Casino Royale (2006)

Corrected entry: When Bond is in the Bahamas, he is studying the MI6 files on Le Chiffre and his known associates on the computer. There is a spelling mistake in Le Chiffre's file - among other locations, it says "Bosni" in the "case loc" section instead of "Bosnia".

Correction: It's a just a typo. I make them all the time. Maybe a character mistake, but not a movie mistake.

Correction: You can clearly see Squidward rip his shirt off, his conductor outfit was under his shirt.

Corrected entry: In the scene in which Conner jumps off the building after he drops the toilet, we see him fall slow-motion beside the Russian - his legs do not touch him, but when we see the Russian dead, he has foot-prints on his back.

Correction: You see him step squarely on the Russian's back later in the scene (after the slo-mo part).

Corrected entry: Reese Bobby tells Ricky that the saying "If you ain't first, you're last" is a stupid saying that does not make any sense, but he has that bumper sticker on his Chevelle.

Correction: He said that right after his Applebees meltdown. Part of his meltdown including him saying something like "I can't stand it when things are perfect, I have to mess them up." He could have easily just been trying mess up the good thing that he and Ricky had going on.

Corrected entry: When the mile high couple go into the toilet, the woman originally had on a pink top. However in the next scene she is wearing a turquoise one.

Correction: The pink top is on TOP of the turquoise one. Clothes tend to come off preceding sex, which is why she's wearing the turquoise one in later shots.

White Chicks (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the Wilson sisters and their friends have just arrived at the Hampton's Magazine Reception (the first party scene the white chicks are in), Brittany, who is really Kevin, spots Denise Porter with "New York One News". Brittany introduces herself. Denise Porters says she knows who Brittany is as it's her "job to know" who's who in the Hampton. But, when Kevin is out of his white chick costume and pretends to be "Latrelle Spencer", a famous football player, who has a home in the Hamptons and seems to know everyone, Denise actually believes that Kevin is Latrelle.

Correction: Denise also doesn't recognize that "Brittany" isn't the real Brittany, even though she said that she knows everyone. She could also just be pretending that she knows everyone. Potentially a character mistake, but not a movie mistake.

Ghost Rider (2007)

Corrected entry: After Johnny completes the helicopter stunt he chases the van down the highway. There is very little or no traffic behind them but as soon as he stops the van there is a very long queue behind them.

Correction: The traffic isn't backed up as soon as he stops the van. You don't see any backed up traffic until he's getting ready to leave. A car that was a half a mile behind the van would take less than 30 seconds to get to the van (traveling at highway speeds). It's entirely believeable that the traffic would have backed up in that amount of time.

The Descent (2005)

Corrected entry: Sara falls into a "pool" of blood presumably created by the creatures eating habits. The issue with this is that when blood is released from circulation it coagulates. This means the blood "pool" she is in should be more of a gelatin-like texture.

Stefanie

Correction: The "pool of blood" doesn't just contain blood. If you look carefully you can see a small waterfall in the background of the shots. This is just a pool of water that the blood from the monsters "feeding ground" has run off into. It is essentially extremely bloody water, which wouldn't completely coagulate but would still be rather thick. (On a side note, you can see chunks of coagulated blood on the surface of the pool)

Snakes on a Plane (2006)

Corrected entry: Air traffic control is much more complex than what's depicted in the movie. In reality, the plane would not be communicating with Los Angeles Tower until it was on final approach, and certainly not when it's still 1,500 miles away! Aircraft en route are actually handed off from one Area Control Center to another, each of which controls a very large region of airspace, before being handed off to the tower near the end of the flight.

Correction: There is no stop between Hawaii and LA, so there would be no ACC to hand off to.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: When they show Frank making the "move to a warmer climate," he's in a taxi, smiling, and then you see "Welcome to Las Vegas" signs off the freeway. If I'm not mistaken, those signs are on the freeway coming from LA. And even if they are from a different direction, the LV airport is in Las Vegas, so unless he took a taxi all the way from New Jersey, there's no reason he should have been 'entering' the city.

Correction: This didn't happen in real time, nor did he say "I'm going straight to vegas". He very easily could have taken his time on the way to vegas, made a detour to do some sight seeing and then come in from LA. Or he could have taken a flight to a different airport and driven from there.

Corrected entry: When Marcus brings down the chopper at the end, it somehow falls vertically into the hole, doesn't explode and the blades keep turning when it gets caught up in the bridge. At the very least, the rotors would have shattered.

Correction: First off, the chopper gets caught up by the tail and never actually hits the ground, which explains the lack of exploding. Second of all, the blades just hit the wooden bridge so they cut through the rope and wood instead of shattering on the rock. Thirdly, the blades do actually break off, they just don't shatter. As Selene is walking away the blades slow down and stop; you can see that they are about half their normal length and have jagged edges where they had broken off.

The Island (2005)

Corrected entry: When the police are taking Lincoln and Jordan to the police station, they officer driving stops in the middle of the intersection, making a perfect target to be broadsided by the armored car. He did not stop for a pedestrian, as they were crossing on the cross street, and from the way the driver was staring straight ahead, it is not likely he was making a turn.

Correction: He was waiting to make a left turn when the armored car hit them. When I make a left hand turn I look straight ahead at the oncoming traffic and look for an opening, just like the driver was doing.

We Are Marshall (2006)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Dr. Dedmon is visiting with Jake Lengeyl he mentions that he has had "four months of complicated". With the crash happening in November, four months after would be February. The weather at Jakes house in Ohio was rather nice for February (or even March). The grass is green, trees are full of leaves. The weather outside should be like winter, not spring.

Correction: 4 months from the crash would have been February, but he was referring to the search for a coach. First they were going to cancel the season, then they brought it back, then they went looking for a coach, all of which could easily take a few months or more. Dedmon is talking about 4 complicated months trying to find a coach for the team, not saying that it's been 4 months since the plane crash.

Corrected entry: Why are the vampires slain by the original werewolf transformed into werewolves? It was made clear in the first movie that surviving both infections is what made Speedman's character special, that no one else could, so the vampires slain by the wolf should just have died.

Correction: But this is the *original* werewolf, the "normal" rules don't exactly apply. The original werewolf (and his original minions) couldn't control their shape shifting, but later generations could. It's entirely plausible that the original strain of werewolf "infection" was powerful enough to overtake anything else.

It is never stated that Alexander's men are immortal. They may just be hired men that are trained to clean up the mess. Therefore they would convert if bitten. The problem I have with the end is that, William didn't bite all the men but they seemed to all convert. People don't normally convert by simply being killed by a werewolf. They have to be bitten.

National Treasure (2004)

Corrected entry: When Ben enters the big gala as a janitor, he has to go through a metal detector after putting his supplies on the tray. The problem is when he goes through the metal detector, he doesn't set it off. Later, in the bathroom, he takes off his janitor's clothes and is seen wearing a tuxedo underneath, and an expensive looking watch. The watch should have set off the alarm, but he didn't take it off when he entered.

Correction: We don't see Ben's every move after he enters the gala. He could have very easily had the watch in the toolbelt and just slipped it on after he got inside. Or it just might not have set off the metal detector. My watch cost me several hundred dollars, but I never take it off when I go through metal detectors because it doesn't trigger them.

Corrected entry: During the basketball game, there is a shot where Derek, on offense, is just behind the center line of the court with a man guarding him. In an immediate following shot, he is on the top of the opposing team's three point line and he dribbles in and shoots a lay-up. There is no way he could have gotten there that quickly, especially with someone guarding him.

Correction: The Basketball scene isn't presented in real time. It's more of a thematic cut of the whole game. Showing the entire game would have taken up a good portion of the film.

Casino Royale (2006)

Corrected entry: When 007 returns to the table after Felix stakes his rebuy, a few hands have been played. In a poker tournament, you must rebuy immediately after you lose your money.

Jason Feng

Correction: There is a break in the action once Bond loses all his chips (which is why he runs into Felix, Felix would be at the table if the game was still going). There was plenty of time to rebuy before the action started up again.

The War at Home (2005)

Correction: Actually, the new SAT (as of March '05) has a perfect score of 2400. And over 100 people scored 2400 last year. So getting 1850 is possible.

Corrected entry: Just after Han realizes that they are, in fact, inside a critter instead of a cave on an asteroid, you see Leia and Han stumbling back to the Millennium Falcon. Pay special attention to Han; as he makes his way to the hatch you see the end of his hose come detached and flap around as he is running. So much for the oxygen he was breathing.

Rebecca Bennett

Correction: First off, the masks were just a precaution (there's nothing that would keep the toxic fumes from coming into the Falcon after they land, there's no air-lock on the ship). Secondly, what's to say that he couldn't just hold his breath? I've been scuba diving and the same thing has happened, I just held my breath until I got it back in my mouth.

The Break-Up (2006)

Corrected entry: When Gary comes home with the lemons, he turns on the TV where a baseball game is in progress. After the party, when Brooke complains that he never takes her anywhere, he reminds her that they just went to Ann Arbor for the Michigan-Notre Dame game. It couldn't have been a baseball game, Michigan plays in Comstock Park, basketball season would have been over for at least two months, and football season for four or five.

Correction: Today is October, 26th 2006. The college football season has been going for 8 weeks already, and the baseball season isn't yet over. Baseball season is winding down as college football starts, so they very easily could have gone to a college game and then watched a baseball game on TV.
