Question: Though as of today I've only seen Serenity 1 & 2, why did Mal trick Simon into thinking Kaylee was dead, and then laugh about it with Zoe, Wash and Jayne on the bridge?
Answer: To tease him. Kaylee is the only one who likes Simon at this point, so the others don't mind playing a rather mean-spirited joke on him.
Question: Are open-throated Allison and the mutilated dark-haired guy near the end chasing Chelsey supposed to have become cenobites? Because they seem to be animated after death like the cenobites but they aren't wearing the usual leather gear and apart from their mutilations they look otherwise human.
Answer: No they are not. They are just a figment of Chelsey's imagination as Lance Henrickson's character points out he put all of everything they saw in their mind, including Pinhead.
Question: What is the juggernaut's actual power (in the film, not the comics)? It says he can't be stopped if he has built up momentum, but that would be based on mass and velocity, neither of which seemed to change when he approached Leech, yet he was knocked out by the wall.
Answer: Yeah, well, that's it - he's unstoppable once he gets underway. The mechanics behind this aren't clear, but it's clearly based on more than just his mass and velocity. It seems likely that it's a combination of something resembling super-strength (but tied directly into his movement) and something to protect him from the effects of the impact. Within range of Leech, both of these are disrupted, so he neither penetrates the wall nor is protected from the impact, and thus is rendered unconscious.
Question: When Kyle and Sarah change places in the pickup truck, if you play it in slow motion you can see Kyle's face transitioning to that of a stuntman. How did they manage to do that back in 1984? And more importantly, since they were driving straight ahead, why?
Answer: As for the transformation it appears to be an optical thing. It appears that Kyle was driving and doing the switch. the reason for the switch is so Kyle can toss out the pipe bombs. notice that Sara holds one up and Kyle and her then switch places.
Question: Is it true that the show's set was burned down? Either way, why was the show ended so suddenly (before Laura and Steve's wedding was even shown)?

Question: In the movie, when Mystic is being hit by "the cure", it was shown that she was naked. But when she shape-shift to be another person, the clothes were part of her disguise (as shown when she change into the president / small girl in the hold up cell). That being the case, does that mean that even when she is another person, she is in reality naked? If she is naked how could she withstand the cold? Just curious to know.
Answer: Yes, all clothes she wore as a mutant were part of her (or they wouldn't have changed with her) and she appears to have an inherent resistence to cold. For instance, in the first movie, Senator Kelly's breath is visible when Magneto tests the device on him and she seems to be unafected by the cold in her blue form. And if it ever got too cold for her, remember that a polar bear doesn't wear clothes either. Even if though the clothes are part of her, they can still have thermal properties.
Question: Who is Max exactly? Does he (she?) have any significance in the movie at all?
Answer: Max is Lindsay Lohan - she doesn't want her dad to know she is racing so when she first has on the racing suit and helmet she says she is Max.
Question: Series 8 started airing in the U.S in September of last year and the U.K early this year. It will end in the US 3 weeks before the UK. Why if there was such a large difference in original airdates are they finishing so close together?
Answer: This is down to the ways that the respective countries show series. The U.S. will often stop in mid-series and show repeats, dragging out a series of twenty-odd episodes over forty or more weeks, whereas the U.K. will just run straight through a series from beginning to end. As a result, the U.K. tend to catch up, or, as has happened on a few occasions, actually overtake the U.S. schedule.
Question: Why at the end is Rogue allowed back to the mansion to rejoin the X-men if she is no longer a mutant?
Answer: Because the people living there are her friends. It is never stated that she comes back for good, but she wanted to see them and explain what she had done, not to mention physically touching Bobby. Also, Rogue might not have that many places to go, since the school has become her home. The X-Men would be willing to give a friend and former comrade a place to stay while she rearranged her life.
Question: Is there any meaning behind the girl who tells Virginia her fortune (in Kissingtown), other than the fact that what she says comes true? Virginia asks "How did she know that?" as if there's something else.
Answer: The little girl is Snow White in disguise, helping the travellers in their quest. "How did she know?" is because the little girl knew what they were looking for, even though no-one had told her.
Question: When Mystique is tied up and she keeps changing into different people, why can't she merely turn into something small, like a rat? She would easily be small enough to be free of whatever was keeping her tied and could crawl through the bars.
Answer: There are limits to the size changes that she can perform. She's known to operate within the standard size ranges for adults and, up to a point, children, but there's no indication that she's capable of going down to rat-size - assuming that her mass remains constant, the density required at that size would probably make it impossible to function.
Question: Could someone please tell me what happens in the extra scene with Professor X after the credits roll? I made the stupid mistake of leaving before they were over.
Answer: We see the hospital bed of the man mentioned earlier in the film in the ethics class, the one who has no higher brain function - Xavier asks if it would be ethical to transfer the mind of somebody dying into his body to keep them alive. We see Moira McTaggert checking on him - as she does so, he turns his head towards her and we hear Xavier's voice saying "Moira?" She's clearly shocked, then the scene ends as she says "Charles?"
Question: I've heard that X-Men: The Official Game explains the absence of Nightcrawler in the movie. Since I don't have the game, I was wondering what happened.
Answer: In the game, Nightcrawler accompanies the X-men on a series of missions. Completing that, he tells Xavier the life of an X-man is that of violence, while he is a man of peace, and leaves.
Question: Is Mary Magdalene really buried at the Louvre, or are they just making that up?
Answer: Come on. The whole book and movie are a work of fiction. The whole thing is "made up" with a few references to historical events and a few real organizations thrown in.
Answer: It is believed that "possibly" Mary's remains are there.
Question: This actually may not be on the movie, but it's bothering me: If the Ministry knows exactly when Harry conjures the Patronos spell, how come they can't tell when Voldemort uses the Avada Kedavra curse, which is supposed to be much stronger?
Answer: Only underage witches and wizards are monitored for using magic outside Hogwarts, and Harry in particular has always been closely watched. Any use of magic by him would immediately be noticed. It's not until the end of HP and the Order of the Phoenix that the Ministry of Magic finally acknowledges that Voldemort has returned. Until then they were not searching for signs of him. Also, Voldemort has supporters working within the Ministry who could have hidden evidence of his presence.

Answer: Not specifically, it's an adversary created by the Danger Room, but it's certainly a nod towards the Sentinels, which, so far, don't appear to exist within the movie series.
