Continuity mistake: When Abobo and Hawk are chasing Billy and Jimmy in the car, Billy throws a can of stuff in the fuel feed of the car. This causes a super combustion that propels the car towards the concrete railings of a bridge. Shots of the exterior show a different type of wall beside them. The car blasts forward and there is a tunnel a few yards in front of them. Switch to interior again and it shows bridge railings with no sign of the tunnel with prolonged speed towards same direction.

Continuity mistake: When Moses saves the little girls from the men at the sheep heard, he slaps their camels to make them run. The next shot shows the camels much further away from Moses than they would have had time to run in the time between shots.

Continuity mistake: After Oscar thanks Angie for clocking him in, he reveals he brought her a bag of food. He did not arrive with it, and when the camera changes to show the front of the desk where he later pops up with the bag, the bag of food is nowhere in sight. He pulled the bag from thin air. Continuity mistake: At the Titanic diner, when Don Leno is trying to get Lenny to eat the shrimp, Lenny grabs all the shrimp and makes a big scene. During this time, the shape of Frankie's mouth keeps changing between sequential shots. (00:19:50)

Revealing mistake: In the beginning scene when the dragons are attacking Berk, it shows several sky torch things being raised into the air. As one closest to the camera is rising, a Viking throws a burning stick at it to ignite it. If you watch it closely, you can see the torch starts burning first to the far left, well out of reach of the thrown fire. Even allowing for fumes igniting, the fumes nearest the flame should light first.

Other mistake: In the opening sequence, Dr. Wily's name is misspelled Dr. Willy with two L's. This mistake is carried over to Mega Man Legacy Collection 2.

Bug: Get to a point where the screen will scroll to a new one like at boss battle doors. Fire the Rush Power Adapter as you go through the scroll point, and MegaMan will rapidly keep punching while the screen scrolls.

Bug: In the first level of Dr. Wily's Castle, you find an Energy Tank. Grab it, then kill yourself. The Energy Tank is now back. You can keep doing this again and again until you have a max of 9 continues.

Continuity mistake: In the game's opening scene, MegaMan has blue hair. In the end scene, his hair is shown as black.

Factual error: In the original English NES copies of this game, at the end of the game it says the Robot Masters are made by Dr. Right instead of Dr. Light. Dr. Right is his name in the Japanese version.

Bug: When attacked by projectiles, if you rapidly pause the game, enemy bullets will pass right through MegaMan without hurting him.

Bug: In this game, unlike the sequels, the CPU players will go after any item that spawns with reckless abandon. If there are just two level 9 CPU players on the stage, and an item spawns, they will both go for it. If they are equal or approximately equal distance from it on opposite sides, they will steadily walk towards it. Once they get within a certain distance of each other, their Level 9 defense programming kicks in, and they will shield roll past each other, and the item. Get up, and do it again, and again, and again bringing the fight to a standstill until the item fades away.

Question: When Martin threw Will's phone out to sea in anger, was it just in anger about what happened? Or was it just an excuse to do so, like thinking his enemies would be tracking them via Will's phone?

Continuity mistake: When Martin goes to meet Jean, it shows him get out of the car as Will stays. The camera focuses on the rear view mirror, showing Martin walk up to Jean and stop as they begin talking. The very next shot from outside the car shows Martin walking again, and then Jean begin talking as if for the first time.

Revealing mistake: When they are stopped after curfew by the Mohawks, Hawk jumps at the window and orders them to give them 50 bucks to go on, and they accept credit cards. When saying this, you can see the dividing line between his real skin and the fake head cap that supports the actor's fake hair.

Other mistake: In this game, normal damage to Mario is healed by collecting coins. When Mario is under water and starts drowning, this damage can be healed simply by rising to the surface. This fully heals all damage. But if you are hurt another way, just jumping in the water will heal all damage as if it was from drowning. This is also present in the DS version.

Bug: In the Big Blue stage, the cars can be partly inside each other as the characters fight on top of them.
