Factual error: When Chris Farley is climbing up the side of the mountain to return the bird egg, you see the bottom of his moccasins and they appear to be made of a ribbed (for traction) material. Back then, they would have been made from animal hides and the bottoms would have been smooth not ribbed.

Factual error: In the scene where the helicopter falls off the bridge there isn't enough time to start the helicopter, let the systems get enough pressure and get the blades rotating fast enough to provide enough lift to fly plus at the angle the helicopter was falling it couldn't even auto rotate. Factual error: When agent Shaver shows Xander the bandage explosive for the first time he tells Xander to stand behind the wall then detonates the explosive while he is standing next to it. Agent shaver states that the explosive is powerful enough to blow a hole in a steel safe or vaporize a human. The explosive doesn't appear to be a shape charge, so the explosive force should have gone in all directions and hurt or killed agent Shaver. (00:45:35)

Factual error: When the seal team was in the Middle East kidnapping the guy for information, right before Graham was killed someone called Hawkins by his name over the radio not his code name. If the radio was being monitored that would give away the identity of one of the team members that is why they use code names.
