Question: In the new version of the DVD, where you make some of the choices (ex. choose heads or tails on the coin, tell Ian to step left or right away from the sign), is there a way to make all the characters survive? And if so, what are the choices?

Answer: If you choose tails during the first choice, Wendy and her friends don't get on the coaster (it still crashes), but the movie ends minutes later. Also, you can "save" Frankie by choosing to honk your horn again at the drive-thru. He is saved but everything else plays out pretty much the same. Finally, by choosing to step right at the end you'll see an alternate ending that does not include the subway scene.

Nick N.

Answer: Actually you will see the subway scene even if you have Ian jump to the right. And for the coin toss, after they get on Wendy has a different premonition than what she had in the original.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Question: Is there a reason for Storm creating a storm when the X-Men talk to the president or is it just to make the scene more "spooky"?

Answer: The president is delivering a live address on television. The storm would make an excuse for the break in the signal.

Question: Is it ever explained how vampires can have sex when it is stated pretty explicitly that they don't have blood flowing around their bodies? I mean, I've studied biology and I hear it's pretty important for guys.

Answer: It's also stated pretty explicitly that vampires are dead, yet they're walking and talking, controlled by a demon inside of them, which could also control their sexual parts.

Batman Begins (2005)

Answer: Lucius implies that he knows what Bruce is up to ("but don't think of me as an idiot"), but says that if Bruce doesn't outright tell him anything, he won't have to lie when asked.

Question: When Stiller is trying to flirt with the one lady at her house he says "Freakinare" or something. Whatever it is, what does it mean?

Answer: I think you may be mishearing "freaky naughty", which is pretty self-explanatory.

General questions

In a couple of films and TV shows I've watched, the saying "Heeeeeeeeeere's Johnny" has sprouted up a couple of times. What film was this first mentioned in?

Answer: It's actually originally from "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson. The announcer would say "Heeeeeeere's Johnny!" at the beginning of the show. It was most famously made use of in The Shining.

Day 4: 10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S4-E16

Question: What happens to Behrooz at the end? I missed this episode, so I read in the official site of 24 its summary, but it didn't really say if Behrooz was killed or not. So was he killed or not?

Answer: It's never confirmed exactly what happened to him. In a deleted scene, he is rescued by CTU agents. After that, we can assume that he was probably put into witness protection or something.

Chosen answer: She makes a square shape with her fingers in the air when she is talking to Vernita Green ("That would make us about square"). she does the same motion to John Travolta right before they go into Jack Rabbit Slims in Pulp Fiction.

Question: Bishop is killed in Alien Vs Predator, so why is he alive in Alien 3 at the end of the movie? Alien 3 is supposed to take place many years after Alien Vs Predator (in Alien 3 Bishop claims not to be a robot).

Answer: He isn't Bishop in Alien vs. Predator. The Alien series takes place many, many years after Alien vs. Predator, the character in Alien 3 is just a descendant of the character who looks like him in Alien vs. Perdator.

Question: When I saw this movie in theaters, I seem to recall a scene where Gimli had to be blindfolded because they were entering a sacred Elf place in a forest. Gimli doesn't want to be, but Aragorn (I think) says that they will all go blindfolded. I can't find it in the DVD release but my friend, who has actually read the book, says that the scene is in book. Did they cut the shot out or did I just pluck this out of thin air?

Answer: That scene is only in the book, it was never in any cut of the film.

Nick N.

Question: In the UK Extended DVD, Aragorn's rousing speech at the black gate seems to finish a little differently. The line, 'This day we fight' sounds different to me from what I remember from the cinema and as I don't own the theatrical version I can't check. Can anyone confirm my suspicions and if so, why did they change it?

Answer: It's not different from the theatrical cut, but a significantly different take on the line was used in the trailer.

Fight Club (1999)

Question: When the Ed Norton character is searching for Tyler Durden in the multiple cities, he runs into a man in a bar who has had facial surgery and tells Ed that he had been in that bar last week. I know that Tyler supposedly had facial surgery every three years, but who is the guy in the bar and what is the significance behind him?

Answer: First, the idea of Tyler having facial surgery every three years was just one of many (untrue) rumors - fight club hadn't even been around three years. And I assume you mean the bartender because he is the only one who says that Ed Norton was there last week - he was just talking about how "Tyler" had started up a fight club in his bar last week, spreading his army across the country - and he hadn't had facial surgery, it was just busted up from fighting.

Braveheart (1995)

Question: How is Wallace being tortured right after they show one of the executioners tear his shirt open?

Answer: The little people shown before Wallace's execution give us a clue-they are cutting him open and pulling out his guts, then castrating him. Traitor execution traditionally was done by drawing and quartering. This is was done by hanging, then cutting open the abdominal wall and removing the intestines and setting them on fire. A good executioner would then reach up under the rib cage and quickly cut out the still beating heart for all to see.

Nick N.

Man that's pretty grim, but I believe what you wrote. People have always been barbaric. This rates in the top 5.

American Wedding (2003)

Question: What was the original message on the cake before Stifler showed up and changed it to "Congratulations Jism"?

Answer: It said "Congratulations Jim", and he moved the "s" into "Jim", so it then actually said "Congratulaion Jism" (note, no "s" on the first word).

Question: What is the role of Robert Englund in this movie? Is he and Freddy Krueger supposed to be the same (as his picture and disappearance indicate) or two different characters (as the credits indicate)?

Answer: In the beginning he is just Robert Englund, but as the film goes on, the characters start becoming who they were in Nightmare 1, so he begins to become Freddy, and goes away so he doesn't harm anyone. The demon that looks like Freddy isn't Freddy, just a demon who takes the shape of the character Freddy.

Question: Which Smith does Neo fight at the end in the Super Brawl? I ask because at the end you see a shot of the Oracle lying unconscious in the middle of the street in the pouring rain, hinting maybe it was Oracle Smith Neo fought, to rub in the irony that the machine that was most behind the human's cause was the one to do them in. So which Smith was it? Original Smith, Oracle Smith, one of the other programs Neo encountered, or just a generic Smith?

Answer: It's made clear that's it's Oracle Smith when he says "Everything that has a beginning has an end, Neo" in the pit. It's unclear which Smith assimilates the Oracle (they're technically all identical), but it seems likely there's only one "Oracled" Smith.

Question: I don't understand why Persephone let one of the guard go, instead of killing both of them when they're saving the Key Maker. Wouldn't they have made a clean escape that way?

Answer: Persephone wants to really stick it to her husband, the Merovingian. By letting one of the guards go tell him she is assuring that he will find out what she did, but it will be too late to stop her.

Miracle (2004)

Question: Does anyone else's DVD freeze for a second, right after Brooks says, "I wanna see that kid in the net who wouldn't take the test"?

Matty Blast

Chosen answer: I don't recall any intentional "freezes" when I saw this in theaters. I don't have the DVD but I'm assuming your talking about a layer change, if this scene is about halfway through the movie. It's a common thing on many DVDs when, on a dual-layered disc, the laser begins to read the other layer.

Question: I have watched both endings to this movie and I love the director's cut much better...BUT, I don't understand somethings about the alternate ending. When Evan is killing himself in his Mother's stomach, his Mom says "for you I was pregnant THREE times" Is this a mistake? After Evan and his Mom went to the physic she told him that she had been pregnant TWO times before him and that they were still births. Also what confused me was that they flashed forward to show that his Mom had a child with his Dad and what looked like to be a little girl...so, does the cycle start all over again? and is that why she said THREE times instead of TWO?

Answer: The cycle will not start again, because the father of the little girl is not Evan's father.

Answer: This is already dealt with in corrected mistakes, but, we are being shown what happens after Evan has killed himself. We hear his mother tell her new daughter that she had three stillbirths (Evan being the third). And the cycle will not continue because only the males were affected (Evan's father and grandfather before him).

Nick N.

Righteously explained. However you should add that Evan's mom married to a new husband that's why the trait was ended.

Answer: When we see the kids being brought to the house with the "Welcome Kids" lettering draped over the front door, that is when Kaitlin and brother Tommy decide to move in with their Mom and away from their pervert Dad. They do this because there was no Evan for Kaitlin to want to stay with her father to be near. I had to watch that scene several times to get that. Everything we see after Evan "thinks" his way back in time to his mother's womb is what happened because Evan never was.

Answer: At the end of the director's cut with the mother on the hospital bed there is a very short baby cry. Is has been said that Evan killed himself in the womb but why the short baby cry that makes it seem that he lived but they just didn't show him.
