Trivia: When Sam and Fiona introduce themselves as detectives they use the names Cagney and Lacey. Sharon Gless who plays Michael's mother played Detective Cagney in the 80's show Cagney and Lacey.

Not Fade Away - S5-E22

Trivia: When the gang are in Spike's apartment where Angel is assigning them to go after members of the Circle of the Black Thorn, Spike says "First off, I'm not wearing any amulets. No bracelets, broaches, beads, pendants, pins, or rings. " This is a reference to how Spike dies in the series finale of Buffy by wearing an amulet to destroy the Hellmouth.

Trivia: In the episode "Renewal," Logan talks about a dream where his old partner , Lenny, comes to him and says he's not dead. But when he wakes up he realizes that Lenny is dead. Lenny was Logan's partner on the original "Law and Order" series in the mid 1990s. The actor who played Lenny (Jerry Orbach) quit the series in 2003, but died of cancer a year later.

Trivia: Joss Whedon is known for giving hints for future events. In Graduation Day Part 2 while Buffy is in a coma dream she speaks to Faith. Faith says "Oh yeah. - Miles to go - Little Ms. Muffet counting down from 7-3-0." 730 means 730 days (2 years). If you recall the poem that states miles to go before I sleep. In 730 days Buffy will die in the finale of season 5.

Trivia: Joss Whedon hints at future events in season 4 during Lindsay's song in "Dead End." It hints about the coming of Jasmine: "The sky's gonna open, People gonna pray and crawl, Gonna rain down fire, Gonna burn us all," and "Pretty as a picture, She is like a golden dream." All references to Jasmine.

Trivia: Because the episode 'Tinder Box' closely resembled (and was likely based on) the fire at a nightclub in Rhode Island that killed 100 people, the local CBS affiliate decided not to air the episode so soon after the event.

Trivia: Xander was originally supposed to be the character that died in Chosen. He was suppose to die saving Dawn. Since Emma Caufield didn't want to be tied to doing any future Buffy projects the script was changed so that Anya would die. The script is the same except the parts at the end written for Anya and Xander were switched as well as the parts for Andrew and Dawn.

Easter egg: On the second DVD from select the episode 'Once More With Feeling.' In the following screen go to the 'Language Selection' and there highlight the menu entry 'English for the hearing-impaired.' Now press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and the Buffy 'B' will be highlighted giving you access to 3-minutes worth of footage from the soundtrack signing at Tower Records in Los Angeles. On the fifth disc select the episode 'Normal Again' and then go to the 'Language Selection.' Highlight 'English for the hearing-impaired' and then press the 'Left'. You will now see a sign saying that there is a 'Computer Download' available for the episode call sheet.

Trivia: In episode 18 of season 5 after Connor kills the demon he tells Angel that he doesn't like people touching his neck. This is a reference to getting his throat cut by Angel in episode 22 of season 4. No one knows that Connor just got his memories back.

Easter egg: This is on the Special 10th anniversary DVD. On second disc of the set go to the 'Special Features' section. There, select the 'Critics Commentary' menu option, followed by the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control. This will take you to 3 minutes of rolling DVD production credits, accompanied by cool background music. Also on the second disc of the set, select the 'K-Billy Radio Interactive Radio' and choose the last channel on the far right. Then, press the 'Enter' key on your remote control. This will allow you to view a re-enactment of the infamous ear-cutting scene from the film, as played out by some action figures, with the original footage from the film running in a small window.

Easter egg: From the disc's main menu, go to the 'Special Features' section. On each of the three Special Features menus that are in this section a hidden feature can be found. On the first page, highlight 'G'ed up' and then press the 'Right' arrow to highlight Cameron Diaz's mid section. Press 'Enter' now and you will see a 20 second montage clip of the girls. On the second page of the 'Special Features,' highlight 'Wired Angels' and then press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a box on Bosley's chest and pressing 'Enter' now will give you some behind-the-scenes footage featuring Drew Barrymore as she's having a plaster cast made of her face. The third Easter Egg can be found on the third 'Special Features' page. Highlight the arrow pointing left on the menu screen and then press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight another box, which will give you access to short behind-the-scenes sequence, including a more than passable impression of Christopher Walken by Sam Rockwell.

Trivia: About 7 seconds into the opening theme you see the face of a young man looking up (Just before you see Angel with the sword) That young man is Phantom Dennis. He is only seen once in episode 5 of the 1st season- Room with an Vu. After that he's an unseen "character" until season 4.
