The Green Mill Murder - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When the two blokes who help Miss Fisher are playing darts, the close-up shows the dart sticking really close to the left line of the segment. When Miss Fisher is nearly impaled by Bert's off-target projectile, the dart on the board is better centered. (00:15:25)

The Green Mill Murder - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: When the band in the nightclub performs the made up song "Mr. Music Man", the suave Mr. Stone, the musician Miss Fisher ends up dancing with, is doing one heck of an hilariously incompetent job at faking to play an instrument, basically playing air-banjo strumming about 3 inches above where the chords are, and wildly off tempo. In the closing bit of the song (as the singer sings "To sin") he even moves his hand at the side of the strings and not above them. (00:03:30)

The Green Mill Murder - S1-E3

Factual error: At the beginning, Charles is trying to sell his airplane to Miss Fisher: he calls it a "Tiger Moth." The series is set in the 20s, and he should have simply said a "de Havilland Moth", which were the most popular recreational aircraft of the decade. The Tiger Moth though came out in 1931, making its mention an impossibility. (when we see the plane, it's a model manufactured in 1942, going by its registration number).

Cocaine Blues - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The victim in the close-up is dead with his hand under the bathroom table. But he was seen in the previous shot exhaling his last breath in front of it, with no contact at all with the wooden leg. And as crude as the chalk outline on the bathroom floor is, it is more consistent with that sort of distance and position. (00:00:50 - 00:06:50)

Jessica Jones (2015)

AKA Crush Syndrome - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: As Jessica rips the phone receiver off, in the background Luke can be seen already breaking the bottle and punching the guy as he is shown doing later. If you think this can be somehow justified as an editing trick to show something happening simultaneously, it's not: Jessica witnesses the jealous husband breaking a bottle on Luke's head, but in similar fashion when she has to turn and dodge the punch of the guy who calls her a "psycho", there it is, the bottle-breaking bit happening in the background, behind her. Jessica Jones (2015)

AKA Crush Syndrome - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Jessica is sorting the material for her investigation: when you see her lay down on the table a paper with a yellow sticker on top, look at her reach for the glass. On the table now in front of her there's a pile of pictures just as the scene started. Back to the overhead shot, and papers and pictures are arranged again neatly, including the yellow post-it. Fist Fight (2017)

Fist Fight mistake picture

Continuity mistake: As students are watching porn, Strickland struts his way down the school corridor through jumpcuts. Some extras in the background have poses radically different nobody could switch to without reason, like this blonde guy who is turned the other way and that suddenly is leaning against the wall with his arms crossed while Strickland has barely walked one step. Jessica Jones (2015)

AKA Ladies Night - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Jessica at the beginning of the episode smashes her aggressive client head first through her door's glass panel. The pictures she took for him are shown slowly floating in the air. However in the close-up of the floor, the shattered glass is all scattered on top of the pictures. (00:02:25)

Def Poet's Society - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: A member of the poetry club responds to Will's "You're a poet and you don't know it!" with a sassy "I -AM - a poet and I -DO - know it" in a close-up. In said close-up, she is holding her hand on a book, while in the shots before and after, her arm is in a different position. (00:06:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ronnie and "Saddamn" are in the middle of the mall trading f-bombs: throughout the scene there are often inconsistencies regarding the position of various people walking by. It's especially noticeable when in some shots the corridors are crowded with people walking or slowly pushing strollers, but after a quick cut suddenly everyone has disappeared. (00:21:00)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ronnie approaches Brandi (and incidentally, Bruce) with the excuse to talk about the perv. During the conversation, behind Brandi a woman dressed in black appears and disappears a few times, same as a woman with a white and green shirt who is leaving but comes back just a couple of shots later. Not With My Pig, You Don't - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: During the award dinner, when Hattie says the line about "Zeke sprung from the ground like a big ol eggplant," watch the table in the back, next to the door. The man sitting there wipes his mouth raising a napkin 3 times in 3 separate shots. (00:19:00)

Bang the Drum, Ashley - S1-E2

Character mistake: When Geoffrey serves tea after his sassy cough at Vivian's sentence about High Tea not being a sacred institution, the actor messes up when it's time to actually serve tea, with a napkin getting caught in the teacup saucer. Granted, accidents do happen, but it's quite uncharacteristic for the perfect butler Geoffrey is portrayed to be, and simply a flub by Joseph Marcell. (00:17:45)

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mistake picture

The Fresh Prince Project - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: When Will screams in front of the mirror, imagining himself turned into Carlton, something went wrong making the composite shot and not only you can actually see the line of separation between the two frames, but the superimposed one exposes a bit of the mirror woodframe before it wiggles into the correct position and covers it up. (00:11:30)

The Fresh Prince Project - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Will puts the last of his wall-shaking staples on the Malcolm X poster before the butler's interruption, the poster is almost perfectly flat. When Geoffrey walks to the poster, a bottom corner is noticeably raised. When Carlton walks to it, it's flat again, and raised when Will freaks out at the mirror. (00:07:40 - 00:10:00)

Underworld (2003)

Plot hole: Even assuming that creating a manhole underneath your own feet Looney Tunes-style shooting a gazillion bullets around you through the floor is a better battle strategy than using said bullets to shoot at the three remaining wolves charging at you in the small corridor, said creatures don't suddenly stop existing just because you fell down one floor, making their complete disappearance - they do not give chase through the hole or stairs nor even make as much of an angry sound throughout the rest of the scene.

Suggested correction: I think this is more a stupidity than a plot hole. She could have escaped or defeated the wolves in any kind of ways, it's not a plot hole that she escaped by using a tactic that is illogical but not impossible.

lionhead

I would absolutely agree about the silly tactic itself, but there were pursuing werewolves in that corridor, and for the remainder of the scene she just faces Lucian. There's no explanation why they don't come through the same hole, or take the stairs, or claw a hole through like they seemed to easily do in Michael's apartment. Not even a snarl: she drops one floor and they are...gone? So that part feels like a plot hole to me.

Magnum, P.I. (1980)

J.'Digger' Doyle - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: In the first minutes, Rick is talking up the properties of some special fruit juice. He passes the glass to Magnum, who takes a sip from a slightly fuller glass than he was given, and passes back to him a glass with a level of juice that drops dramatically between shots, and keeps doing so throughout the entire scene. Continuity mistake: After the alien abduction, Emmet plans to lead a rescue mission and opens the gate asking "Who's coming with me?" During the sequence, the shadows change completely. At first he is not casting much of a shadow, then it reaches the metal doors, then it stops midway towards it. (00:20:55)

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mistake picture

Continuity mistake: En route from the front door of Wayne's mansion to the table in the Batcave, the pile of pizza boxes in Alfred and then in Mike's hands continues to change in size and number: at first the pizza girl delivers 11 boxes, Mike slams on the table just 8, but he brought down the stairs twice that amount (without counting through freeze-frame the precise numbers, it's simply obvious at first glance that the pile is bigger in some shots and the pizzas themselves are pictured of inconsistent size).

Dark Phoenix (2019)

Factual error: In the car at the beginning of the movie, Jean uses her telekinetic powers to switch the radio from a station playing "By the time I get to Phoenix" by Glen Campbell to Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London." It's 1975, and Zevon recorded the song only in 1978 (although the song itself had already been written in 1975, other artists played it in live concerts in the Fall of that year). (00:01:30)
