Question: What is the point of Raoul keeping his "hand at the level of his eyes" as he descends the stairwell to face the phantom?
Chosen answer: It keeps him from being caught and strangled by the phantom's 'magical lasso'. See Buquet's explanation in the scene with the ballet chorus girls to see him show how it works.
Question: When Neo is talking with the Architect, he mentions there has been 7 matrix's including this one. But later he states that it will be the 7th time they've destroyed Zion. So is he hinting that there has been 7 Zion's too? that doesn't really make sense and how has there been time for 7 huge cities to be constructed/populated when its i think around the years 3000, its not a lot of time since the original matrix was made.
Answer: Actually it's the 6th Matrix and the 6th destruction of Zion. Since no one knows what year it is (the freed humans are guessing and the robots aren't telling) you can't say anything about how long it has taken to construct and populate the 6 Zion's. For all we know it can have been going on for 1,000s of years.
Question: Since its mentioned in most of the other Star Wars films, where is the number 1138 mentioned in this one?
Answer: When the snowspeeders are searching for Han and Luke, the leader says for Rogues 10 and 11 to search sector 38. A bit of a stretch, but there it is. Also, during the duel between Luke and Vader the fight sequence begins with one exchange of strikes, then one more, then three, then eight.
Question: How did Gollum survive his fall outside of Shelob's Cave?
Answer: He fell onto a grassy knoll a little way underneath the mouth of the cave. How he managed to get into Mount Doom is another matter, but bearing in mind the Hobbits took AGES to get through Mordor, he must have beaten them to it. If you look closely at him inside Mount Doom you can see he has bruises, cuts etc., probably inflicted by his fall.
Question: I think that it was excluded from the UK Extended DVD, but does anyone know where I can find 'Gollum's Acceptance Speech' on the web? It was the awards ceremony for the MTV Movie awards.

Question: I noticed that Ed's description of Snakehips (surrounded by women) turned out to be pretty accurate and I was wondering if his descriptions of the other two people at the Winchester turned out to be of significance, I didn't spot it myself.
Answer: I don't know if those two descriptions have any significance, but on the DVD commentary Pegg and Wright point some other instances where descriptions come true. For instance, (grumpy flatmate) Pete tells Ed to 'go and live in the shed' which he ends up doing, and after the 'electro' argument, Ed says of Pete 'the next time I see him, he's dead', which of course he is.
Question: The parent-to-child mini-movie, was that a real film or was it specially made for this one?
Answer: It is an actual sex education film titled "Parent to Child About Sex" by The Film Library Department of Human Resources.
Question: What is the alternate ending and start to this film as shown on the DVD version?
Chosen answer: In the alternate beginning, Richard is sitting in front of the large Buddha statue when a taxi driver stops and prompts him to take a ride with him. He explains that they celebrate New Year's by spraying each other with water guns, and gives one to Richard. While riding in the taxi, Richard sprays others and gets sprayed, having a lot of fun. It ends when Richard enters the "mall" where he will eventually meet the guy who offers him to drink the snake blood in the regular movie beginning. In the alternate ending, Sal turns the gun on herself and commits suicide. It ends by having a large ship rescue all of them when they're stranded at sea, banned from the island. The final words by Richard are something to the effect of "I have a lot of scars," which from what I recall is the actual ending of the novel by Alex Garland.
Question: In the credits it shows Elle's mom and Elle's dad, but I didn't see them in the movie. Are they in deleted scenes or something?
Answer: Yes they are in the deleted scenes. They are in a scene when Elle calls her parents and tells them about her upcoming wedding.
Question: Can anyone who speaks Japanese tell me what Jim says to the guard who's beating up the doctor? He says a few lines, then bows. The guard seems embarrassed and walks away.
Chosen answer: The first time, Jim says "Nanika no machigai desu. Bokutachi wa minna tomodachi desu yone. Senso no sei desu." This roughly translates to "There has been some sort of mistake. We are all friends aren't we? It is the war's fault." The second time, Jim only says "Nanika no machigai desu. Bokutachi wa minna..." and then gets pushed aside. "There has been a mistake, we are all...". I hope that helps.
Question: There is a red headed kid that has several small lines in the movie, primarily in the beginning. He plays 1st base once or twice. Who is he, and why wasn't/isn't his role in the movie as big as all the other kids?
Chosen answer: That red headed kid is Regi Tower, played by now-screenwriter and director Scott Firestone. Several of the boys had very minor roles, so Regi wasn't really an exception. His character did not appear in either of the sequels to The Bad News Bears.
Question: When Rome is been destroyed by that superstorm, just after the Colosseum explodes which building is the one that is destroyed by the lightning bolts? (The one with the statue of a knight)
Answer: I believe you are referring to the Vittorio Emanuele Monument. Victor Emmanuel II was the first monarch of Italy in the mid to late 1800's. The monument has also been nicknamed the "typewriter" and the "wedding cake".
Question: I believe I heard that the Olsen twins acted side by side in four different episodes. Does anybody know what the four episodes are?
Chosen answer: The first time was in the first season, episode 19 "The Seven-Month Itch", the second was in the fourth season, episode 1 "Greek Week", the third time was in the fifth season, episode 19 "The Devil Made Me Do It" and finally in the very last episode of the series, "Michelle Rides Again", season 8 episode 23.
Question: In the trivia section it says "A trait of J.K. Rowling is to make up names that are pertinent or descriptive of their object/person (eg. Diagon Alley, Voldemort, etc)." I understand Diagon Alley = Diagonally, but what does Voldemort describe?
Question: Why, when Betty and Ralph drive off on honeymoon at the start does the car say 'Wait till tonight - she got hers now he'll get his'? Am I missing something or am I just being naive and innocent?
Chosen answer: It means they are going to have sex. The bride got her groom and the groom is going to get laid.
She got her ring, he'll get his ring... I'll leave the rest to your imagination.
Question: I'm still confused about something - what exactly was the whole point of the spy glasses?
Chosen answer: The spy glasses are not explained in the books, but it seems that these are symbols of the fact that they are in VFD, the secret organization we learn about later on in the series. Both Dr. Montgomery and Aunt Josephine's husband and brother-in-law, the Anwhistle brothers, are implied to have been a part of VFD.
