hands later. (00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: David is taking a walk after the exposition scene with his coroner friend and his wife. An Hispanic woman is talking with a douchy realtor; she has her hands and forearms on the table, they are gone from the table at the cut. (00:14:00)

The Nice Guys (2016)

Continuity mistake: Russell Crowe is dunked head and torso in a pool, immediately gives chase to Blueface, but he's basically dry when reaches Holly. Later in the movie it's even worse, since Ryan Gosling has a near-death experience falling in a pool, but he runs as normal, only slightly moist in the hair (and even pulls out a cigarette and lights it later by the time the cops arrive).

Super Robot Wars V

Character mistake: One of the most commonly used line from Gamilla's battleship officers is "Terrons are possessed for fearsome battle tactics", when they obviously mean "Terrons possess fearsome battle tactics."

Super Robot Wars V

Super Robot Wars V mistake picture

Character mistake: The profile of Yuki Mori from Star Blazers 2199 mistakenly refers to her as "He is 19 years old", probably because the beginning of the profiles of the Yamato are all almost identical and 'copy and paste' was used. The correct pronoun "she" is used for the rest of the bio.
