Continuity mistake: When Calvin Q. Calculus has invented the portable hole, he says "Eureka!" and you can that there is a beaker on the desk, but in the next shot the beaker has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Daffy gives Porky his card, Porky holds it with both hands but a close-up of the card shows him holding it with only one hand.
Continuity mistake: When we first see the cheese where Hubie and Bertie have been eating from, there are two holes and by the left hole there are pieces of cheese. When Hubie emerges from the hole, the pieces have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Tom shoots a stream of balls to flatten Jerry, the last ball in the pack is coloured purple, but when the balls rebound off the side rail, the last ball is now a green one.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvester sees the Daily Bugle newspaper, the front cover headline reads "Police Hunt The Cat." You can see the words THE CAT have nothing around them, but when we see a close-up of the newspaper in the next shot, inverted commas have suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: Mickey Mouse uses an axe to cut down a tree for Christmas. Each chop he makes is horizontal, but when the tree falls over, the lower part of the trunk comes to a point, and the stump remaining in the ground has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When we see "Ben Birdie" on the stage at the start of the cartoon, he is surrounded by a piano, tuba and a drum, but when a mouse appears out of the tuba in the next shot, the drum has completely disappeared.
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before the snowman comes to life, the clock in the hallway reads midnight. But a little later, when he is showing the snowman around the house and he is about to lead him upstairs, the clock reads 8:05.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs is horrified to realise that he was holding a picket sign, the yellow paint on his tail disappears briefly.
Continuity mistake: When Daffy is clawed by the bear, he loses his hat in the process. But when we Daffy running in the next shot, the hat is back on his head again.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvester is looking through the window with his binoculars, he looks at Spike and you can see there is a bowl with a bone next to his kennel. But when Sylvester sneaks past Spike's kennel after entering the yard, the bowl has gone.
Continuity mistake: When Tom is tip-toeing past the gate at the start of the cartoon, Spike is sleeping and you can see there is nothing around his neck, but in the next shot a dog collar has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: Buster Keaton drops his coat on the sidewalk in front of a light post. When he returns for it in the next shot, the coat has moved and wrapped itself around the pole.
Continuity mistake: Oliver Hardy is teetering at the top of a ladder which is in the back of Stan Laurel's car. Stan is driving west on Wilshire Boulevard when Oliver, and the ladder, fall into the street. Oliver gets back into the car but now is it inexplicably atop the streetcar tracks and facing the opposite direction.
Continuity mistake: When Oliver produces two apples as part of the plan to help him and Stan escape from prison, you can see that he is holding the apples with his fingers under them, but the next shot shows Oliver holding the apples with his fingers around them.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvester tries to open the front door, you can see there is nothing under the handle, but when Sylvester opens the letterbox in the next shot, a key hole has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: Watch the hinges when Goldilocks is at the wolf's house. In some shots they are on the front door; others they aren't.
Continuity mistake: When we see a view of the calculation that the baby woodpecker is writing on a piece of paper, you can see the woodpecker's hand is on the left hand side of the paper, but in the next shot his hand is now on the bottom of the paper.
Continuity mistake: When Charlie Dog pushes Porky Pig back into his chair after throwing him out, you can see there is a telephone on the table, but when we see Charlie in the next shot, the telephone has vanished.
Continuity mistake: When Butch suggests to Stan and Oliver about getting a blowtorch to melt the lock off, the saw which Stan is using is by Butch. When Oliver says "That's a good idea!", we return to Butch in the trunk and the saw has gone.
