Other mistake: In the credits, Jeremy Gabriel (Robin's new 'boyfriend') is shown as "Mark" but it is "Mike" throughout the episode.
Continuity mistake: Robin says that she doesn't like team sports, and so she only played tennis in high school. However, throughout the show, Robin often talks about playing hockey during school, which is a team sport.

Continuity mistake: After Lily takes off her ring in the bar, she is seen in a later shot with the ring on her left hand.

Continuity mistake: When Lily says "No dibs" and touches her nose, she does it with her right arm/hand, but in the next shot, her left arm/hand is on it. (00:05:55)

Continuity mistake: When Marshall is on the phone to Barney, the green highlighter jumps back and forth from on the desk to on top of the open book.
Answer: After running the marathon for Marshall with no training, he's allowed to ride the subway for free. While sat on the train, the muscles in his legs start to seize up after the marathon to the point it is painful to move his legs. This is why he can't move them. It's the same reason your body aches after a good session at the gym the day before.
