Hogan's Heroes (1965)

Other mistake: As the Governor looks at the gorilla sentries, he is looking about forty-fiveĀ° across the aim of the cannon next to him. When the cannon is fired at the gorillas, they are directly downrange of the cannon. After they're killed, he's again looking across the cannon's aim.

Movie Nut

Continuity mistake: As the two gorillas watch the approaching humans, one gorilla raises the telescope, then after the angle change, raises it again.

Hold That Tiger - S1-E2

Schultz: [To Hogan about Newkirk in a Gestapo uniform] I must report this. It would be worth my life if I do not report this.
Hogan: It's only until tomorrow. He's gonna take it off again.
Schultz: Aahhh.
Hogan: After he steals the tank...
Schultz: Ohh?
Hogan: from the Panzer division...
Schultz: Ohhh?
Hogan: and brings it here into the barracks.
Schultz: Oh, I see nothing, I was not even here, I did not even get up this morning.

Trivia: In the area Caesar yells "Lousy human bastards!", the black uniforms of the Ape patrol look a lot like the Nazi SS uniforms.

I, Robot (2004)

Continuity mistake: In the interrogation room, the dents Sonny made in the table disappear as he re-examines the photos of Lanning, and asks questions.

Movie Nut

Other mistake: As the opening credits roll, the helicopter that brought officials in is taking off. Trouble is, the sand is rushing in back under the chopper rather than blowing away from the rotor wash.

Movie Nut

Continuity mistake: After Zaius warns Taylor not to go to the Forbidden Zone, Taylor turns the horse to face Cornelius. In the closeup after Zaius tells Taylor "You may not like what you find", he turns the horse around again.

Star Trek (1966)

Other mistake: As Taylor realises what man did in the years from his leaving until his return, he is slamming his fist on the dirt screaming "Damn you all to hell." In the first Apes movie, he didn't give this final line until he was amid the surf waters, but here the water was a couple feet from him.

Movie Nut

Continuity mistake: The opening is a repeat of the ending of the first Apes movie. In the dialogue between Zaius and Taylor, Taylor turns the horse toward Cornelius twice.

Movie Nut

Continuity mistake: After Taylor dismounts the second ape, he attacks the ape, and the whip/rope used is dropped and Taylor is a few feet from it. In the closeup, he suddenly has it in hand.

Movie Nut

Revealing mistake: After Taylor gets up from being dragged in the square, another ape tries to rope him. As this occurs, the stuntman is easily distinguished.

Movie Nut

Chosen answer: Dr. Zaius did know the true history of man and ape, but he deliberately hid the truth from the other apes. For Zaius (and other high-ranking apes who were guarding the secret), it would be shameful and demoralizing to ever admit that humans were far superior to apes in the past and that they could, potentially, conquer the apes. In more than one scene (such as the paper airplane scene in the first film), we see Zaius obviously frustrated that Taylor's very existence threatens to expose the truth.

Charles Austin Miller

Other mistake: As the Apes first appear on horseback, as the second one from the camera's left turns around, you can see that the rifle doesn't have an ammo clip in it.
