Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers picture

Corrected entry: The penguin's hand is empty when he bumps into Gromit after shutting Wallace in the closet, then he suddenly pulls out a gun out of nowhere.

Correction: Feathers McGraw is an International Criminal Mastermind. He has obviously had a special holster made to hold the gun in the small of his back so he can appear to pull it out of nowhere and terrify his opponents. This is a perfectly common phenomenon in a world inhabited by dogs with advanced engineering skills, remotely controlled trousers than can walk up walls and...you get the picture.

Correction: According to the subtitles, he actually says "You punk. You crazy punk." He never says Mike. Due to Christopher Walken's style of speaking, the first time he says "punk" you can barely hear him say "you" and "punk" can sound like Mike if you aren't listening closely.

Beethoven's 2nd picture

Corrected entry: In the part where Beethoven puts his paws over his eyes, you can tell very easily that they aren't his real paws.

Correction: You're right they probably weren't his real paws but it is not "very easy" to tell. You can't see any strings or anything like that connected to them and the fur on the paws looks the same as regular dog fur.

Hard Target picture

Corrected entry: When Mr Van Cleef comes to kill the mortician we see him hold the gun up to the spy hole int he door covering it. As the mortician looks through the spyhole, you can see Mr Van Cleef holding the gun. However as he was blocking the spyhole with the gun there would have been no light shining through. The mortician should have not been able to see anything at all.

Scrappy

Correction: If you watch the film again, you will see that Mr Van Cleef raises the gun to the keyhole seconds after the mortician puts his eye to it. That would explain why there is light coming through it.

Philadelphia picture

Corrected entry: When Andy is cross-examined by Ms. Conine and she asks him if he has any lesions in his face he says that he has one by his left ear. The scene doesn't give us many chances to check this, but the few times we see the ear there isn't any lesion, not even a small one. (01:32:45)

NancyFelix

Correction: Very possible that he saw a lesion there a few days prior, and it simply went away without him noticing. It's not in the most noticeable place on his face. When he is confronted w/ the mirror, you can tell that he thought a lesion was there, but notices it has gone away, and he is visibly upset by this as this helped the defense's case. He can't see it, thus we can't see it, because it's no longer there.

Searching For Bobby Fischer picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Josh first plays in the Metropolitan Chess Club, he sits down across from the bearded man and they begin a speed game. Josh makes a final, crushing move with the white queen, after which the bearded man knocks over his king. But you can see that the bearded man is playing with the white pieces. So how can they both be playing white?

Correction: Josh is playing with black. Josh's "crushing move" is actually the capture of the man's white queen, as the piece is slammed down off of the playing board.

Untamed Heart picture

Corrected entry: It's raining on Christmas Eve in Minneapolis. That doesn't happen in Minnesota...ever.

Correction: This is absolutely not true! I live in the Minneapolis area and drove to my boyfriend's house 3 nights after Christmas Eve in pouring rain and didn't even need a jacket as it was about 45 degrees outside.

Made in America picture

Corrected entry: In one scene, Ted Danson's character tells Nia Long's character that the hospital wants her to donate more blood, as her blood is AB negative, which is pretty rare. True, it is rare, but it's also useless as donated blood, since the only other people who can receive it are other people of type AB - and anyone who is of type AB doesn't need AB blood, they can receive blood A, B, or O.

Correction: Yes, but hospitals like to have all blood types, so they can use the universal blood in emergency situations where they do not know blood type, and use the exact match blood for planned procedures where they know the patients blood type.

Free Willy picture

Corrected entry: When Jesse is trying to get Willy to jump over him and the barrier at the end of the movie, Jesse is perfectly still and Willy would have to jump over the barrier AND Jesse.

Malaver

Correction: I don't see how this is a mistake; Willy DOES jump over the barrier and Jesse.

Alive picture

Corrected entry: One stupid mistake in this film is that after 70 odd days (at the end of the film), characters are seen smoking. After this time they still have cigarettes?

Correction: They found the tail and with it lots of cigarettes when they had already been there for a while. It's those cigarettes they smoke later.

The Remains of the Day picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Anthony Hopkins addresses the staff after the house has been sold to the American, Queen Elizabeth's portrait in modern times is hanging on the back of the kitchen.

Correction: The portrait is actually of Queen Mary, not Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Mary, by that time, was the Queen Mother.

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bruce Lee fights the guy with the 5 or 6 important people watching, before Bruce Lee walks in, you can see a boom mic or a camera or something in the bottom right corner. (May only be visible in widescreen).

Correction: It is not a boom mic or camera, it is a light fixture which is part of the set itself.

Striking Distance picture

Corrected entry: In chase at the start, the cop in the passenger seat puts the siren on HIS side of the car. At the end of the chase, it's on Bruce Willis' side of the car.

Correction: Sorry, totally wrong. Watch again and you can see Bruce Willis reach down and get the light and then stick it on the car.

Mafia picture

Corrected entry: When Don Cortino is killed by his grandson Chucky, Chucky reaches into Don Cortino's pocket and takes his wallet (and his watch I think). When Chucky walks away laughing, you can see Don Cortino breathing rather heavily.

Correction: You can see and hear him take only one breath. This is supposed to signify his "last breath". After he takes that breath, that is when he dies.

Homeward Bound picture

Corrected entry: After the three pets' family drives into the pound singing a song, you can hear someone saying 'Okay, we got it.' Voice of the director ending the scene?

Correction: Actually what happens is: one of the dogs, Chance, is gloating about escaping from the pound. The cat asks, "What about me?", the dog replies "Oh yeah, Sassy the supercat.", to which Sassy laughs and replies, "You got it."

The Adventures of Huck Finn picture

Corrected entry: When Huck and the bratty blonde girl are talking about England, the girl says that George IV is the king. George IV reigned from 1820-1830, but the story of Huckleberry Finn is thought to take place in the 1830's or 1840's, not as early as the 1820s. (01:08:30)

Krista

Correction: It's only a mistake if the movie is not set in the 1820s. The books setting could well be slightly different.

The Man Without a Face picture

Corrected entry: When Charles is getting his letters returned to him, presumably by McLeod as the viewer is led to believe, you can see that the address he is sending them to lacks a zip code.

Macalou

Correction: Mail CAN be forwarded or returned without the zip code! It just takes longer, as it must be hand sorted.
