Hydra Attacks: Part 2 - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: When the first Spider-Man is thrown into the car and bus, he uses the street lamp that's hanging over the middle of the bus to lift the car up with his webs; however, in the previous shot, the street lamp is near the rear of the bus and isn't really close enough to be hanging over it. It completely changes position to fit the action.

Hydra Attacks: Part 2 - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: From the flagpole, Spider-Man pins 2 goblin soldiers to the building and his web covers their torsos, including their shoulders and all the way up to under their chins. When it cuts to the close up, they're still stuck to the wall, but there's no web at all seen, even though we see their shoulders, necks, and chests.

Green Lantern: Can you fly?
Batman: In a plane.
Green Lantern: Wait, you're not just some guy in a bat costume, are you? [Batman smiles.] Are you freaking kidding me? What? Nobody asked you to prom so now you dress as a bat and prowl around your parents' basement?

Pee - S13-E14

Continuity mistake: When they shoot the monkeys dead, the one on the viewer's left head tilts down with his chin to his right. In the immediate next shot, his chin is to his left.

Bot Seeks Bot - S5-E8

Continuity mistake: At the Guild underground club, when Dr. Venture and Quizboy are on the wheel of torture, they switch position relative to the various torture methods when the camera zooms in, even though the outer ring and center spin together. For example you see Quizboy's head under "Rail Reaper", but then it's under "Burnt Slumber" and later "McPain's Anguish."

A Reptile Dysfunction - S5-E8

Continuity mistake: When the couple is in the boat when the creature appears, the woman is taking a picture and holding her phone in her left hand, she turns around and her left hand is raised and her right hand is on the boat edge. When the camera angle changes, her left hand is now on the boat and her right hand is lowered and holding the phone (confirmed when the camera angle changes again and she's in the same position, holding the phone in her right hand).

Poison - S1-E7

Trivia: At Loretta Marlon's plea hearing, her lawyer mentions a ham sandwich after ADA Carver says the evidence was good enough for a grand jury to indict her. This is a reference to the ease district attorneys have in getting indictments. It is said it originated from a former New York chief judge, Sol Wachtler, who said "district attorneys now have so much influence over grand juries that by and large they could get them to indict a ham sandwich." Later, Tom Wolfe used the reference in the novel "The Bonfire of the Vanities."

Continuity mistake: When the police are watching the funeral, Kim hugs the 2nd man with her right arm over his shoulder and around his neck, and her left arm behind his back. When it cuts to the surveillance camera, Kim's right arm is lowered and holding his arm.

Palimpsest - S1-E6

Other mistake: During the credits, it lists Gloria Mundy as the actress who played Alison Araya. However, Araya is the actress's real name and Mundy is the character's name.

Question: Was there a specific reason Mark Hamill got 2nd billing (other than he's Luke Skywalker)? Was the billing order based on how much they each got paid? I don't recall seeing his picture on any The Force Awakens posters and it didn't seem like they needed to add hype to the movie by billing "big name" celebrities. Of course that leads to asking why Hamill reportedly got paid 7 figures for his "role" when the actual stars got less than half or a third of that. I know they're all in unions, so is it a union thing? Or just a better agent thing?

Bishop73

Chosen answer: The actors playing Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo Ren were mostly unknown, while Mark Hamill is famous worldwide as both a screen actor and voice actor. The billing order was likely based on their fame and then on their new roles. It's not a union thing, minimum wage in the Screen Actor's Guild is far lower than what they were paid. It's a combination of bigger star, better agent, and the future of the series.

The Blacklist (2013)

Factual error: When Eddie throws Roger into the bar's storeroom (after Roger was breaking plates on his head), there's a Lucky Strike ad poster with the slogan "Be Happy, Go Lucky." However, the Be Happy, Go Lucky ad campaign didn't start until after 1948 when BDO took over advertising, and the film is set in 1947.

Pacific Rim (2013)

Question: Was there anything in the film stating why the Jaegers couldn't be remotely controlled? I get the premise of 2 pilots and drifting, but it seems like the robots weren't controlled by cables and wires and the interface could have been off-site, just like piloting drones.

Bishop73

Chosen answer: It is stated that due to the sheer size of the jaegers it is incredibly complex to actually pilot one. So complex that advanced mind-linking technology was developed for the sole purpose of controlling the jaegers in combat. Presumably that complexity necessitates having to actually be inside the jaeger to operate it efficiently. There is also the possibility that drifting technology has a short range or must be hardwired into the technology you wish to control.

BaconIsMyBFF

Also, you have to consider transmission latency, the amount of data that has to be transferred, and the power of the transmitters that would be required to maintain that bandwidth. Considering that it requires two pilots to take the strain, I'm guessing that the bandwidth would be a lot more than you get from a wireless gigabit connection. And, of course, the aliens could probably figure out how to jam wireless transmissions if they wanted to. A direct connection is more reliable.

Lucifer (2015)

Manly Whatnots - S1-E4

Other mistake: When Lucifer and Chloe are talking about the Player after-party, the same extra walks by twice (in the same direction without having enough time to double back). After Lucifer says "sex afterward" and it cuts back to Chloe the women is seen and then when Chloe walks away.

Lucifer (2015)

White Knights - S1-E4

Character mistake: After Ray Palmer says he's an Eagle Scout, he says to Leonard Snart, "be helpful to others, scout's motto." The Boy Scout's motto (including Eagle Scouts) is "Be Prepared." "To help others at all times" is part of the Scout's oath, but that's different than its motto and not something an Eagle Scout would mix up.

Suggested correction: It was a joke, that applied to the situation. Wasn't meant to be literal.

DetectiveGadget85

There is zero indication of any joke, implied or otherwise, especially since he could have correctly said "oath."

All-Nighter - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When they are sitting around in sleeping bags, talking about hooking up in the store, part of the sleeping bag behind Glenn is straight up, forming a point. But in the next shot, the top part is folded over, so there's no point.
