Revealing mistake: In one of the opening scenes the platoon of the captain is gunned down by a MG42. You can see the crimped fronts of the blanks in the belt.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse picture

Continuity mistake: The collision with the deer shattered the windshield in front of driver Ben, but when Ben skidded to a stop, there did not appear to be any damage to the driver's side windshield. When Ben and Carter were getting out of the car and when they were changing the front passenger side tire, the passenger-side windshield was shattered (and closer to the hood compared to midway between the hood and roof on the driver's side, which was no longer there). Stormageddon picture

Factual error: A library assistant is showing his cellphone to a Fed. The Fed pulls out his gun and shoots the assistant from about 8 inches away into his left temple. Another Fed, standing to the immediate right of the assistant is shown after the shot. But there is no blood or material spray on him at all. His white shirt is immaculate. In fact, there is no blood anywhere.

Chi-Raq picture

Continuity mistake: After the shooting at the concert, Lysistrata is in the bathroom downing the pill with some Don Julio tequila. The bottle lid is to the left of the bottle in the wide angles, to the right in close-up. (00:10:00)

The Blackcoat's Daughter picture

Continuity mistake: Spoiler alert: About halfway through the movie, we see Emma Roberts coming out of the shower, and the camera focuses on the gunshot wound on her shoulder, with the round scar of the entry wound on her back, and the much rougher, ragged scar of the exit wound on her front. Then at the end of the movie, where it's revealed that Kiernan Shipka and Emma Roberts were actually playing the same character, just nine years apart, Kiernan Shipka gets shot by the police officer when he finds her in the room with the severed heads. Problem is: she was facing the officer. The scars on Emma Roberts are the wrong way around. (00:31:05 - 01:15:35)

Suffragette picture

Factual error: Throughout the film, the helmet plates worn by the London Policemen are the 1930's pattern with the George V cypher in the centre. In 1912/13 they would have repeated the officer's collar number in the centre. The helmets themselves are also British military pattern blue cloth helmets with Police fittings added, rather than the correct Police pattern ones.

Vice picture

Continuity mistake: The drawing of the church Kelly shows is different than the one she started to draw, even if she erased lines. The whole thing is shifted over to the right and both top lines go from angling towards the horizon to one being straight.

A Very Murray Christmas picture

Continuity mistake: After Liz and Bev tell Bill that they can't cancel the show, they are helping him put his suit jacket on. Dimitri behind him is using a sticky roller thing to get hairs off the jacket and is down on his back. After Bev mentions the weather issues the camera angle changes and suddenly Dimitri has the roller up on his shoulder.

First Response picture

Continuity mistake: At the very start of the movie as the 2 guys walk down the alley way, the one in the black jacket lifts his arm up as he passes the rubbish bin. In the next shot from the front both his arms are in his pockets and the rubbish bins completely disappear. (01:00:00 - 01:01:00)

Sunset Song picture

Factual error: There are several scenes in a field of barley. Tramlines are seen. Tramlines in crops were invented in 1975 to allow tractors and sprayers to drive up and down fields. Sunset Song is set around 1914, 61 years before tramlines were invented.

Grandma picture

Factual error: A 1955 Chevrolet is parked in front of Lily Tomlin's 1955 Dodge. Its license plate reads "528 GPR." California license plates did not begin to use combinations of three numbers followed by three letters until 1969. The "528 GPR" plate would have been issued circa 1975 and originally had yellow letters on a blue background. For the movie, the blue background was repainted black so the colors were appropriate for 1955. However, an actual 1955 plate would have three letters followed by three numbers.

Mr. Holmes picture

Continuity mistake: SPOILER: The boy, Roger, finds a glove in a secret drawer in Mr. Holmes' room. The glove is lying perfectly flat in the drawer. It had supposedly been there for years unknown to Mr. Holmes. Later, in a flashback scene, it shows Dr. Watson putting the glove in the drawer. When he puts the glove in the secret drawer, it is not laid flat in the drawer - it has an obvious upward bend in the glove. Since the glove had been in the drawer, untouched, for years, it should have still had that upward bend.

Suggested correction: Although we are only shown Watson putting the glove in the drawer once there is no reason to suggest he may not have looked at it again before he left for good. More compellingly, Watson placed the glove in the drawer whilst the bureau was in place in Holmes' quarters in London, and it was not discovered until a quarter of a century later having been moved at some point to Holmes' house in Sussex. This journey could also easily have displaced the gloves position to some degree. The weight of papers contained in the drawer above may have also aided in flattening the glove out over the years.

Microbe & Gasoline picture

Continuity mistake: Théo shows up in class unannounced. The teacher tells him to sit next to "that girl", mistaking Daniel for one. The classmates of course have a cackle at that; the girl at the desk behind Daniel's laughs holding a pen in her left hand at first, right hand at the cut. (00:08:50)

The Gunman picture

Continuity mistake: As Sean Penn arrives in the bar at the beginning of the movie, Annie is engaged in conversation with another man, saying "We have to meet the new Minister of Health." You can spot her in the group shot and she has her elbow on the table and leaning her head against the hand. In the close-up her position is completely different. (00:03:00)

High-Rise picture

Continuity mistake: When Sienna Miller says "sorry" after dropping the bottle of champagne from her apartment on a naked Tom Hiddleston, in the faraway shot she is holding her glass in hand, but in close-up she is chuckling with the free hand in front of her mouth. (00:05:05)
