Return to Oz (1985)

Corrected entry: When Dorothy escapes from the hospital, the blonde girl only unbuckles one strap, though three are fastened when she first lies down on the bed.

Correction: Watch closely and you will see the doctors tie two (of three) straps over Dorothy - Ozma then unstraps these two straps, not one.

The Grudge (2004)

Corrected entry: Greg has a cell phone and Karen does not attempt to call him from home before chasing him down at the house. It would make sense for her to at least try the cell first.

Nikki

Correction: This really isn't a mistake. This is a nervous character decision and is perfectly plausible - maybe she didn't think to call him.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Mary is introduced, she's riding a bicycle at the school. When she takes Warren home, she no longer has it. (00:03:40)

Correction: Well due to the fact Ted walked her home, she may well have intentionally left her bike at school so she could walk with him. I'm sure she could collect it at school the next day.

Matilda (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Harry Wormwood is at his car dealership he uses a two way drill to turn back the numbers on the odometer. However, he tells his son to watch the speedometer.

Correction: Harry is hardly the most intelligent person, is he. This is more of a character mistake reflecting Harry's knowledge, than a movie mistake.

Hamster

Correction: The odometer readout is built into the speedometer dial. If Harry's son watches the speedometer as Harry told him, he will see the mileage being turned back.

Corrected entry: After Freddy attacks Nancy in the bath, she gets out. When Nancy yells "Mom" you can see she's wearing a necklace. Then when Nancy reaches and grabs a towel, the necklace has gone. The necklace then reappears when her mother enters the bathroom and starts talking to Nancy.

Hamster

Correction: She always has her necklace on. It never disappears, it is just a bit hard to see when she grabs the towel.

Corrected entry: All the people begin leaving the church after the Martian saucer crashes. How did they all know it was safe to go outside within moments after the crash? (01:22:15)

Larry Koehn

Correction: Firstly, they don't leave IMMEDIATELY. Secondly, You can hear Dr. Forrester say "It's quiet. Maybe they have gone." - They left because there were suddenly no explosions and loud noise.

Carrie (1976)

Corrected entry: When Sue and Tommy are talking to Miss Collins about Tommy taking Carrie to the prom, in one shot, when they are seated, 1. Sue's bag strap falls off her shoulder 2. Tommy and Sue are seated far apart. Then in the next shot, Sue's bag strap is back on her shoulder, and they are both sitting side by side.

Correction: There is a long shot of Mrs. Collins before these two shots, so there is enough time for Sue to put the strap back on her shoulder, and for them to move closer to each other.

Gremlins (1984)

Corrected entry: In the beginning when Billy is late for work, he puts out his name plaque and it is upside down. A few moments later, it is right side up.

Correction: The name plaque becomes upright when Mrs. Deagle enters the bank, and gets attacked by Billy's dog. That was plenty of time for him to put it the right way up.

Cruel Intentions (1999)

Corrected entry: Before Cecile tells Katheryn about Sebastian bringing her to orgasm, prior to Katheryn entering, Cecile is sitting on the floor with a drink can. When Katheryn knocks on the door, she gets up and puts down the can. When they return to the couch, the can is gone. (00:53:00)

Correction: You can clearly see that the can is always in the scene, in the same place Cecile left it.

Wrong Turn (2003)

Corrected entry: When Evan is killed, one of his ears is cut off. When four of the characters steal the mountain men's car, his body rolls out, and he has both ears.

Correction: No, he doesn't have both ears. Look closely and you'll clearly see his left ear is missing.

Hamster

Corrected entry: In the scene where Max is carrying Will to bed, you can see that the bottoms of Will's white socks are very dirty. How can this be if he can't walk?

Correction: We establish that what happens in the children's dreams with Freddy, happens in reality too. Will says he can walk in his dreams therefore his socks would get dirty, not only in his dreams, but in reality too.

Bedazzled (2000)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the devil is changing meters and Elliot falls from above, he lands and dents a blue car but after he gets up and starts walking the car is yellow and stays that way.

Correction: You can clearly see as Elliot falls, and walks away, that the roof of the car is a beige colour, while the rest of the car is a dark blue colour. The car never changes - it's both beige and blue.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Nancy is secretly staying awake by drinking coffee and trying to contact Glen, notice her alarm clock on her bedside table. However when she rips her phone out of the wall in frustration, the alarm clock has vanished. This was probably done so they didn't have to keep the time correct on the clock (since you were shown the time in earlier scenes) to allow for cuts, etc.

Correction: Nancy's alarm clock is always in view. It is there through the entire scene of her trying to contact Glen to when she rips out the phone in frustration. It's on her bedroom table, next to her lamp.

Wrong Turn (2003)

Corrected entry: When the trio has taken the yellow car from the mountain men they get stuck in the woods. The right light is switched off, a moment later it is switched on.

Correction: When the trio get stuck in the woods, both car lights are always on.

The Birds (1963)

Corrected entry: Why did Melanie just go right into the bedroom when she could see it was full of killer birds?

Correction: Melanie didn't "go right into the bedroom when she saw it was full of killer birds." She didn't know for sure that there were any birds in the room. She saw a hole in the roof, then stepped forward to get a better look, and she was already inside the room before she realised there was a flock of birds in the room. She then leaned against the door by accident, which closed it and therefore she got attacked.

Mr. Bean (1989)

Correction: I think she is still walking down the stairs from the first time. She is old and senile, and it's also probably part of the gag.

Child's Play 2 (1990)

Corrected entry: How can the doll that the workers are repairing in the beginning talk? All they did was screw in the head without putting any wires in, and the doll's neck shows without any wires showing.

Correction: The doll right at the beginning is the one possessed with the spirit of Charles Lee Ray. Chucky doesn't need to have wires/batteries in him, because he is possessed by a spirit, and can talk and walk about without wires.

Someone Like You (2001)

Corrected entry: When Jane buys the shirt for Ray, she actually takes it off the rack twice.

Correction: She doesn't. She is about to pick one shirt up, then quickly puts it back on the rack, and it's very clear she picks another one up - she just does it quickly, that's all.

Labyrinth (1986)

Corrected entry: When Sarah arrives at the twin riddle doors (one of which later dumps her into the oubliette) and she looks back, the opening she has come through has closed behind her. As you can see by the top-mounted decorations, the wall was simply pushed into place.

Correction: There are no top mounted decorations on the wall. I don't see how the wall looks fake, or like it has been pushed in place because it looks perfectly fine to me.

Mickey Blue Eyes (1999)

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie the last items in an auction are not delivered in time for the auction. Major auction houses have the art in advance (usually a week or more and specially insured) for a showing, so there would not be a question of undelivered items.

Correction: They did order the paintings way in advance, it is just that the delivery company is terrible at deliveries, and if the auction house didn't accept the paintings then they would have no more auctions to do, and would have to cancel the showings.
