Moulin Rouge (2001)

Corrected entry: "Come What May" was the only song for which the words and music were written entirely for the film - the rest of the soundtrack is composed of versions of existing songs.

Correction: "Come What May" wasn't written for Moulin Rouge, it was written for Romeo + Juliet, but not used. (This is why "Come What May" wasn't eligible for the Oscar for Best Original Song).

Season 3 generally

Corrected entry: In the first half of the season it takes only minutes to determine whether or not someone is infected with the virus. When Michelle is at the hotel it takes three hours.

Correction: They were checking only a couple people on the spot. At the hotel they were checking hundreds of people and had to send the material away to a lab. Travel time accounts for a lot of the extra time.

Season 3 generally

Corrected entry: Chloe tells Kim that she's known and worked with Chase for three years, and we know from Chase's history that at least the past 12 months were at CTU. Now if Chloe had worked there for a year wouldn't people know that she did not have a baby daughter?

Correction: She worked with Chase for 3 years at CTU Washington D.C. She didn't necessarily mean the past three years.

Serenity (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene near the beginning when the Operative is investigating the escape of Simon and River, he is reviewing the recording of them escaping from the facility. During his conversation with the doctor, he changes the recording to show the doctor's and Simon's conversation, pointing out the phrase "Key members of Parliament." Later, after he has killed the researcher, the Operative goes back to the recording and it's back to Simon and River escaping, seemingly without him changing it back.

Correction: Watch it again - you can see the hologram change back to Simon and River after the "key members" quote.

Corrected entry: Why is it that when in the first film when Doc grabs the door handle of the time machine when it comes back to normal time with Einstein in it and gets hurt by the extreme cold, but when he grabs the hood of the DeLorean in the second film to give Marty the walkie-talkie, he doesn't have a reaction at all?

Correction: This is a question, not a plot hole. And to answer, the DeLorean has been to the future at this point, where it could have gotten any number of modifications we don't know about (we see the hover conversion and Mr. Fusion, but who's to say he didn't do something about the freezing? Maybe some kind of instant heater if the car drops below a certain temperature?).

Sliders (1995)

Pilot (2) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Professor Arturo first sees the statue of Lenin, he says "Nikolai Lenin". It's a shame for a professor to make such a rude mistake - Lenin's first name was "Vladimir". (00:45:55)

Grigory the Wanderer

Correction: It has nothing to do with alternative timelines. Nikolai Lenin was his nom de guerre, which he adopted after changing his name. That's how he was referred to, especially in the West. To say Lenin's first name was Vladimir would be wrong since Lenin isn't even his last name. Nikolai Lenin was born Vladimir Illyich Ulyanov. It would be akin to saying Vin Diesel real name is Mark Diesel.

Bishop73

Correction: It's an alternate universe, the name doesn't need to be the same as it is in their universe.

13 Going On 30 (2004)

Corrected entry: When Matt leaves Jenna's apartment, he pushes the elevator button which doesn't light up. Later that same evening, Jenna leaves, pushes the elevator button and it does light up.

eileen

Correction: The light could have been broken that morning and repaired by the evening.

Sliders (1995)

Show generally

Corrected entry: In just about every episode, someone complains about landing harshly or bumping into someone during the slide. You'd think that after enough slides, these dummies would at least consider the use of helmets or something (not always possible with their predicaments, of course).

Matty Blast

Correction: Rembrandt does try using pads to slide in an second season episode, but the other sliders jut make fun of him, plus it's a lot more stuff to carry.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: After Rachel and Michael are reunited after Michael's escape, she asks him in the hotel room if he remembers her. Michael says no, because of the memory wipe. The memory isotope wasn't injected into him until AFTER he had met Rachel, and flirted with her at the dinner party. The memory wipe should have only erased his memory back to the point of the injection, and shouldn't have affected his memory of his early meetings with Rachel.

Correction: First of all, it's entirely possible to forget meeting someone at a crowded party, especially when nothing out of the ordinary happens. Secondly, the method memory wipe had never been used on Jennings before, so it could have made memories around the injection point fuzzy.

The Terminal (2004)

Corrected entry: Viktor is asked to interpret for that Russian man and yet nobody ever thinks of finding an interpreter for Viktor? If he had been in an obscure airport in the middle of nowhere it would be understandable, but this is New York, where virtually every language on the planet is spoken.

Correction: You hear Stanley Tucci's character say that an interpreter won't be available for an hour. He is trying to get rid of Viktor quickly and just figured he could get away with simple language.

Big Fish (2003)

Corrected entry: When talking about the fish at the beginning of the film it says he was a dinosaur from the Croaceous period. It's actually Cretaceous Period (there's a "t" in there that was not pronounced). (00:01:35)

Joel Gordon

Correction: I always thought this was just to make Ed seem like he doesn't really know all what he is talking about...

The Core (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where 'Rat' is trying to slow down 'Project DESTINI' (Deep Earth Seismic Trigger Initiative) he incorrectly spells Destini by typing "Project Destiny" into some kind of search box on some 'Alaska Hydroelectric Ltd.' site. For someone who boasts about being so smart earlier in the film that is a pretty stupid mistake. He must have run out of hot pockets.

Correction: While the project does in fact use the word "Initiative" at the end it is always referred to as "Destiny" with a Y when it's written as an acronym.

Old School (2003)

Corrected entry: When they are doing the wrestling game in the basement, there's more lubricant in the pool that could be contained in the bag.

Dr Wilson

Correction: It is very possible that there were many other bags of lubricant not shown on screen.

Daredevil (2003)

Corrected entry: At the end, when Ben is typing the ''Daredevil Revealed'' document, he presses the Delete button and deletes the document, but in order to delete something with that button you would have to select the whole document and then press Delete.

Correction: Ben is using a Mac where the delete key he is using acts as a backspace.

Broken Arrow (1996)

Corrected entry: During the scene, near the end of the film where Hale is in the helicopter, shooting at Deakin on the train; we see Hale aiming directly at Deakin, inside the train, with Terry hanging on to the outside of the train. The problem is that if you are shooting at a moving target then you MUST lead the target, that is to say, shoot in front of it, to ensure that the rounds you are firing will strike the target. Hale is an experienced military operator and would know to lead his targets. Unfortunately, he was aiming just about the right distance in front of Terry for him to hit her, and the volume of fire he poured at the train would have been more than enough to seriously injure, if not kill the poor girl.

Correction: I'm no gun expert but weren't they both moving at the same speed, just as good as if they were standing still at that distance? So leading would not be necessary.

Bad Boys II (2003)

Corrected entry: In the final chase scene just before they reach the US base, Mike asks if anyone has any more bullets. Marcus and Syd are all out, and their Cuban accomplice says he has one "in my hip". But when they arrive at the base and get out of the Hummer, Marcus shoots Tapia in the head.

Correction: When asked if he has any more bullets Marcus actually replies "Two, one in the chamber." He uses that one to shoot Tapia.
