Drop Dead Fred (1991)

Corrected entry: In Janie's houseboat, when Elizabeth keeps telling Fred not to touch any buttons, watch the parrot toy hanging on a perch. Between wideshots and close-ups there is a small fan hanging beside it which keeps disappearing / reappearing. (00:40:00)

Hamster

Correction: This is wrong. There's no mistake between these two shots. You're not paying attention to the camera angle change - the fan appears in both shots. The little fan is behind Lizzie's head, which you catch a glimpse of when she keeps repeating "yeah" to Fred. It just appears in front of the parrot when the camera angle changes.

Batman Returns (1992)

Correction: The gun belongs to the killed Clown.

Scream (1996)

Corrected entry: When Sidney is calling out "Dewey, Dewey where are you?" when alone outside, you can see the reflection of someone in a white jacket walking past Dewey's police car. (01:23:30)

Hamster

Correction: "Someone in a white jacket" is a white tree, reflecting in the windshield.

Corrected entry: Just before Hermione gets struck in the chest by the branch of the Whomping Willow, if you play the scene in slow motion you will notice Hermione has padding underneath her pink jacket. (01:25:25)

Hamster

Correction: Slow motion mistakes are not allowed under site's rules.

Sacha

Correction: The film is set in the summers of 1996 and then 1997, making I Still Know What You Did Last Summer set in 1998.

Correction: This is due to the multiple camera angles used in the scene. The straw doesn't change angle.

Mean Girls (2004)

Correction: If you watch carefully, we never actually see Karen set the bag down the first time. She may have hesitated for some reason, then finally decided where to put it.

Batman Returns (1992)

Correction: A similar mistake was already submitted and corrected. She doesn't hit him in the center, it's always to his right side. In fact, in the scene she made it a point to attack him there since she knows his chest is protected.

Batman Returns (1992)

Corrected entry: The crib changes buoyancy throughout the opening credits; for example in one shot the crib slides down a chute and sinks very low in the water. In the next shot the crib is out much higher. (00:02:20)

Hamster

Correction: The speed of going down the chute is what caused the carriage to sink lower in the water. After that it raises back up.

Bishop73

Correction: There is a red smudge where 7:11 was written. There was enough time for Sheldon to go out get Red Vines, so there was time for him to rub it off when on his own.

Ssiscool

Correction: The rotating of the cans is due to the various camera angles being used in the shot. Same with the straws.

The White Asparagus Triangulation - S2-E9

Corrected entry: Sheldon is an obsessive compulsive and picky person and he picks a pre-designated seat in all places. When he enters Penny's apartment to talk to her he promptly sits on the couch, which was not where he chose 'his seat' to be in the last episode of the first season. It seems out of character that he would sit there when he has a ready-chosen spot and that his nature is as it is.

Hamster

Correction: In the season 1 episode mentioned, Sheldon says he thinks it could be his spot. Not decided, so there is no reason to assume he is completely set on that spot and he could have changed it.

The Haunting (1999)

Corrected entry: When Nell opens the ledger which lists the dead children, in the first shot there are no people crossed out in the ledger. In the following closeup, there are. (00:55:25)

Hamster

Correction: When she opens the ledger, you can just see the first 1 or 2 pages over her shoulder. In the following closeup she has already turned more than a few pages, where you can see the first few crossed names. This isn't necessarily a mistake, but a) a different page and b) it indicates that Hugh Crain didn't start killing the kids from the very beginning of his company.

Mr. Deeds (2002)

Corrected entry: When Deeds slides down the banister, he flies off the end. If you go frame by frame, you can easily tell it is a stuntman. (00:44:40)

Hamster

Correction: According to the site rules, if it requires frame-by-frame analysis then it's not a valid mistake.

Scream (1996)

Correction: The 'hair' is just thread from Ghostface's costume - you can see it swing down from the hand/sleeve as he puts his hand around her.

The Waterboy (1998)

Corrected entry: When it shows all the girls around the table, the mascot picks up a bottle of alcohol and drinks from it, even though the bottle cap is obviously still on. (00:25:30)

Hamster

Correction: Not only is the bottle cap not on, we can see the bottle cap actually on the table. And when the mascot takes a drink, we can see the amount of alcohol in the bottle goes down.

Rat Race (2001)

Corrected entry: On the Lucy bus, one Lucy throws a cigarette out of the window which then flies out in the air and then through another open window, into another Lucy's hair. However in the next shot as the Lucy's bat the Lucy whose hair is on fire with handbags, all the windows beside the on-fire Lucy are now closed, despite there being an open one seconds earlier. (00:53:55)

Hamster

Correction: Actually, the window is open the entire time. The window on the coach is a slide open window and is pushed to the side to open. In the shot of the Lucy's beginning to pat the Lucy on fire on the head their bags, the part of the window that was visible was in fact the window that had been pushed to the side and the opposing window.

The Ring Two (2005)

Corrected entry: Rachel climbs into the ambulance so that she can witness Jake's dead body. When she unzips the bodybag, his face is angled toward her (lying to his left). In the next shot his face is facing straight up to the ceiling. (00:14:05)

Hamster

Correction: His face is completely morphed and disfigured. I am watching the film this second and I do not see that. I believe his face is just so messed up, big, and crooked, that it looks as if it is pointing slightly left, as well as straight up.

Corrected entry: When Julie sees Ben Willis at the club, he has two hands despite losing one in the first movie. (00:13:00)

Hamster

Correction: That's because he's not really there! Julie thinks he is but he's at the island waiting for her to arrive. She's seeing things.

Hook (1991)

Corrected entry: After the nursery room windows open themselves, the bedcovers fly up off Jack and Maggie. As the covers pass offscreen we hear both Jack and then Maggie scream, but in the shot of Maggie as we hear her screaming her mouth does not move in any kind of sync with the scream. (00:22:25)

Hamster

Correction: Maggie's is more of a gasp, and her mouth reflects this.
