Question: Does anyone know where I can get the plans for the Black Pearl? If not, maybe the HMS Dauntless? And what is the status of those ships? (i.e. blown up, put away, etc.).

Answer: Neither ship existed - they were both shells, built over large barges. The only real ship was the Interceptor, in reality named the Lady Washington, and even that was modified for the film. The Black Pearl was modelled on a real ship that stands in a museum in Stockholm.

Question: On the way to Helm's Deep, Theoden is riding Snowmane. After the battle with the Wargs and the company finally arrives inside the great fortress, Theoden dismounts off of a brown horse...where did Snowmane go?

Answer: Snowmane was presumably either killed during the battle against the Wargs and their riders, or injured to the extent that Theoden didn't want to risk riding him.

Tailkinker

Answer: Snowmane definitely wasn't dead. He rode Snowmane to the battle of Pelennor fields.

Question: Is it true that Cirdan the Shipwright can be seen near the end of the movie? If so, which actor plays Cirdan?

Answer: It's true, yes, you can see him, standing on the dock at the Grey Havens, behind Galadriel, Elrond and Celeborn. He's also seen in the prologue to the Fellowship of the Ring - he's the elder of the two male elves who possess Rings (the other being Gil-galad). Cirdan was played by Michael Elsworth.

Question: Does anyone know what exactly happens to Shmi (Anakin's mum) while enslaved by the Tusken Raiders or is this something that George Lucas leaves for us to ponder.

Answer: She's been very badly treated - quite possibly tortured, maybe to gain information about the farm in preparation for a possible Tusken raid. She's not a young woman, who's led a pretty rough life, and her body's simply given up on her - from what's said, it's remarkable that she held out as long as she did.

Question: Hypothetically, what would happen if everyone in the world, or at least those with the means to watch the tape, saw it, copied it and passed it on to someone else? Would the curse, in a sense, die?

Answer: Hypothetically, it could be assumed that the curse would die. But it would be nearly impossible for someone to not drop the ball on it and inadvertently let the curse continue.

LuMaria 1

Question: Can someone explain what the guys in white suits wanted with Matt at the end of the film when he was infected (Why would they want to contain him instead of treating him with the antidote?). The other question was with Alice (Milla Jovovich) what exactly were they doing with her and how come nothing happened to her in that hospital. Did the zombies just decide to leave her alone?

Lummie

Chosen answer: Matt was infected with a T-virus from a second-generation Licker with human DNA (drawn from Spence). Umbrella has no other research project like him and believes that he may be useful for the Nemesis research strain (using the T-virus to create directed but monstrous mutations in humans for killing machines). Alice was deemed too great a security risk to release, so they experimented with a modified T-virus on her to create a more powerful soldier - she was under observation at the end. The zombies couldn't get into her room because the door was locked and don't have the problem-solving abilities necessary to open the door, so they went searching for more accessible prey. Much of this is explained more clearly in the sequel.

Phoenix

Question: What did Cher mean when she said, "this is a bigger disaster than Malibu"? What happened to Malibu?

Answer: Malibu is a hazardous place to live. It's constantly threatened by wildfires, which burn out the underbrush. Then when it rains, there's nothing on the ground to keep the mud from sliding down the hills, so mudslides are a problem, too. She was probably referring to one of the many times that this has happened.

Krista

Chosen answer: That would be "In the Hall of the Mountain King". It is the final movement of Edvard Grieg's classical work, Peer Gynt Suite No. 1.

Question: When Sasha is revealed for actaully being Alex trusk, is Sasha (or 'Alex') really blind then, or was she lying?

Hamster

Chosen answer: She is really blind.

Answer: Fist of Fury.

Question: Did Jessie James actually pay so Paul Walker would wear one of his t-shirts throughout the film?

Answer: No he didnt. They had him wear it so he would look like a racing fan.

Question: Wasn't Quentin himself supposed to make a cameo in Volume 2? Did he? I watched it twice keeping my eyes peeled for QT, I really don't think he's there...

Answer: He was suppose to play Pai-Mei, but due to how much he was doing just directing and producing the movie, he didn't have time for the complex martial arts training.

Question: What ballet was Mr. Hedare watching when at the theater?

Answer: Mr. Hedare was watching what appeared to be a performance by Cirque de Soleil.

Pilot (1) - S1-E1

Question: In the pilot episode, the wormhole physically travels to "capture" Quinn and bring him back to his own world, after his very first slide. How did the wormhole know where Quinn was?

Matty Blast

Chosen answer: Remember at first Quinn's timer is working perfectly (it's only because they slide off the ice age world early that it begins to malfunction) & given Quinn's intellect he would have devised a way that he could open a wormhole near him so he wouldn't be trapped on that world for 29 years.

Answer: The footage of Scorpina came from Zyuranger, the Sentai series of 1992. Power Rangers had since moved on to Dairanger, the 1993 series. New footage was created (with a new actress) for "Goldar's Vice-Versa". Footage from Zyuranger (especially Zord battles) could not be meshed with Dairanger footage with any degree of accuracy, and although the producers could have brought Scorpina back for more episodes, they decided not to.

Question: I know that Akasha is Aliyah, but who sat for Enkil? He's just a static character, but they had to get the face from some where.

Answer: His name is Peter Olsen. IMDB.com didn't have a listing of any of his other work though.

Answer: The Rangers are human. Blue Centurion is a robot/cyborg.

Question: First time I saw this film was when my parents rented it shortly after it's initial VHS release. I distinctly remember a scene taking place on Sunday morning where the killer knocks on the door to the Mills' apartment and Tracy opens. I have not seen this scene on TV, yet I'm sure I saw it originally since that was when I realised what would happen in the end. Is this scene still left in some editions and why was it taken out?

Answer: It's the Mandela Effect, that scene never happened. And it wouldn't make sense to the movie, the ending is supposed to surprise the audience the same way it surprises the detectives. Including a scene in which John Doe shows up to see Tracy would definitely foreshadow something happening to her, which defeats the purpose of the movie ending the way it did.

Answer: I feel like I remember seeing a commercial or something for Se7en that has a scene of Tracy opening the door looking surprised but I may have imagined it.

Answer: As with any movie, the TV version is missing certain due to time constraints, so this may explain why you didn't see the scene on TV. However, the DVD version I have includes the scene, if I remember correctly.

The DVD version I have never shows Doe go to Mills' home.

Question: What were the Spanish lyrics to the song Frida was singing in the bar just before she started the brawl, and is that the literal translation that is on the subtitles? I know what the movie says the translation is, but I can't get the words the same when I try to translate back into Spanish.

Answer: The Song Frida is singing is one of Diego´s most favourite songs, La Bruja (On the soundtrack performed by Lila Downs). http://www.musicbrother.com/index.php?page=song&id=167156 (german page, but spanish lyrics).

Question: Why did they not base the second film on the princess diaries books?

Answer: My guess is because Mia and Michael didn't actually start dating until the third Princess Diaries book. The second and third books were all about Mia trying to get Michael to go out with her, and since they went out at the end of the first movie, they couldn't base the second movie on the second book.
