ER

Under Control - S6-E16

Continuity mistake: When Carter goes into the lounge, he leans his crutches against the lockers and then moves his bag off his shoulder. One crutch falls to the floor, then the bag, then the other crutch. When the shot changes to show these items on the floor, the bag is lying neatly on top of the crutches - an impossibility due to the way they all fell.

Do You See What I See? - S4-E10

Continuity mistake: The paramedics bring Lenny by ambulance and are taking him out of the back of it - Carter picks up the chart from the gurney as the paramedic describes the patient - but suddenly the chart is back on the gurney - we should have seen Carter do this but we don't.

Something New - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: When Anna leaves the little boy Skyler's room, she has his chart under her right arm - but when she gets through the door and joins Doug in the hall, the chart has transferred to under her left arm, with no time for the change.

The Right Thing - S2-E14

Continuity mistake: Susan is at home, making drinks for Mark and her - she pours them drinks from the blender and leaves a little bit of liquid in the blender. They head for the living room and the blender suddenly has about 3 inches of liquid in it.

It's Not Easy Being Greene - S2-E13

Continuity mistake: Harper and Carter are in bed and his hand is bunched under the bedspread several inches from her hand. The next shot shows his hand is up by hers, touching her bottle of water, with no time for natural movement.

Be Still My Heart - S6-E13

Continuity mistake: When Mark gets up from the snowbank and chases Elizabeth into the ER, his red bag is over his right arm. When the shot changes to show him entering the hospital, his bag is over his left arm - he wouldn't have had time to change it.

Sticks and Stones - S5-E17

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Leonelli is being loaded into the ambulance, someone throws a large bottle of dark liquid that lands on the right side of the back window - however, when the shot changes, the liquid is running down the left side of the window.

A Bloody Mess - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the show, Peter is feeding Reese in the hospital cafeteria. Reese has a bowl of pablum that is in the middle of his high chair tray. The next shot shows the bowl way over to the left, even though there was no time for the change in position.

Baby Shower - S2-E15

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the show, Peter is scraping the ice off his windshield, but the scraped pattern we see from inside the car is different from the pattern outside. When the car won't start, he gets out, and more of the windshield has been scraped in the meantime.

The Longer You Stay - S8-E2

Continuity mistake: Inside the first 10 minutes, Greene finishes a trauma and his shift and heads upstairs to take Ella from Corday, so she can start her shift. Next, we go back down to the ER, where Benton and Finch are assessing a trauma victim. In the background you see Greene checking an X-ray film, but he has meant to already leave with his baby.

CaƱon City - S12-E1

Continuity mistake: Sam and Luka are driving to Colorado, presumably in a hurry, to try to find her missing son, Alex. While their driving in the daytime, you can notice inconsistencies in the traffic and road. They are driving on the interstate, but getting passed up by semi trucks. The trucks are not slowly passing them either. It's almost as if they are stopped and the trucks are whirring past them. Then in one shot you see a car change to the left and start to pass, but when the camera angle changes, you see Sam passing up a semi truck at a high rate of speed. A moment later, as their still chatting, an exterior shot of the car shows them changing to the left lane to pass a truck, however the lines in the road are yellow, meaning they are not on the interstate anymore.

Beyond Repair - S8-E11

Continuity mistake: Chuny tells Abby that Weaver is looking for her because she didn't call Child Services for a patient. Abby then goes to a phone to call. While she's on the call she hands Malik some sporting event tickets. The next scene shows Weaver out on a date when she bumps into Malik and Susan on their way to the sporting event. The very next scene is back in the ER where Abby is telling Carter that Lewis (Susan) just discharged a patient. The scenes don't line up, as they give the impression that Weaver, Malik and Lewis are all on shift at the hospital, when they're out on the town at the same time.

Everything Old Is New Again - S1-E26

Continuity mistake: When people start to dance at the reception, there is a shot of Susan, Doug and Mark. Trivia: Doug Ross frequently hung his head low, appearing ashamed or thoughtful or privately amused, depending on the scene. This wasn't just an element of the character: George Clooney had taken to writing his lines on papers, sheets, and other props.
