Continuity mistake: During the initial briefing, the digital clock initially points the time pretty accurately, but then gets stuck on minute 56 for way too long; it's at 12:56:35 when they whip out of the drug lord's folder, 20 seconds of dialogue elapse till the clock is shown again at 12:56:47, another 25 before it gets to 12:56:55, and about 40 seconds before it gets to...12:56:56. And barely 30 seconds pass before Estrada arrives, at exactly 1 o' clock. (00:12:30 - 00:14:30)

Revealing mistake: Back at his NAACP homebase, Marshall meets with the boss who is already sending him to deal with another case. In the close-up of the newspaper he's reading, check out between the actor's fingers. You can tell that half of the article, which begins in English, suddenly switches into Latin 'lorem ipsum' filler text. (00:06:20)

Continuity mistake: During the scene of the first meeting between Gus and Ruby, Krysten Ritter's hair moves back and forth (behind or in front of her left shoulder) between shots multiple times (most obvious example: when he offers her a drink). (00:12:45 - 00:14:35)

Continuity mistake: Lucy storms out of Michael's car; the car has the hood (almost) entirely in direct sunlight, but when he opens the door to give chase to her it's mostly covered in foliage shadow. (00:06:40)

Revealing mistake: When the speaker during the first game played says "This game might have had a different outcome", everyone in the crowd looks at a different spot, but the small kids agree on just looking straight into the movie camera. (00:01:25)

Continuity mistake: Michael sets foot into the church and meets Pastor John Soul. John has a clipboard in his left hand, as well as his glasses, as he says "But the doors of this church are always open to you." He opens his arms and the glasses are in the left hand. However in the wider shot that follows ("But, if you are looking for redemption...") here's the Pastor with the glasses in his right hand. (00:27:05)

Trivia: One of the characters of the game, Diekbeck, does not gain exp levels, but rather can accumulate it and distribute it to other characters. In the western localization of the manual, this ability is detailed in a paragraph called "Sucking Diek."

Continuity mistake: The game begins and ends in the same room, with the sleeping princess Zelda. There is a difference though: in the beginning she is on a bed sided by 2 braziers, which are gone in the ending - that's because they are an addition for the NES version. The 'in-game' version of the room was extended with columns all the way, and added those braziers. The ending loads the original Famicom Disk System version of the room, without them.

Continuity mistake: Maudie lights herself a cigarette. There are 2 matchboxes on the railing of the porch. They disappear for the rest of the scene and Maudie's cardigan and dress do not have pockets. (00:02:35)

Continuity mistake: Sara recovers the artifact and gets on the boat. She removes the deep-dive helmet and the oxygen tank. The villain is looking at her through his binoculars, she hasn't moved, but the equipment she took off and dropped on the deck has vanished. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: At the wedding of her friend, Zoe drinks from her glass, looking 3/4 empty. Cut, and the glass is more than half full. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: The protagonist's music video dream gets interrupted by Victor strumming his guitar and asking for waffles. In the overhead shots, the necklace is quite prominently embedded into the cleavage of Lucy Hale. They alternate with a sideview where the string is spread across her chest. (00:01:25)

Continuity mistake: While Jim is narrating his story, he gets to the point when his son was hit by a drunk driver. The line slows down, but when it cuts to a close-up of Renée Zellweger saying "Sorry Jim", you see the trays shift. Only, they are back in the exact same spot as before when the close-up is over. Factual error: When the girls talk at the beginning of the movie, they can fully hear and understand each other even when they are at massive distance from the webcams they are supposedly using to communicate.

Other mistake: The title crawl of the original NES game contains several mistakes, notably the antagonist spelled "gannon" with 2 Ns combined with awkward phrasing ("one of the triforce with power" instead of "the triforce of power"). This mistake has been corrected with a better, more fluid translation in later remakes, starting with the Collector's Edition for GameCube.

Continuity mistake: When Carl lets his dog out of the bag, in the close-up there's a shadow on Rod Steiger's boot, and a shadow of something or someone standing between him and the camera: both are gone in the following shot, when the dog runs across the lawn (and 'knocks aside' the camera). Continuity mistake: The cursed necklace is shown emitting its evil fumes on the white paper of the letter, but the letter itself is perfectly 90° with the envelope, or at a different angle. (00:06:20)

Continuity mistake: Right at the beginning of the movie, the Sergeant pulls his jeep over and headbutts a prisoner who is carrying a Danish flag, seizing it. In the following shot he has his arms open and shoves away another prisoner, no flag in his hands. Next shot, he's standing by the bleeding prisoner, folded flag in hand. (00:02:25)

Revealing mistake: In the presentation for the fellow Ultimate Students, the screen scrolls showing several magazines Junko, the Ultimate Fashionista, has appeared in. In the background, one of the magazines has obvious jibberish filler text in it, since it goes, I quote: "argrwgawrg agreg agregraegraaerg asg."

Continuity mistake: At the end of the apple-selling musical number, the painter La Bessiere asks for the singer's company after the performance. Marlene Dietrich's stole goes off her shoulder at the cut between the two consecutive shots. (00:24:20)
