Sin City (2005)

Corrected entry: After Hartigan kills Junior, there is plenty of visible blood on his jacket. However, when he and Nancy get back to her car, the blood has disappeared. He couldn't have changed jackets because there is still a bullet hole in the right sleeve where a guard shot him.

Correction: Like in a couple of other scenes, color appears and disappears, so the blood would not be noticeably visible. It's just part of the unique coloring effects.

Corrected entry: Dodgeball begins with Ben Stiller looking back to his overweight self in 1987, then states that it is six years later. So the story is supposed to be taking place in 1993. Yet, when Vince Vaughan is sulking in a bar and Lance Armstrong scolds him that he must also have a possibly terminal disease because Armstrong didn't give up when he had testicular, brain and another cancer and he went on to win five Tours de France in spite of this. Armstrong won his fifth Tour in 2003. What's ten years to make a point, right?

Correction: The commercial that Vince is watching states that it's six years later - that doesn't mean the film was set then too.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Brad Pitt is first shown performing a killing, he is playing poker with three people, until "Lucky" (the target, the original fourth poker player) comes into the room. Brad shoots him from under the armpit, then shoots the other three in quick succession. Then he is seen leaving the room and looking at the cards of the hand left unplayed. The table, chips and card have remained in place and there are no dead bodies in the room, though he has just killed four people there.

Correction: You can't see the three guys he killed, since they fell out of their chairs and were laying on the floor. Lucky fell near the door, so you couldn't see him either since his body was on the floor, behind the chair that Brad was sitting on.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the film, Magneto & Mystique are approaching the guarded Cerebro machine. There are around 8 guards, but when Magneto pulls all the pins out of their grenades, and then collects them into a pile, there are around 30 pins.

Correction: High chance that the guards carried more than just one grenade each.

Heavyweights (1995)

Corrected entry: When the campers are having a party after capturing the leader, food is flying everywhere. But when they wake up, you see that there is no food in their hair, just on their faces.

Correction: Watch the scene again, several campers have food everywhere, including their hair.

Old School (2003)

Corrected entry: During the scene where Luke Wilson tells the fraternity that they are subject to a review, Vince Vaughn leaves the restaurant and tells Wilson that he built Speaker City from the ground up and he could barely read. However, at the academics test, Vince Vaughn is able to read a complicated question into the microphone.

Correction: That comment was to point out that although Vince Vaughan is successful, hes not too smart of a guy. The phrase was only meant figuratively.

Toolio

Correction: Vaughn is also trying to get out of taking the review by lying about him not being able to read. As you see a earlier in that scene where he just pays for his food, gets up and leaves instead of taking the review and Luke Wilson has to talk him into it.

Corrected entry: When Carmen flees the bridal shop after her fitting, she grabs her purse off of a chair, but not her pink shoes. The shoes are under the chair as she heads down the stairs, and then there is a shot of her bare feet running down the street. However, when she gets back to her father's house later, she has them on.

Correction: Those weren't her shoes. She grabs her tan sandals and purse as she's running out the store. The pink shoes were for her dress.

Sin City (2005)

Corrected entry: When we first see Dwight in the apartment, his shoes are bright red. When Brittany Murphy's character sticks her head out of the window to see Dwight standing on the ledge, the shoes are back to black and white. When the camera angle switches, the shoes are red again.

Mark Bernhard

Correction: This is just an effect used for the movie - sometimes blood is red, sometimes it's white.

Top Gun (1986)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, how did the flight deck crew know to cheer about what happened in the air? There would be no way for the news to spread THAT quickly for them to cheer & surround the F-14's to congratulate them when they first land back on the carrier.

Ken Hogan

Correction: There is plenty of time for the crew to be informed of the news via headphones that the crew wore, PA system or just word of mouth.

13 Going On 30 (2004)

Corrected entry: Wouldn't Matt be the least bit suspicious that Lucy, of all people, is in Jenna's office, looking through her stuff? I mean, Matt's not the brightest guy, but he should be suspicious.

Correction: They work at the same company and are partners, so there's no reason why he would suspect anything.

Corrected entry: When Jackie is driving the Lamborgini and then turns it into a 180 in the first shot the ground is covered with sand to help the car spin. Then in the next scene there is nothing.

Correction: I've watched this scene a few times and that is no sand on the ground. It's nothing more than debris.

Corrected entry: When Vernita Green and The Bride are in the kitchen, Vernita Green says the line "Very funny, b*tch". The shot then changes to The Bride, who is holding a coffee mug given to her earlier in the scene. But when Vernita yells "VERY FUNNY" and shoots at The Bride, the coffee mug changes from The Bride resting the handle on her fingers to her holding the cup.

Correction: She could have changed her position between shots. No mistake there.

Sin City (2005)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie when Bruce Willis is trying to find the little girl, his tie has some kind of pattern. When he gets to that dock place his tie is all white. Obviously he wouldn't stop his frantic chase for the girl to change his tie.

Correction: The effects the movie produces can easily alter patterns and such as they did with colors and blood. This is just another effect.

Metro (1997)

Corrected entry: In the cablecar-pursuit the cablecar crashes into a car and the car rolls over, when it is upside down you can see that there is no one in the car (not even a dummy).

Correction: Right before the tram hits the car, everyone runs out of it.

Toolio

Corrected entry: In the scene where the green Dodge falls off of the bridge, you can use slow-motion play to see extra explosives go off causing a huge splash. This happens before the Dodge actually hits the water.

Correction: That splash was from the guard rail that the truck ripped apart.

The Goonies (1985)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie when Rosalita finds the jewels in Mikey's marble bag, she tells Mikey's mum to hold out her hands while she tips them out, Mikey's mum holds out both hands but throughout the movie she has had her one arm in a sling.

Correction: You can still put your hand out even though it's in a sling, just not as far out, which is what she did.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Lyle (the farmer) is getting ready to shoot the cow, you should see a bus coming down the road because seconds later the bus pulls up.

Correction: You can't see the road when it cuts to the view of Lyle. All you see is bushes and shrubbery in the way.

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Corrected entry: Greg goes to investigate his parents' whipped cream antics in the bedroom. When he enters the room, Bernie Focker has whipped cream on his face, Roz Focker has it on her chest, and then she places a towel on top of her chest. In the next shot, the whipped cream is gone from both, his face and her chest, and no one wiped it off.

Correction: That is incorrect. They continuously wipe themselves up between shots.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

Corrected entry: Just after the cow is killed, there's a reaction shot from inside the school bus. The kids are all staring out the windows on the right side of the bus, but they should be looking out the left side where the shooting took place. (00:16:20)

navinjohnson

Correction: The camera was in the front of the bus, so the kids would look out the right instead of the left.

Ocean's Twelve (2004)

Corrected entry: In certain parts of the film, the Tattoo on Rusty's arm is smudged. It is most notable at the end when he is meeting with Lemarc.

Bret DeLashmutt

Correction: Its not smudging, it's a fading effect used on tribal art where they add a drop shadow.
