Sleepy Hollow (1999)

Corrected entry: When Johnny Depp is axing the Headless Horseman's tree, he is covered in blood. The camera pans to the boy and Christina Ricci, and then back to Johnny Depp, and he is magically clean again.

Correction: There's never a shot of Crane "magically" clean. When the camera first changes to the children and back, you can see the same about of the tree's blood. There is a shot where he's not covered in as much blood when the camera goes to the children and back, when he has removed some limbs, but he's off camera and could easily wiped some blood off his face, so he could see better.

Bishop73

Really obvious the blood was gone from his face. A more realistic scene would have shown at least some blood smears.

Family Guy (1999)

Correction: This was done as a joke and a call back to an earlier joke where Stewie says "at least it's not raining" and then gets stabbed. The effects aren't permanent, just like all the times Peter's been mortally wounded only to appear normal in the next scene.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: Every time the Hulk appears, the military always open fire on him with different weapons. Considering that tranquilizer darts and bullets bounce off him, the sonic cannon didn't help and getting him angry increases his strength, they would have finally realised he truly is unstoppable and given up.

Correction: Why do you think they would give up? Bulletproof glass can be shot through if you put enough rounds in it, so they think enough rounds could weaken him in a similar manner. Additionally, they may be firing hoping he has a weak spot somewhere.

Bishop73

When in the bottling plant, Blonsky and the other soldiers open fire on the Hulk but when they do, they see that the bullets bounce off. Their weapons didn't work there so it should be quite clear to them that they wouldn't work at all no matter how many times they face the Hulk.

Not only that but, it's been shown at the beginning of the movie that General Ross has been collecting information about Bruce every time he turns into the Hulk. Even though it's never seen, this information could also include being impervious to bullets when he turns into the Hulk.

Corrected entry: Kirk and McCoy start climbing the turbo shaft then Spock realises he can get them up the shaft faster with his rocket boots so he goes to get them. Then he comes down from above them which means he had to go up to whatever deck his boots were on to retrieve them. But if he was able to get that far up the ship without Sybok's soldiers spotting him, why not just have Kirk and McCoy go with him to the boot level instead of climbing the shaft from the very bottom?

Correction: Spock would have several advantages of going on his own. For one, it would be easier for one man to hide and avoid Sybok's soldiers then it would be for 3 men. And there would be less noise with just Spock going. Additionally, Spock's Vulcan hearing would make it easier for him to avoid the soldiers and he wouldn't have to communicate with the other two when someone is approaching or tell them where to go.

Baby Talk - S6-E6

Corrected entry: When the gang is thinking about baby names, Esther is brought up. We then see Marshall and Barney at the strip club where Esther shoots out a bunch of playing cards and one sticks to Barney's forehead. He peels it off and says "That WAS my card!" But he never looked at the face of the card, so he couldn't possibly have known which card it was.

Knever

Correction: He said this as a joke. Esther wasn't doing a magic trick and Barney never picked a card in the first place.

Corrected entry: When Will and the girl discover they are siblings, she gets up and walks away. It shows Will look to the right (his left) and contemplate this reality. The very next shot, with no time for position change, shows her with a window behind her. The window is reflecting Will, who is now looking up with his head leaned back.

Quantom X

Correction: The next shot is a different scene. When she gets up and Will looks to his left, they are on the platform. When the window is behind her reflecting Will, they are now on the train, and she is sitting down, not standing.

Operation -- Annihilate! - S1-E30

Corrected entry: When given the option of using intense light to kill the creatures, McCoy says that he could probably rig a cubicle in the bio lab to test the theory. However, that would require him to know engineering, and one of his caustic quotes is "I'm a doctor, not an engineer!", unless he requisitioned Engineering to help.

Movie Nut

Correction: Rigging a cubicle with lights wouldn't require engineering skills. He just meant he can set up some intense lights and focus them on a certain spot, not that he'll have to wire anything or build a special device.

The Nice Guys (2016)

Corrected entry: Holland tells Janet to "Call 911". It is supposed to be 1977 and the first city in California to implement 911 service was San Diego in 1980.

foxine

Correction: The first city in California to implement the 9-1-1 system was Gustine, in March 1970, and by 1972, the 9-1-1 system was installed countywide. In 1972, Assembly Bill 515 was passed, mandating that 9-1-1 be implemented statewide. Although it took until 1985 to be statewide, 9-1-1 services were available in 1977.

Bishop73

First and foremost, I can't express enough admiration for the precision. That being said, you do say that it wasn't implemented statewide until 1985, and in fact a quick googling returns reputable sources such as a 1985 article from the LA Times that says that it was implemented in the city only in October 1984. Overall, isn't it fair to say then that in 1977 two Los Angels kids wouldn't just say "call 911" like we do today? I think the entry needs radical rewriting or flat-out reposting, but overall there is some merit.

Chariots of Fire (1981)

Corrected entry: In several tracking shots of the stadium the four-colour Chinese flag is flying from the top stands but China did not send its first Olympic competitor until 1932.

Douglas Bell

Correction: Although China did not compete in the 1924 Olympics, they were still represented and attended, so it is correct that the flag is flown, as it was in 1924.

Double Jeopardy (1999)

Corrected entry: Libby is in prison for 6 years. Her friend makes a birthday cake for Maddy's 8th birthday. So how is it that Matty is only 2 years old when she gets locked up?

Correction: Matty is 4 years old, not 2, when Libby is locked up.

Zootopia (2016)

Corrected entry: Judy Hopps leaves a pair of earbuds on a table in her room and goes to begin her first day as an officer of the Zootopia Police Department. That evening when she returns to her room, the earbuds are gone.

Correction: The table the earbuds are on is in the dark, making them hard to see, but they are there. The submitter may be thinking the earbuds were on the other table away from the door, which is in the light and no earbuds are seen, but that's the wrong table.

Zootopia (2016)

Corrected entry: When Judy is performing her play about how you can be whatever you want to be, the ketchup from the stage disappears.

Correction: Judy has the ketchup removed as part of cleaning the stage during the performance (a common practice). You see when her box comes down it covers the ketchup and then you see her pull the red streamers into the box as well. When the box is raised, the ketchup and the streamers are gone, she could have easily placed them in a holding area inside the box to get them off stage when the box is raised.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: The arrow sticking out of Coin's chest in the overhead shot of her lying dead is obviously larger in diameter than the arrow fired by Katniss.

Correction: No, it's the same sized arrow.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: On the map Gregory has of the camp, the compass has the points labeled wrong. South and East are the wrong way round. (00:44:40)

Ssiscool

Correction: The map was drawn by a kid, showing that even though Gregory acts smart, he's still a kid who doesn't know which ways South and East are.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Nancy is in the hospital after the drug store scene, after her mother signs the paper work to sedate her, you can see the claw on the actress playing the nurse when she pulls the curtain back to reveal Nancy is no longer there.

darmiccah

Correction: Those are only the actress' long fingers, she never has claws on (although the scene may have been shot to make you think they were Freddy's claws).

What Goes Around, Comes Around - S3-E18

Corrected entry: Even though technology could be made to remotely control a person, they'd still have to have a body tailored for certain activities. Zoe has never trained for diving, and thus her body (and presumable all of the other divers) is not used to performing those kinds of feats.

Knever

Correction: It doesn't matter what Zoe's body isn't used to, it only matters what she is capable of (so the device couldn't make Zoe fly, but could certainly make her dive).

The Medallion (2003)

Corrected entry: Throughout the film all cars have errors in license plates, In Ireland since 1992 all cars start off with last two digits of the car's year, county registered in and order registered in. Example: The first car registered in Dublin this year would be "05 D 1" the 922nd registered in Cork would be "05 C 922" I can't remember the exact format of the plates but remember it's factually incorrect.

Correction: You need to provide a specific example because all the plates I see have the correct format. 2-digit year of registration (new plates are only issued the year they're first registered, so "99" or "01" will be seen, they won't all have the same first 2-digits. Then we see "D" for Dublin followed by a 6-digit number, and all with the hyphens in the correct place.

U.S. Marshals (1998)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Wesley Snipes is arrested and being questioned, when he leans on the table to break the glasses, the lenses smash whilst he pulls one of the arms off, but later on when the man goes to put them on whilst reading in bed, the lenses are intact.

Correction: The lens never break, in fact, when the fall to the floor, both lenses are intact.

A View to a Kill (1985)

Corrected entry: When Bond makes a copy of the check to see the amount, the copy is readable. However, since it was made with a face down copier, the copy should have reversed.

Movie Nut

Correction: The image does not appear on the side of the paper that was in contact with the checkbook, which would be a mirror image. Bond flips the paper over to reveal the image (which essentially becomes a mirror image of a mirror image making it appear readable).
